Mascara -Cover Girl - Lash Blast 24 HR Mascara
rated 4 of 5

Really surprised with the low rating for this mascara! I have tried SO many mascaras over the years, from the cheapest to most expensive. This one I would re-buy again and again. It holds the curl in my lashes, adds length and volume and stays all day. :)

Masks -LUSH - Brazened Honey face mask

I am still undecided on this mask. I have acne-prone skin, but for the most part it's fairly normal. I do have an issue with blackheads and clogged pores. When I put on this mask it was very exfoliating and somewhat harsh when trying to spread it on my face. It's very clumpy and looks really gross. However, when I washed it off (left it on for about 5 mins) I noticed immediately that it had lifted the gunk clogging the pores in my nose right up! I put on a nose strip and when I removed it.. it was insane how much crap it pulled out! Normally I don't have that result, so I know it was the mask that I owed for that. My nose looked a lot clearer, so I think this will become a normal treatment for me! So far, this mask is great at pulling up the impurities.. so I think I would rebuy!

Hair -Unlisted Brand - MACADAMIA NATURAL OIL Deep Repair Mask
rated 5 of 5
macismycrack627 1/6/2013 11:12:00 PM

Absolutely the best hair mask I have ever tried! My hair was super damaged a few months ago from a hairstylist bleaching the sh** out of my hair. It was breaking off SO bad. I tried the It's a 10, but it didn't help the condition of my hair. Then I switched to try this one... wow! In less than a week my hair went from being brittle to being soft and looking SO much better! I used this every other time I washed my hair, so 2-3 times a week. It smells amazing, too, which I love. I used an entire jar of this over about a 6 month period, then repurchased another jar about a week ago. This is a god sent product for my bleached hair. Highly recommended! The only downside of the product is the jar, it's hard to open with wet hands in the shower.

Bronzers -St.Tropez - Self Tan Bronzing Mousse
rated 4 of 5
macismycrack627 12/6/2012 11:32:00 AM

Okay - so this is a review for the regular mousse (not the bronzing one) - in the smaller bottle. I bought this for $30 at Sephora, and got the mitt for it too. When I got home, I showered, shaved, exfoliated and then applied this before bed. It took a couple minutes to dry, but I was very glad that it didn't transfer on my sheets at all! When I woke up, it looked like I had been at the beach for a week. Lovely color, very natural looking! The ONLY drawback to this stuff is that in ONE application I used almost half the bottle! Freakin ridiculous! And this stuff is supposed to be a ''daily'' mousse.. or at least meant to be used a couple times a week. How the heck am I supposed to make it last more than two applications?? I took it back to Sephora the next day and got a refund. The product is great, but I felt totally ripped off.

Shampoo -Paul Mitchell - Tea Tree line
rated 5 of 5
macismycrack627 8/14/2012 6:01:00 PM

I am extremely picky when it comes to hair products! I have tried SO many different shampoos and conditioners, ranging from Suave to Moroccan Oil. I have to say, I am in LOVE with the Paul Mitchell tea tree line. I use the volumizing shampoo and conditioner. I love the way it smells! It does keep my hair looking thickened and beautiful. Also, my favorite part is NO product build-up!! I have been using this for the past two months, and normally my scalp would be full of build-up and would be greasy feeling. Not anymore! I will re-purchase this, which is a FIRST when it comes to shampoo and conditioner.

Shampoo -Paul Mitchell - Platinum Blonde Shampoo
rated 5 of 5
macismycrack627 8/14/2012 5:57:00 PM

I bought this for around $12. I was looking for something to tone down the brassiness in my hair. It DOES work! I use it twice a week, and I definitely notice a difference. My hair looks brighter and more blonde. I usually leave it in for about 7-10 minutes.

Cleansers -Simple - Cleansing Facial Wipes
rated 5 of 5
macismycrack627 8/11/2012 10:40:00 PM

I used to use the Neutrogena makeup remover wipes, but have switched over to these because they're a little less expensive AND do a better job! I love that they don't make my face red or irritated, and do a good job at taking off my makeup! I have repurchased quite a few times, and will continue to use these!

Self Tanners -Clinique - Self Sun face tinted lotion
rated 4 of 5
macismycrack627 8/11/2012 10:33:00 PM

I like this self-tanner. I was using the one from Dior, which is nice, but didn't give me enough color. This one can look a bit orange if you're not careful though. Definitely don't use it everyday. I use it every other day, and make sure it's evenly applied. I wait 15 minutes before applying any other moisturizer or makeup. My face is finally even with the rest of my body, so I'm happy! I would probably buy this again. I love Clinique's skin products, and I love that this one doesn't smell bad!

