First off, the pro pans ARE magnetized. I have no idea what the person below me is talking about. And the magnets are stronger than MAC's. So far I have the shades: Bling, Shimma Shimma, Beaches and Cream, Peach Smoothie, Purely Naked, Bleached Blonde, Latte, Country Girl, Cocoa Bear, Burlesque, Sensuous, Drama Queen, Pretentious, & Bada Bing. I have used all the colors everyday since I have ordered them. I can honestly say I LOVE these shadows and for the price you cannot go wrong. All companies will have a dud or two in their shadows. Some companies have tons of bad shadows. I can name many from MAC and every other high end brand. But then they have their shining stars as well. -Out of all the MUG shadows I have the only one I kind of regret buying is Bleached Blonde. It is a pretty color, but instead of being a frost/ metallic, the actual color is a bit sheer and there are flecks of glitter. I will still use it, but will not repurchase that one. -As for the other colors I literally love them. -This is hard, but so far if I had to choose a first 5 must-haves just from the ones I already own: Bada Bing, Sensuous, Burlesque, Shimma Shimma and Drama Queen. Just because they are unique to me. Shimma Shimma may not look too unique, but I find it to be the perfect inner corner highlight. -I plan on purchasing more and updating my thoughts on more of her colors, but so far I am very pleased! -Plus, I love supporting someone like Marlena. It is not easy creating a make-up line and you can tell she put a lot of thought into these shadows especially on a tight budget.

Eyeliner -New York Color - High Definition Liquid Eyeliner extra black
rated 5 of 5
makeupMichelle10 2/26/2013 6:00:00 PM

This is the BEST liquid liner I have found to date. I have tried the high end ones and I cannot justify paying that much for a cosmetic item I run through so quickly. The Loreal Lineur intense was garbage to me. The tip never stayed precise and the formula was very thin. All the other drugstore ones just do not compare to this one. The NYC liner's tip is the perfect width and comes to a beautiful point. Precise enough I can get right into the lash light with no gaps. The NYX one was waaaaayyy too thin to make a nice cat eye. NYC's is insanely pigmented and the formula is thick enough it doesn't look like I took a Sharpie to my eye. Try it! For the price its at least giving a shot!

Foundations -Cover Girl - Outlast Stay Fabulous 3 in 1 Foundation
rated 2 of 5

I want to be able to keep this foundation and use it. LOVE the formula... but I cannot find a single shade that works for me! The lighter shades oxidize like crazy and turn orange. The other shades I tried are way too pink/grey. Not a lot of options for true olive or yellow undertones.

Eye Shadow -Unlisted Brand - Makeup Geek- Latte
rated 5 of 5
makeupMichelle10 2/23/2013 3:31:00 PM

This may not be a unique color, but it is one of those essential shades. To compare, I usually use MAC Cork in the crease. MUG Latte has replaced that! Crazy but MAC doesn't have something really to compare to it. The MUA at MAC told me cork was a nice warm crease color. After seeing them next to each other, Cork is not warm AT ALL. It is dusty and ashy. MUG Latte is lighter than Swiss Chocolate, but adds a beautiful warmth Cork lacks. So even though it looks like a plain brown in the pan, it has the most beautiful warmth and adds life to my eyes just by using it as a blending color. Texture is perfect and for the price I would buy this even over drugstore browns.

Eye Shadow -Unlisted Brand - Makeup Geek- Burlesque
rated 5 of 5
makeupMichelle10 2/23/2013 3:12:00 PM

