I love the tube it looks so classy and it really easy to use. Always fits in the make-up bag too! But, I have awful acne and oily skins and it stay put perfectly all day. I don't understand how people can use this as a foundation all over the face its simply way too thick for even the worse skin like mine (is so spotty). It feels heavy, it's a nighttime make up when u need extra heavy. I like full coverage but this feel discusting all over the face and looks very fake, and t transferred everywhere?! I love this however under my eyes and as a concealer on imperfections (spots ect.) I like full coverage but I find this looks very dull, fake and Cakey on myself and others as a foundation. It's water resistant so this stuff is great for concealer but drys out even the oilyest skin which causes more oil , more spots. It's too thick and I don't like the look. Wayyyy to fake and Cakey great as a concealer due to its consistency an coverage.

I have always suffered with bad acne and have tried so many different medications for it benzel peroxide ect. But I went to my gp & explained how depressed my acne was making me feel and making my appearance effect my life. She suggested this gel formula, warned me it would make my skin sensitive. At first I broke out really bad and my skin was so sore I couldn't appy my foundation or primer it was a night mare. But I've used this for a year now, and I look completely different my skin is almost completely clear, scars are practically gone but still have the odd red spot or cluster of cysts that develop on my cheeks. I used elemis cleanser and apply this only to my cheeks now before I go to bed, as soon as I wake up I splash and dry my face and apply my moisturiser. At first I needed to use lots of moisturiser as my skin felt super dry, but now it's fine and I'm back to my usual beauty routine with my spots at bay. My gel came in a tube and a screw lid and its a medicine so the packaging isn't OMG IT'S SO BEAUTIFUL it's just a white tube ... !

unlike other comments I really like the container, I think it looks classy and bulky which I like its a statement jar - simple & elegant. I have oily skin, I was worried on the first day I applied it that it would look awful on my skin but I gave the tester a go. I wore it for a few days, the first day it looked like a mess as I'd applied to much making it break apart in areas. I feel the colour is true to my tone although when applied it seems to go alot lighter? I love this foundation for my oily skin in the winter, I feel drying products made for oily skin make my skin more oily because its too dry; this however gave me a wonderful glow that didn't look greasy at the end of the day. It does transfer and I did have to apply powder on my chin and nose throughout the day or I'd look really shiny. Estée Lauder double wear lasted great although I felt it didn't look natural. This covers all of my spots and acne, and acne scarres perfecty. It doesn't glide on!!! you really have to work it in to the skin or it will cake up. I use my fingers and work fast, I find dabbing it instead of rubbing it into the skin gives a fuller coverage. I wear this everyday for work because I feel confident it won't dry my skin but won't make me look like an oily mess after a few hours. I love the finish of the foundation although I hate the texture it feels so thick, I can still feel it on my face BUT it's a small sacrifice when it makes u look flawless without acne. The make up artist said it can work on oily skin when a primer is used and powder is used on top. I couldn't wear this without powder as I am definate it would melt of my face. My partner thinks it looks so natural and not "fake". Looks wonderful but under bright shop lights and up close my spots are visible and when applied in a rush it looks Cakey and sometimes enhances my imperfections. I won't use this in the summer, but in the winter it keeps my oil at bay as my skin feels it doesn't need to produce oil as it hydrated throughout the day. I try my hardest not to touch my face as it doesn't seem to dry..even with powder. This foundation takes practice to get the application just right to make it look good if not then it will look crapp. If you want a quick fix and don't want to spend a while applying it then dont go for it. I wouldn't use a brush or sponge with this foundation as its thick it can easily clog the pores, it glides over with fingers and looks great. It is expensive yes, but you get what you pay for and because its think and will only wear in winter it's worth every penny. Used with Lm primer and powder it looks good. I hope oily skin types aren't put of by the amount of dry skined reviewers.

I was super excited to try this powder as my skin can look like a greasy frying pan without the correct powder over my foundation. the girl at the counter suggested this , I was curious but a bit scared as I like full coverage and this just isn't at all. although I didn't experience any shine all day which is great it made my foundation crack up and break up on my face, leaving my foundation colour blotchy with white patches. I really didn't enjoy this product and for the price tag no no no it's not good at all. I feel that you get a really small amount of product that's not great. I'm not liking the packaging of LM maybe it's just me being fussy!

Scrubs -Simple - Oil Balancing Facial Scrub

actually shocked nobody seemed to enjoy this product, I have combination oily skin and very bad acne. I've tried so many scrubs, all felt super harsh on my skin like rubbing grit over your face and left my face red and sore! this however, is so gentle you have to scrub it in rather harshly. and then wash with warm water, used this twice a week for about a month - I love it. I often get a few flakey bits on my face which looks crap when putting make up over it but this helps smooth out my skin and wash those bastard black heads down the sink ! :) LOVE IT . cute little tube perfect for travel, a pea size amount goes a long way.

I asked one of the mac make up artists for a foundation to use for oily skin and full coverage- I have bad acne and she said this would b great and matched my colour! I was excited to use it , and well , it may b the water base and my oily skin but within 2 hours it slid off and looked like a Cakey, oily mess! I used the sponge and fingers an tried brush and still didn't like the effect on my skin maybe it looks beautiful on others but I wouldn't suggest for acne skin and oily skin as it doesn't sit on the skin it slides ...

I am a massive foundation obsessed girl, always on the search for the prefect foundation to make my skin look flawless and near to perfect. I have AWFUL acne scarring and acne prone skin, it's oily. I've used double wear for a while which is fab but makes my face look dull and too Cakey. I've loved mac studio fix fluid too but I felt it broke up on my face after a long day and looked worse than without make up which is bad!!! so I've tried this for a while and I love it makes my acne skin look flawless and feels so soft ?! I think using fingers is the best way to apply , for me it's the only foubdation I've ever used where I don't feel the need to use powder. My only con is that the coverage isn't "full" and you have to work with it fast or it will dry n look like a mess !!

lets start of with saying that my skin is achne prone and fairly oily during all seasons. I had heard amazing reviews about this foundation even on oily skin! I picked up a bottle which is fairly expensive. Loved the neat packaging it looked very classy. The screw lid meant loss of product but it didn't matter if the product inside was amazing. With high expectations I applied the foundation over my primer and set with a powder the colour was fine. throughout the day my skin because so greasy it made my oily skin 50x worse even my boyfriend & dad said I looked oily ! It even started to slide of my nose and chin ! Ewwww. I didn't give up and kept trying it out for 3 weeks, it's just awful. The coverage isn't even good either : looks great at first then HELLO AWFUL SKIN. I'm sticking to my Estée Lauder and mac foundations . Although I do adore the nars lipsticks , when it comes to this foundation I will not buy again my bottle is in the bin because it made me look crap!!! Please don't buy it's expensive and not great coverage . Other foundations out there which are wort the money
