Just bought this product, tried it and I do like it, problem is I came to found that this damn retractable pencil does no go back down. That's plain dumb. Now I can't close the cap and if I do I'll smudge the tip onto the cap. Need to find a way to keep this fresh.

Moisturizers -Aveeno - Ultra-Calming Daily Moisturizer SPF 15

I know I can't really review on the product since I've only used it for the past two days but I do want to say that it moisturizes my skin beautifully, it's kind of a thick texture but does not feel heavy. It almost feels as if I didn't put anything on my face and it even looks like it. Does not make my face shiny one bit which I like. The perfume smell I actually love, but if you don't like any type of strong smell in your moisturizer this is not for you. Took one lippie off for the reason being that it's $15. But as long as it works fine for me and gives my skin what I need then I'm all up for it. I'll do an update after a month of using.

Eyeliner -Wet 'n' Wild - Magalast Retractable Eyeliner

HORRIBLE PRODUCT. I usually research review of everything before I buy but I had forgotten to check a good drugstore eyeliner. I had little left from my budget money and decided to get this. It's not dark enough I have to keep rubbing to get an okay black, and the first time I opened it it was already broken so I lost a big chunk of liner. DO NOT BUY THIS. Don't get me wrong, Wet 'n' Wild has some great products that are very inexpensive but not just don't try this.

UPDATE: Today marks week 7 and I' pretty content with my face. It's not the best I still have little break outs but not as many at once I only have 2 at the moment and are mostly gone. I have A LOT of scarring due to my purging on my right cheek but I cover it with my makeup so it doesn't bother me for now. I just want to get my face cleared up and I'll treat the scars after. I have seen some peeling going on around my breakout areas but that was just one day. Honestly I'm glad that my face was able to tolerate the medication and didn't become a mess. I broke out worse than ever before but not bad bad, but for me it was since I was used to having clear skin. Experienced irritation a couple times while washing my face, experienced dryness only once and peeling once. I have an appointment on the 28th just to have a check up so my dermatologist can see how my face is doing. Let's see what he says.. I'm hoping he'll prescribe me something to start treating the scarring. Skin Care Regimen: AM: -CeraVe's Hydrating Cleanser -Burt's Bee's Citrus Facial Scrub (Use it either morning or night, whenever I feel like my face needs it) -Aveeno Ultra Calming Daily Moisturizer SPF 15 PM: -Purpose Gentle Cleansing Wash -CeraVe's Hydrating Cleanser -Wait 30 minutes and apply pea size if RAM -IF NEEDED, I'll wait an hour an apply CeraVe's PM Moisturizer only to dry areas. Everything I'm using is Dermatologist Recommended except the Burt's Bee's but it is natural with no harsh chemicals so that should be good. So far so good with my experience with these products while on RAM, first time using them all.

Masks -Unlisted Brand - Milk of Magnesia

Let me start off my saying that I'm not sure if it's the way I'm applying this to my face but I haven't seen a difference. I've been using this for 2 weeks and my face is still oily at the end of the day. I'm really bummed because I wanted to love this product so much hearing from all the positive reviews M.O.M has controlling oil so I was excited to try it along with Monistat Chafing Gel. My face still gets super oily as normal, nothing's changed. I apply it with a brush but I'll try a different technique on applying it hoping it will work. I need something to control my oil but for now this isn't working for me, sadly. Probably it's the moisturizer I'm using that's still making me oily? Hmmm, I don't know.. UPDATE: Today was the day that I only blotted once and did not touch up at all. I'm so happy! Honestly I was losing hope. I was just going to finish the Milk of Magnesia up because I just didn't want it to go to waste and never buy again. But today I saw a difference. I believe the moisturizer I was using before was making my face oily even when using MOM. I bought a new moisturizer only because I had finished my old moisturizer and ended up buying Cetaphil's Dermacontrol Oil-Control Moisturizer Spf 30. At first I was bummed because I was originally going to buy CeraVe's AM but Target didn't have it and I went with Cetaphil and when I got home to read the reviews on the moisturizer, they weren't that great. So when applying my makeup today I wasn't expecting any changes on my oilyness. Gave the moisturizer a minute or 2 to set, applied MOM with a brush gave it a couple minutes to really set, applied Monistat and let that set. I leave the house around 8 and by 9 I already feel my face oily but today the only time I blotted was around 11 but honestly I didn't even need to blot I just did because I thought my face was oily which turned out to be more of a nice dewy glow. I'm guessing all along the moisturizer I was using was being a pain in the butt but I'm glad that I found the solution!

Styling Products -Aussie - Heat Protecting Shine Spray
rated 3 of 5
lyshernan28 4/28/2012 8:02:00 PM

I needed a heat protectant, and a cheap one since I'm on a tight budget. I was using the John Frieda Frizz Ease Heat Protectant which was great but wanted to try something new. This heat protectant was okay, sadly. I've noticed a lot more split ends with this. Yeah it smells good and it makes your hair soft after blowing drying but it was not protecting my hair from the heat, hence the bunch of split ends on my sort of freshly cut hair. Sad, sad, sad.