This is exactly what I wanted MAC Cranberry and UD Last Call to do for me. Burlesque is a gorgeous shade that contains the perfect amount of cranberry, brown, purple all in one. It doesnt' lean too pink like MAC Cranberry and it is more neutral than UD Last Call. It is also less metallic than the two which makes it more wearable during the day. While this color is beautiful for everyone, those with green or hazel eyes will find this color to make their eyes look sexy-intense. It is very easy to pair this shadow. Some looks I have done with Burlesque: MUG Burlesque on the lid, MUG Drama Queen on outside and crease, and Peach Smoothie for blending to add warmth. OR Burlesque in crease, Purely Naked on lid, Latte to blend out. This will be more daytime appropriate. Pigmentation is amazing, texture is great. Considering this is better than some of MAC and UD shadows (and I have always been a huge UD lover) the price is GREAT! If you are thinking about ordering some MUG shadows, just make the commitment and get a few and I promise you will be hooked! I want all the colors now! I've already placed 3 orders in one month. And its always great to support one of my fave beauty girls on YouTube, thanks Marlena!

Liquid -Urban Decay - Naked Skin
rated 5 of 5
makeupMichelle10 1/25/2013 8:31:00 PM

I have been using this foundation since it released... which is rare since most foundations I have an issue with and end up exchanging or not using. PROS: (for me at least) - medium coverage, yet buildable. - satin finish, not matte, not dewey... which is nice for the combo skin gal who can never make up her mind, like me! - I never do touch ups, and this foundation lasts. - looks great topped with a light powder - applies even better with a primer, but not needed for a great application (I wear Revlon's) - I personally like how thin it is. I cannot stand thicker foundations, they never set on my skin. - Bottle is beautiful and a durable plastic. (im not a fan of glass) - Shade range is pretty wide - solid enough for summer, yet soft enough for winter. CONS: - my first bottle's pump broke, and it was not pretty... second bottle is just fine. Might have been my mistake. - If you do not moisturize your skin, this will not work for you. I find days I do not moisturize by accident, the oils from my face makes this foundation move A LOT - Colors jump from one shade to too dark or too light. - Yellow and Pink tones... not too much in the middle. I'm very yellow, but the neutral gal may have difficulties finding a shade. This foundation is great for me, but it is easy for it to look wrong. Moisturize the skin well, use a buffing brush for application, and dust a light powder over. And you will acheive a really nice canvas :-) I am: NC25 in winter = Shade 3.0 NC35ish in summer = Shade 4.0

Lip Gloss -NYX - Mega Shine - La La
rated 5 of 5
makeupMichelle10 1/17/2013 2:53:00 PM

OMG, I just discovered this color. I have not bought a NYX megashine gloss in a while. The colors I was seeing at my local Ulta were always either too shimmery or the colors were bland. But this color changes everything for me! I usually hate the way pinks look against my yellow skin tone, but this is warm enough to suit many skintones. It is bright, but not yucky bright. The perfect amount of pigmentation and so smooth to apply. LaLa is pure love. If you are looking to branch out into brighter colors but are scared of lipsticks, try this color! I will be rocking this all spring and summer long. Yet, it is deep enough to wear in colder months as well.

Lipstick -Maybelline - Color Whisper
rated 5 of 5
makeupMichelle10 1/10/2013 3:12:00 PM

I adore Pin Up Peach, it gives me a fresh tint of coral-peach. About the new Whispers... THEY ARE MEANT TO BE SHEER TINTS. Please do not buy them if you are expecting pigmented lipsticks. They are meant to be moisturizing balms with hits of color. I have very pigmented lips and this color shows up just beautifully on me. Not too sheer, but much more natural than a lipstick. I can say for my lips these are very moisturizing, more so than Revlon lipbutters. Revlon lip butters pack more of a color punch, but I find them too close to lipsticks. The whispers are easy, I apply them without a mirror for a quick fix on the run and it gives a nice sheen without being a thick glossy finish. I do wish there was SPF in them, but I love them regardless. I love all lip products...lipstick, gloss and tints. I use them for different purposes and Maybelline Whispers gave me an easy flush of color with moisture. I bought mine at Target because it was cheaper than drugstores and Ulta.

