Lips -E.L.F. - E.L.F. Essential Lip Stain - Crimson Crush
mailife4 5/2/2013 4:56:00 PM
LOVE this product! I was always a fan of the lip stains but I couldn't find a good color for a dark lips. I purchase this color at Target when it was release. The fine tip gives you the accuracy to create clean lines. The texture feels like a watercolor and dries instantly for a matte finish. However, it can be drying so moisturize the lips before application. The color is bold and the look lasts over 8 hours with little reapplying after meals or drinks. The only downside is that I'm not sure how much this product contains but I can feel the pen drying. Even after that, for $2 it's still a steal.

Liquid -Shiseido - Sun Protection Liquid Foundation SPF 42 PA+++
mailife4 5/2/2013 4:43:00 PM
This was first high end sun screen product, which I admit it's an excellent for oily/dry combination skin. It's a milky substance that doesn't have that strong sun screen smell. The product goes on smooth and is easily absorbed by the skin to leave a dewy feel and doesn't leave a white tint on the skin. It's doesn't have that sweaty feeling on the skin and you do need to reapply every two hours to maximize the sun screen properties. It doesn't clog the pores like most products do and it's blends in with the makeup. It's a bit pricey but if you are looking for a good product for oily/dry combo skin, give this a try.

Lip Treatments -Chapstick - Cherry

As a child, this chapstick has not fail me at all. I love the convience of reaching into my pocket to apply it on when my lips get dry. It immediately smoothes and moisturizes. Plus, the cherry smell is nice.

Loose Powders -Clinique - Blended Face Powder in Transparency 3
mailife4 2/1/2013 5:35:00 PM
This was very disappointing. The bigest con was how powdery I look with very little product. It sits on the skin after blending it out for 3 minutes. I try a makeup spray to settle the makeup, but it just looks awful. Don't even waste your money on this.

Eye Shadow -Wet 'n' Wild - Color Icon Trio - Silent Treatment
mailife4 2/1/2013 5:17:00 PM
This is my favorite travel eyeshadow kit. It's compact with excellent colors to play with. The highlighter color is soft shimmery pink/champagne color. It's not harsh to the eyes like a pearl white shadow. My favorite color is the cool grey/purple eyelid shadow. I've never seen a color like this before. I swear, everytime I apply this on my eyes it brighten the over look while still giving you the sutry look. It's my first recommendation when it comes to any type of makeup!

Eye Shadow -Wet 'n' Wild - 8-pan Palette "Comfort Zone"
mailife4 2/1/2013 5:10:00 PM
Being Wet n' Wild fan, I purchased this during one of the many sales that CVS was having. Let me first say that Wet n' Wild still amazes me with the great pigmentation and color variations you get. As a brown /green palette, the different color combinations are fun to be creative. This palette can take your look from day to night with just a simple change of one color. It's not powdery and very easy to blend. It's my go-to palette for brown instead of the MAC. As beginner palette, it's the best way to get your feet wet with makeup. I just wish the brush and sponge applicator was better.

Powder -LORAC - Oil-Free Wet/Dry Makeup
mailife4 2/1/2013 5:03:00 PM
For the longest time, I still have the hardest time looking for a good matching powder foundation. Luckily, I got to meet the creator of Lorac, Carol, who talked me into buying her foundation. I really like the concept of applying the foundation as a dry powder or applying it with a wet sponge for a dewy look. It was a perfect match to my Asian skin. But there are some cons to this product. It's quite expensive for the amount of product you get. It's some in size and shape as the L'oreal powder foundation but just 3 times more expensive. I do like to product but not too sure if I would recommend it for anyone. You can find something else that you like and it's within your budget.

Bronzers -LORAC - TANtalizer Baked Bronzer
mailife4 2/1/2013 4:44:00 PM
I bought this a while back when the makeup creator, Carol, was helping me find my first bronzer. I wasn't sure which bronzer suited my fair/medium Asian skin. At the Sephora, it looked great when she applied it to my face as she stated it can be used as a bronzer or blush. But once I got home, I realized how very dark it was and it wasn't very blendable. I looked like a clown with two brown circles on my cheeks. I also didn't like how slimmery it really was. It wasn't the soft glow that I wanted it to be so I had to return it. I wouldn't recommend it for anyone as a good first bronzer.

