I really adore this product. My skin is very oily, prone to acne and I have blackheads all over my face. This product may only offer light coverage, but it really is fantastic. I pair it with the select coverup, and this foundation works amazingly well. My "mask" of foundation truly looks like my skin.
Lipstick -Yves Saint Laurent - Rouge Volupte-peach passion

I am really moderate about this product. The texture and pigment are amazing, but it settles into every crack or dry spot on my lips. I started looking for a colour dupe for Illamasqua's Obey and Brink lipsticks because I can't get them where I live. The shade of this lipstick resembles that of Brink, but this is not my HG shade. I'm currently a NC35 in MAC foundation, and this shade suits me well.
Hair Styling Tools -Goody - 100% boar bristle brush

I bought this because i was tired of having dry, split ends that break off with any pressure or pull, and after doing some research, i decided on a boar bristle brush. Well, all of the ones i found at reputable hair retailers were around $30, and i wasn't about to spend $30 on a hairbrush that i wasn't sure would work. This is a cheap brush, the bristles have stuck me numerous times, I'm not sure if it is comparable to other boar bristle brushes, but i will be making a trip to Sephora next month and will be buying a new brush.
I have been searching for a nice light pink for awhile now, I just wasn't sure if a bright colour would look good on me. I live about 2 hours from any MAC or Sephora, and I wanted to see if I truly liked light pink before I spent $20 (I always love it at the store...). I hauled myself to the nearest drugstore, and tested out products. I love a good matte product, and this matte application closely resembles that of MAC. This lipstick also has a lot of pigment. It's a blue-based pink, and it looks gorgeous against my NC35 skin. Gorgeous. Be careful, your teeth can't be yellow to pull this off. Overall, it's a nice surprise.
Let's start this review with the products I have tried. NARS sheer glow and matte, MAC Studio Fix Fluid, MUFE Mat Velvet and MUFE Duo Mat, not including the several drugstore brands I used before my city had a Sephora. I purchased this because I was tired of trying to blend my duo mat 200 into my spray tan and needed a foundation that matched. Long story short, this is my HG foundation. I have very oily and combo skin, and this stays on for hours! Shade 2.5 is perfect for me and it does not cake on me. I adore this product. Would have enjoyed a lid for the pump though,
Liquid -Make Up For Ever - Mat Velvet PLUS Matifying Foundation

I honestly never knew how a foundation could "slide off" someone's face until I tried this foundation. It didn't really mattify any of my oilier areas, instead it just increased the definition of my dry areas. I liked MUFE duo mat powder much better.
I like this lipstick. The packaging is the same as every basic MAC lipstick, black, sleek, and it keeps your lipstick protected. The glossy sheen is nice, but it wasn't part of my daily makeup routine. If you want the coveted "Myth" look, just toned down, this is the lipstick for you. The problem I had with this lipstick is it's lack of pigment. It comes on very well, but I was looking for a more pigmented lipstick. This lipstick just tones down my natural lip colour and adds some shine.
I bought this line after trying tons of different treatments and shampoos to tame my combination hair. A lot of the reviews here say that the line (particularly the reconstructing conditioner) makes your roots greasy. Well, my hair has always been very combination. Oily roots and ends that crumble with any touch. To combat the extra grease on my roots, i use the conditioners on my shafts and ends, completely excluding my roots. This product is not a life saver. It does, however, help a bit.
I adore this bronzer! I use it for bronzing and contouring. Amazing! It looks so natural! I'm definitely buying again. It lasted me 1.5 months (applying twice daily) until the metal bottom started to show. A bit expensive, but worth the cash.
best nude lipstick i've tried! i've been buying this lipstick for the past four years, and have only had one complaint. the formula is fantastic and it looks so good with a smoky eye or a neon eye. the one complaint that i have is that being so pale, and having strong yellow undertones, this lipstick looks too peachy on me. i'd really recommend this to makeup lovers with more tanned, olive or darker complexions. it's such a great lipstick and such a beautiful colour. just not for me, so next i'm going to try MAC Fleshpot lipstick.
Powder -Make Up For Ever - Duo Mat Powder foundation

i love this product! after buying NARS, Sephora, liquid MUFE, MAC and many drugstore brand foundations, I finally found one that not only stays matte on my oil-slick T-zone, but also matches my extremely pale skine tone. It covers the occasional blemish and blemish scars with staying power. this is truly a lovely product. the one issue that i have is that the shade i wear (200) is never in stock at the local Sephora. overall, this product absorbs oil, blends fantastically, covers from sheer to full and looks natural!
