I wore this to my wedding! I usually just wear balm, but I wanted a MLBB for photographs and this fit the bill. Though I'm very fair with blue eyes, my lips are naturally a pretty dark pink. Lipsticks that are muted with light coloured creamy pigment look strange on top of a darker lip, so the slightly brownish shade looked most natural on me.
This works, even on my fine stick straight hair. I wouldn't be able to skip a shampoo otherwise. I liked the scent, too; I wonder if they've improved it since some of the more negative reviews were written. It is a light, powdery coconut scent, not unlike Herbal Essence 'Hello Hydration' conditioner.
I think this product is great for spots. It covers and stays. I apply it with a brush over foundation and set it with powder. If I had more spots (hope I never do *knocks on wood*) I might re-buy, but it's just horrible under the eyes - cakey and settles into fine lines. Between that and the inconvenient packaging I give it an average rating. I would still recommend it for fair girls who get more than the occasional spot. FYI - you don't have to buy UD's sharpener, I bought Sephora's $4 professional dual sharpener with and it works perfectly.
Too good to save for just the babies - everyone should try it! It smells lovely - a musky powdery lavender that is very soothing. Not too strong but it stays on the skin. It makes lots of bubbles though they do fade somewhat quickly. I use one capful for an adult-size bath ;)
This is a really great formulation at this price point if you find a good colour match. It has a decent SPF, builds easily and covers well. I read a few of the negative reviews, and I think the problem is actually the crappy sponge. It grabs way too much product. Try using the Sephora compact sponge, or even your fingers, to apply the product and see how you like it. Your compact will last longer that way too.
LOVE This colour, hate the texture. It isn't silky and is too shiny. Plus, it takes a while to build. What the heck, Nars? You're supposed to be a class act. I'll look for a dupe at MAC next time. Side note: I like the packaging. I'm convinced the rubbery exterior protects the pressed powder from shattering - like a cell phone cover.
Styling Products -TRESemme - tres two extra hold hairspray

HG hairspray. I have long, fine, straight, colour-treated hair. This is the perfect spray to set front layers or your fringe - it will hold all day but won't turn to cement. I have two of these huge bottles in my bathroom right now and have gone through dozens more. The scent is inoffensive and fades quickly. Try it, it's cheap.
Moisturizers -Jurlique - Herbal Recovery Night Cream

It has a pretty rose scent, but other than that it's completely boring. Not particularly moisturizing, nor does it include any exfoliating or anti-aging ingredients as far as I can tell. It hasn't made any discernible difference to my skin. There are much more exciting products at lower price points available.
Moisturizers -Ren - Hydra-Calm Global Protection Day Cream
m331 1/11/2013 1:25:00 PM
A "protection day cream" without SPF!? What is this, the 70s? A completely basic, boring moisturizer that leaves an inexplicable white film. To be fair, it did not irritate my sensitive skin. The problem is it didn't do anything *for* it, either. Skip it.
Treatments -Neutrogena - Healthy Skin Anti-Wrinkle Cream

I've gone through two tubes of this product, but it's a "like" not a "love." It does make skin smoother and I think it's a good introduction to wrinkle creams, it's just very subtle. I'll look for a more sophisticated formula next time, maybe with BHA or AHA.
I never really understood the point of a toner but I got this one as part of a set. LOVE IT. Perfect for dry/normal/combination/sensitive skin. It moisturizes, removes any makeup residue, and immediately improves skin's appearance. It's the most calming product I've used. I'll definitely buy again.
Cleansers -Olay - Sensitive Skin Foaming Face Wash
m331 1/11/2013 1:10:00 PM
My HG face wash. I love trying new products so I tend to stray, but I always come back to this. I have very pale sensitive skin with mild rosacea-like symptoms. This takes off all my makeup without irritating my skin. I use it once a day in the evening. It rinses easily without a washcloth.
Shampoo -L'Oreal - Nutri-Shimmer 2 in 1 Shampoo & Conditioner
m331 1/11/2013 1:05:00 PM
This a review for the shampoo, not the 2 in 1 formula. I've liked all the L'Oreal shampoos that I have tried, but this one is my favourite. I have very fine, long, straight, colour treated hair. I shampoo the roots daily, but the ends can get dry with the wrong products. This works beautifully. The scent is gorgeous and the formula is gentle.
I adore wearing this fragrance, but the bottle is garish and I feel silly buying a celebrity product. I am willing to overlook these things because it is such a lovely warm scent.
A nice thick conditioner. This Shampoo/Conditioner combo really made my blonde, highlighted hair shine! I like the smell of the Pantene line too. Only good things to say!