BB Cream -MISSHA - M Perfect Cover BB Cream
mailife4 1/23/2013 2:58:00 PM
So a few months ago, I was able to get this bb cream for free for my first order. Although the color was lighter (no. 21), I still gave it a try. I'm more of no. 23 shade. Come on, it was free! I was pleasantly surprise that the color didn't make me look ghostly. It was able to blend well to my natural skin color and provided light/medium coverage. It was very light weight compare to Skin 79 pink. For someone with dry.oily skin, this cream was very moisturizing without the greasy/oily feel. It left my face feeling smooth to the touch. I would definitely buy this product again but maybe try a darker shade.

Blush -L'Oreal - True Match Superblendable Blush in Innocent Flush
mailife4 12/13/2012 3:53:00 PM
For anyone looking for a bright coral blush, this may be the product you're looking for. The color is very pigmented with golden glitter to give you a glowing look. It's looks natural and can easily be buildable. It's long lasting and if you're watching for good deals, you can get this for 40% off at some drug stores. The only down sides are the brush it comes with sucks and the little product you get.

Makeup Brushes -E.L.F. - Studio Powder Brush
mailife4 12/13/2012 3:41:00 PM
ELF products has always been my favorite. So when I finally got my hands on this brush, I was excited at how well this product has become my go-to brush. The dense brush feels soft and evenly applies my powder. It barely have to get seconds of my powder to get a matte finish. I sometimes use this brush for bronzer to help contour the sides of my face.

Treatments -Unlisted Brand - Lemon Juice
mailife4 9/21/2012 6:58:00 PM
My mother used to put lemon juice on my face to lighten the freckles I had when I was kid. I decided to give it another shot now that I'm in my late 20s. After a week on the lemon treatment, the results were amazing. My skin looked younger, the freckles looked lighter, and my large pores looked smaller. The dry skin appeared less and less. I love how it's a cheap alternative for a microdermabrasion. And its all natural!!! The only downside is that you must stay out of the sun or the affects will not work.

Blush -E.L.F. - All Over Color Stick in Pink Lemonade
mailife4 6/21/2012 3:17:00 AM
I bought the pink lemonade stick on a whim to try out. I can say for just a $1, it's a great find. The color looks intense in the tube so a little goes a long way. But once you blend in with either a brush or fingers (I do this), the color goes to a nice flush pink color. There is shimmer in it and it does blend nicely to my skin. For the most part, this is my everyday blush replacing my mac. I had good results from this product so I won't discourage anyone from buying this product.

Sunscreen -La Roche Posay - Anthelios XL SPF 60 Fluide Extreme
mailife4 6/21/2012 3:06:00 AM
This has become my favorite sunscreen for this year. My sister recommended that I use this brand because of the many freckles I was getting. It's very light when you apply it and dry instantly giving my face a nice dewy feel. It also doesn't feel like my face is dry. I love this brand better than my shiseido because shiseido can feel oily by the end of the day. However with the La Roche Posay, it's barely gets greasy unless it's a super hot day. As for as my freckles, I can't really tell if my freckles have lessen due to the cucumber/lemon treatment I'm doing. However, I can tell my skin hasn't tan and it doesn't clog my pores. That's a big plus in my book. This product can be pricey, but wait until CVS has a deal on it before buying. It's a good sunscreen protector that feels great without the oil.

Lipstick -MAC - Cremesheen - Shy Girl
mailife4 6/21/2012 2:11:00 AM
I have been looking for the perfect nude lip color that won't make my lips look too nude nor make my lips look like there's nothing on it. I'm Viet with olive/tan skin (I use Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer in nude to give you an idea) And I think this is the color. It's a great shade from my skin type because it doesn't make my lips look unnatural or too pale. The formula goes on smooth and sheer. It's not matte, which I love, and it has a shimmer finish. Another note, one or two swipes on the lips is all you need to applying it. HOWEVER, my biggest complain is the way it sits on my lips. If I don't apply any lip balm, the color looks crack and fills in all the fine lines on my lips. So apply some sort of moisturizer before use. As for me, I have dark/reddish lips so I sometimes have concealer on before applying the color. Other than that, I love the color against my skin color. I would recommend this color if anyone is looking for a good nude lipstick.
