BB Cream -The Body Shop - Moisture White Shiso BB Cream SPF 25 PA+++

I have dry/combination skin which tends to looks less than smooth under most foundations (Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua foundation ($70) and previous ones I've tried). I walked into the Body Shop looking to buy their mineral foundation powder which I have used before, but it never gave a flawless, glowy finish like this BB cream does. One pump is enough for my entire face, and with TBS pale pink highlighter powder, this foundation looks lovely and natural. I am VERY pale, yet this foundation does not look chalky, settle into fine lines (under my eyes), and lasted a long night out. It does need to be set with a power for me; just to make sure it stays in place and doesn't get too glowy as the day goes on. I live in Australia, and the 25+ SPF rating is great and it stays on even in 35C+ heat. It looks lovely with a sweep of highlighter on the cheekbones, and TBH red lip/cheek stain. It's a great price and will last at least 6 if not 8-9 months. Here in Aus I bought it for about $40-45, so it's a great deal. It does only come in one colour, but an assistant said they would most likely be releasing a range of colours if this product is successful. Go into TBS and ask an assistant to try it on you- if you don't like it there is no pressure to buy it, but I think you should try it as it looks lovely and natural on everyone I know who wears it!

This soap, and all the other scents, are AMAZING! It's silky and luxurious, without containing tallow/sodium palmate so it doesn't immediately contribute to animal cruelty. Love it, and iHerb.com stocks quite a few of the soaps, with free international shipping now too : ) It bar lasts AAAAGES, so next time I'm buying every scent before I buy a lifetime supply haha

Liquid -Chanel - Vitalumiere Aqua

This is great for my skin which is somewhat dry; but make sure to use a primer as it can help it look more flawless. I use rosewater spray for this purpose and a WET stippling brush. This is the fastest most effective application for me. It doesn't do well under/over the eye and tends to crease, but stays put all day and looks healthy and natural. Not sure I would buy again because it price is a bit ridiculous in Australia, but it should last me a year or so, so I'm happy. UPDATE This foundation is less than natural and flawless for me now; it gets cakey and oxidises - maybe its just not my perfect colour. However the formulation highlights pores and it fades away after a very short time - I wouldn't recommend it. I've now got the Body Shop BB cream which is a lovely, natural, creamy foundation with great staying power - a must in the Australian heat and with long days at work/uni. Chanel doesn't employ ethical practises regarding their treatment of animals; they test their products on animals, use ingredients tested on animals and use animal derivatives in their products. They are ridiculously expensive too. I suggest trying TBS range of BB creams and mineral foundations; they have been much more effective for me in the past and most are Vegan (however I acknowledge that their owner, Loreal, is less than ethical; yet this compromise works for me for the time being).