Concealers -MAC - Pro Longwear concealer
rated 5 of 5
macismycrack627 7/26/2012 12:47:00 AM

Holy Grail concealer! If MAC ever discontinues this I am going to be SO mad! This concealer is amazing. It's like a liquid foundation consistency, blends like a dream, covers up redness and marks, never looks cakey or un-natural... everything I look for! No - it won't cover up your freckles, no it won't cover up a birth mark - it wasn't made for that. If you want something heavier, go with the Studio Finish concealer. I love using this for undereye area, because it doesn't settle in the lines under my eyes. I also have some co-workers that use this as their foundation. I haven't tried it myself, but I do find that once I'm done covering up what I want to cover, most of the time it's all over my face anyway... lol. I just wish the packaging was different. The pump is hard to regulate if you want less than a full pump of product, and once it gets down to like 20% product left the pump just stops working so I have to scrape it out into a sample jar or just go ahead and B2M it.

Lip Treatments -MAC - Prep + Prime Lip
rated 5 of 5
macismycrack627 7/26/2012 12:40:00 AM

Can't wear lipstick without this product, and I suggest it to everyone I know! I've tried lip balms and chapsticks and none of them do what the lip primer does for me. I have extremely chapped lips most of the time, because I wear lipsticks all day at work. After the lip primer - problem solved! It moisturizes my lips and helps my lipliner go on smoothly, my lipstick last longer and keeps color from bleeding out around my lips. No more dry, chapped lips for me! I will always repurchase this.

Mascara -Yves Saint Laurent - Mascara Singulier Nuit Blanche (waterproof) - Vibrant Black
rated 4 of 5
macismycrack627 2/14/2012 3:38:00 AM

I am really surprised this mascara has gotten some bad reviews! I have tried SO many different mascaras over the years, and I have finally come to the conclusion that I will never stray from YSL. I LOVE Faux Cils, but I don't like that it isn't waterproof. So I decided to try this one. I have average lashes, not too short and not too long. They don't like to hold a curl at all, and they aren't very thick. In a mascara, of course I want to have sky high lashes with volume and curl. This mascara gives me that! I can put it on in the morning, and at night my lashes still look amazing. Yes, it does leave my lashes a bit brittle feeling but I honestly don't mind. I use Almay eye makeup remover pads (the ones in the blue container) and just gently wiggle it under my lashes. It takes a minute or so, but the mascara does come off. It's worth the extra time, and I don't lose lashes most of the time. I will definitely repurchase.

Mascara -L'Oreal - Voluminous False Fiber Lashes~Waterproof
rated 4 of 5
macismycrack627 10/29/2011 1:17:00 AM

Ok - so I normally can't stand L'Oreal mascaras. I tried the regular Voluminous in the waterproof formula and reviewed it and gave it high marks. Well, I went to purchase another tube of the same mascara and for some reason it wasn't as good as the first tube? Didn't get the same results.. strange. Anyway.. on to the review for THIS mascara. AMAZING! I love my YSL Faux Cils mascara, but at $30 a tube I just couldn't keep buying it. I saw this one advertised in the drugstore as ''faux cils'' - so I said.. what the heck? Let's try it. So glad I did! I get the same results with this mascara that I do with the expensive YSL one, and even better that this one is waterproof! Makes my lashes full and long, and holds the curl all day!

Liquid -Chanel - Vitalumiere Aqua
rated 4 of 5
macismycrack627 5/31/2011 11:25:00 PM

Overall, I think this foundation is fantastic. I LOVE the finish that it gives, and the lasting power is great. The color match (B20) was a little dark on my NW20-25 skin... but would have been perfect for summer. The squeeze bottle is a little frustrating sometimes, and the product doesn't come out easily.. you have to cap it again and shake it. I wouldnt purchase this again, though, because of the smell! I just can't stand this perfumey Chanel smell in their products. I love Chanel, don't get me wrong... but I hate rubbing old lady perfume smelling foundation on my face. It makes me sneeze and irritates my sinuses. =(

Conditioner -Nexxus - Humectress Conditioner
rated 4 of 5
macismycrack627 4/29/2011 2:08:00 AM

I pair this with the Therappe shampoo and it's a great combination! This conditioner does what it's supposed to. It's a bit on the pricey side at around $17 but a little goes a long way. I just need a very small amount to work through my ends and it leaves my hair really soft and manageable. It also doesn't weigh down my hair or leave it feeling greasy. I would not repurchase though, as I think I can find something better.

I really like this shampoo a lot! I am really picky when it comes to shampoo and this has really saved my hair. I had a stylist bleach the crap out of my hair (she messed up) and it left my hair in a really dry condition. I bought this shampoo from Kmart for around $10. It smells delicious! The scent lingers in my hair, too. It does a great job leaving my hair soft and shiny.