Treatments -Unlisted Brand - Beauty Secrets - Acetone for natural nails polish remover
rated 4 of 5
makeupMichelle10 10/26/2012 2:01:00 AM

This is a great polish remover, but it still is not exactly what I am looking for. I do not mind the smell, it smells better than regular remover. I only wish it removed polish a little quicker, but it is rather nourishing on the nails. I find myself tugging at my nails trying to get the last of the polish off. I am going to try Zoyas and see how it compares.

Highlighters -MAC - Superb Extra Dimension Skinfinish
rated 5 of 5
makeupMichelle10 4/18/2012 8:05:00 PM

K for starts this is NOT an msf! It's a skinfinish and the formula is completely different from a mineralized product! I have owned the most popular msfs and highlighting products by MAC and several other brands. This is my favorite highlighter right now. The color looks gorgeous on my warm skin. My boyfriend everytime I wear this tells me I look very pretty and have a sexy look about my makeup. It compliments all my blushes and even balances out blushes that are took pigmented on the cheek. I have no regrets buying this, and I feel it deserves credit because let's face it.... There are many other MAC products that received a ton of hype that people later found the products quality itself sucked. I don't cave into hype, but I do give products worth consideration a proper review. There are tons of highlighters out there and this one just happens to do what I want well. I prefer glow to my cheeks that is not chunky and not white. Wearing lighter highlighters seems too unnatural to me. Something along the same undertone of my skin but reflects a light glow is ideal to me, and Superb nails it. Whisper of gilt is pretty too, but appeared to fake of a highlighter for me.

Eye Shadow -Maybelline - Color Tattoo 24hr Cream Gel Shadow
rated 5 of 5
makeupMichelle10 3/16/2012 6:15:00 PM

Maybelline knocked this one out of the park. I went to bed with it on (total accident) and woke up with it looking great! Colors are amazing and these are far better than MAC paintpots. I got tough as Taupe and Bad to the Bronze and plan to get the colors as we get into summer!

Lipstick -MAC - Viva Glam Nicki
rated 3 of 5
makeupMichelle10 2/19/2012 8:59:00 PM

**I would rate this a 3.5 if I could** VGNicki in the tube looks gorgeous. I went to the store to try this before buying and I was really indecisive. Once I stepped outside in natural light (I hate MAC lights) the lipstick appeared much more magenta on me. My lips are fairly pigmented, so I was excited because I thought the lipstick may pull more coral, but it looks more like an intense magenta... just a brighter version of Chatterbox. Its still a beautiful color though. I think it would have been best as an Amplified finish... Satins are thick and too drying IMO. I ended up purchasing it and going to play around with it, probably apply it with a brush since applying straight from the tube gives me WAY too much product. I topped it with a peach-coral toned lipgloss and it improved the look, but still leaned more magenta on me. I'm NC25-30 and very golden undertoned.

Polishes -Essie - Van d'Go
rated 5 of 5
makeupMichelle10 2/8/2012 12:46:00 AM

Im in LOVE. I found that perfect pastel pink with a hint of peach tone to it. There is an art to applying most Essie polishes, and i finally have it down. I get a streak free, perfect application on the 2nd coat. You have to go big or go home and lust lay it on thick. The second you start brush strokes with no polish on it, that is when it streaks. Thank you ESSIE!!!!

Liquid -L'Oreal - Visible Lift Serum Absolute Advanced Age-Reversing Makeup
rated 2 of 5
makeupMichelle10 2/2/2012 3:01:00 PM

So far I am really liking this foundation. It is by far the best drugstore foundation I have found yet. It seems pricey for the brand, but do your homework and you can get it on sale :) I am typically an NC30 and 151 was a tad dark for me, so I will need to exchange it for a different color and come back to the 151 in the summer time. The texture takes little effort to blend and the smell is pleasant. I must set it with a powder though because I am combo skin and after 5 hours I can see my pores coming through. It lasted all day through college on me and it looked pretty decent 12 hours later when I got home. Once I get the other color match for my skin and start setting it with a powder and its working great, this foundation will definitely become 5 stars!!! Edit... Foundation does not stay put through the slightest bit of oil. My face looked patchy after a couple of hours
