I am so distraught. What I thought at first was instant love has turned into disaster. FLAKE CENTRAL. What is happening? I personally think the product applies like a dream and I love the dark intense black ("Blackest Black" shade) but the formula is crazy. I checked on my eyes a couple hours after applying and noticed small black flakes on my lids. How did they even get there? And then... a few hours later, an entire chunk was missing. No clue where it went -- but I didn't even touch my eyes. This is just pathetic. I second what another reviewer wrote... I look like a hot mess!

Polishes -Sally Hansen - Beyond Perfect - Almond Essence

This polish is a fine neutral polish. I do like it, but I wouldn't buy again because I'd rather try a new one (read: this is not my HG neutral!) In the bottle, it looks muddy, which for fall '10 I am definitely looking for. However, on the nails it is a much sweeter, pink-looking beige, rather than a muddy beige. Application is nice, though takes 2-3 coats to get an opaque finish, plus it is a bit pearly which makes the application a tadddd streaky, if you are picky about that. Overall, I'm glad to wear it, and happy to have it in my collection, but no raving from me!

Polishes -Sally Hansen - Wine Not

I've had this polish in my collection for awhile, given to me by a friend, and never really felt like wearing it, because most dark vampy shades make me look deathly pale. finally decided i should try it, even though it seems a bit christmassy, and OMG -- AMAZING. deep, sexy, a bit metallic, but not so dark that you can't tell it is a burgundy (it's not one of those shades that is so close to black that in most lights you can't tell). After drying without topcoat, it dulled down a bit and wasn't as luminescent as it was at first, but still gorgeous. I love holding a glass of merlot with this on my nails.

Bath Treatments -LUSH - French Kiss Bubble Bar

I liked this scent in the store, and really like lavender. However, once I got it home and crumbled it into my bath, it smelled SUPER peppery (very masculine). I cannot stand the smell! It also produced very few bubbles compared to the other bubble bars.

I have the roll-on version of this, because I like to be able to control the amounts of perfume I put on myself (I easily get headaches from perfume). Definitely a fruity floral, which I LOVE. I guess I can understand how other reviewers are saying this is not a unique scent necessarily, but I personally don't have any scent like this yet, so it's not a negative feature for me! The bottle looks like a 15 year old girl would fall head over heals for it, and I just wish it was a little more sophisticated. The roll-on is less gaudy and can pass as feminine hippie rather than pop star mania. I love this scent and would definitely repurchase. It is fun and wearable and smells like an actual person (if that makes sense).

Eye Shadow -MAC - Circa Plum Pigment

I got a surprise sample of this from the best swapper ever, but it isn't my favorite color. It is more mauvey than I would choose. To me it looks gorgeous in pigment-form, but it just kind of disappears once it is on my lid! :[ I still use it and will probably finish up my sample eventually, but this wouldn't be something I'd go full-size on.

Brows -Anastasia Of Beverly Hills - Anastasia Brow Gel

This product stays "wet" for awhile and makes my eyebrows look horrendous! You can definitely tell I did something -- and whatever it was, it was a bad idea. After awhile, this gel makes my brows get extremely crunchy and hard as rock. It doesn't "tame" my brows, per se; It allows them to go haywire in all sorts of directions and then will not under any circumstances allow me to put them back where they belong! Ugh. So icky. I'd rather just buy cheap drugstore-brand clear mascara. Bourjois does the trick.

One question: Why is the packaging the PRETTIEST bright purple, when the liner itself is a dark purple closer to black? If I buy a purple liner, I'd sort of like it to look purple when I wear it. Sigh. It really is a disappointing eyeliner, color-wise and I have the full size of it! Merde.

I have "Classic Romance" and I seriously LOVE it. I didn't know one's armpits could smell so good... I've never actually finished a whole deodorant stick without giving up on it and switching to a new one, but that quitting streak is about to change! I'm almost done with this stick and when I'm through, I may just have to try "Sexy Intrigue." I was at Kitson LA recently and there were some candles that smelled like my armpits. That means someone wants their room to smell like my deodorant! How can you beat that? (Plus the packaging is so sweet and feminine!)

Eye Shadow -Lancome - Color Focus Kitten Heel

This is my favorite pink all-over lid color. I have almost hit pan on this (yes, I have the full size), because I can never resist adding it to my everyday looks ... every day! It is extremely shimmery (the shimmer is gold) but is is just beautfiul, especially with a plum color (MAC's Sketch works perfectly) in the crease. I will definitely repurchase this when I finish it!

My favorite chapstick! I have very dry lips from accutane, and this lip balm does the trick! Plus it is adorable. The way you slide up more product is with the little plastic bee on the side. The width of the lip balm is nice for quick application, and the product is perfect. I love my pure Swedish beeswax! :] EDIT: I just finished my first tube of it and ran out IMMEDIATELY to buy a new one at CVS. I can't believe how affordable it is for the quality -- and .11 oz!

Brows -Anastasia Of Beverly Hills - Mini Brow Kit

This set comes equipped with just three Anastasia items. My favorite by far are the tweezers. They aren't pink like the ones with their own review on MUA -- they are silver and they work better than any tweezers I have EVER had! The kit also has a Mini Matte Highlighter in "Camille." I use it every now and then, but I am not in love with it at all. Finally, there's the Mini Clear Brow Gel. Now I really like brow gels, usually. Trust me, my brows are unruly! But this gel doesn't do it for me. It makes my brows sort of wet and REALLY looks like I put gel on them. I can't control this product, and I'd rather just stick with my cheap drugstore clear mascara. Ick. The packaging of everything is SUPER cute and I love having the little set. No regrets there!

I bought this polish on a whim at Walgreens one night, and I am so happy I did! A deep orange, perfect for fall. The formula is excellent; it goes on so smoothly and without streaks thanks to an excelllllent brush! A nice cream nailpolish that really complements my skintone (fair with olive undertones)! I am crazy about this polish.

TERRIBLE color payoff. These are my favorite shades to wear, so I immediately wanted this duo out of all of the ones offered. Now I refuse to buy any of the other HIP duos because this one hardly shows up!! "High Intensity Pigment" my foot! This is ridiculous.

Treatments -Sephora - OPI Drying Drops

This product comes with two caps! How thoughtful :] ... I always leave mine with the screw cap on, and then when I need to use it, I replace the screw cap with the dropper cap (not sure if that is necessary). I wait a few minutes after applying my top coat and then drip out 2 drops per nail and within 10 minutes I could smack my nails against the table (which happens more often than I'd like to admit -- so clumsy!) and you would have no idea. It is so much fun to actually be able to MOVE within the first thirty minutes of my at-home manicure. The product leaves a shiny film along the outside of your nail which is unattractive, but it seems to come off after a bit of time. Will repurchase when I finish the bottle.
