Nice, smooth coverage for when my skin is clear. Great for weekend-light/natural-look.
On my 2nd bottle = )
This is a "premature review" & will do updates during the process of using this product. After irritating my skin with scrubs, masks & high-concentration of benzoyl peroxide, salicylic acid, zinc & sulfur from several brands (out of desperation). I was looking into Dermalogica, Mario Badescu & Murad. I did some research through MUA & YT & what I got was mixed feelings about the brands. As I am still waiting to be seen by a dermatologist, I figured I should try any of the above products. I did not go with Mario Badescu line just because my face is so dry & irritated already & I should try something more gentle. I was torn between Dermalogica & Murad but ended up getting Murad because I saw this "Anti-Aging Acne Kit". Today is DAY ONE (hence, the premature review note): The cleanser was so soothing to my irritated, scaly-dry face. The acne & wrinkle reducer & the moisturizer with SPF was also soothing. I did not have to slather a whole lot of product. The acne spot treatment does not sting at all. On top of this kit, I used some antibiotic on the zits that look infected. SO FAR, I like how gentle the products are in the kit. Treated the redness & severe dryness caused by irritants I have used the last week. WILL UPDATE after a week of use....
I have the exfoliating ones. I have one on my bathroom counter, one in my car & an extra one in my luggage for travelling. This removes makeup & does not leave my face sticky.
I use this together with the root awakening shampoo. The scent is light & refreshing. I used to get dandruff with other shampoos & conditioners. The dandruff shampoos can be too strong & leaves my hair frizzy. Clean scalp & soft, manageable hair, who wouldn't want that?
I bought this a while ago, used it on a few acne marks. Once the acne marks faded, I totally forgot I had it. I tried maybe 2-3 drugstore concealers since then, again, to cover blemishes & none of those worked. A few weeks ago, I found this in one of my forgotten makeup bags & started using it again. It took me some time to get used to the application. The trick is to use as little as possible, like barely squeezing the tube. Yes, it is expensive but a speck of it can cover quite a few blemishes. I don't use it as an undereye concealer so I cannot comment on that one.
If you don't want to spend so much $$ on a ceramic flat iron, get this one! It's works great and the option to use it as wet to dry straightener is brilliant! However, the "frying sound" It makes tells me I should not use it on wet hair all the time. Overall, I'm happy with this purchase.
I've tried almost everything from drugstore brands to brand names & I'm not saying (yet) that this is the best one. The main reason I purchased this is I want to wear a sort of lighter & go for a more natural look. With the shade that I got (B40), it still looks that I have makeup on (of course) but with the smooth & dewy finish & medium coverage. The reason why I gave it a 3 is because like any other foundation, with my Asian/combo (normal/oily skin), I get the shiny/oily look in a just a few hours. I'm not ready to give up (yet) on this one, I may try to MUFE HD powder with it & see if it will look better after a few hours. One more thing, don't squeeze the container so much, you don't need to do that unless you want a mess & waste a lot of product. I will update this review in a week or two, by then I should know how I really feel about it. UPDATE: IMHO, it's not any better that TM's I've tried.
Makeup that doesn't look made-up. Looks really natural on my medium-toned skin.
Too strong floral/jasmine scent. Not for me.
Strong alcohol before the drydown. I could barely smell this on me after a couple of hours.
Love that I can put my layered hair into bun on d side without using 100 hairpins!

Great foundation. Not sticky. I use the MAC 187 & it goes on so evenly & smoothly. I have only tried it with a makeup primer first so I'm not sure if it will apply the same without the primer.
So far, I heart this lipstick. Great for my very pigmented lips. I gave it a 4 just because tho it's silky, it's matte on my lips & I have to apply a clear lipgloss.
