Eyeliner -Elizabeth Arden - Smoky Eyes Powder Pencil

I was seeking a less harsh liner look, defined but more soft. I remembered Lancome having their powder brow pencil and then looked around for a smooth powder like soft but deep liner - and thought a powder based was what I needed ( of course I still use my BB gel liners and LM cake liner wet..but these look harsher on my 50 yr. old eyes. I found this..well rediscovered this as I kind of thought EA may still carry this pencil and happy I did find it. I sampled the colors: midnight a deep tealish navy color and gunsmoke, a deep charcoal near black. I went for gunsmoke. It was wearing on my hand as I was playing around the m/u counters and it stood the test of wearing well after wiping testers off my hand the gunsmoke color was still there. It looks so soft yet defined. I do not have gaps on my lash line when using this like with my others as it goes on with ease and feels like a soft pencil liner - no drag at all no tugging like when I use regular pencils, and I've tried many liners...from gel liners to pen liners but this is the best as far as a nice flattering look goes w/o harshness. It stays on great too. I like the sponge tip on the other end if you desire a smoky eye. A++ Nice switch for me..hope more cosmetic lines come out with powder liner like this!!! Ps: do not let 'powder' in this liner make you think it's powdery or messy b/c it feels like a highly soft pencil liner going on...the tip stays sharp too.

Bronzers -Chantecaille - Chantecaille Capri Powder Bronzer
rated 5 of 5

The best in my opinion of all the bronzers..it's great for the light skinned gals like myself. I'd totally agree with the other reviewer saying it's a fleshy peach shade ..but that's better then a muddy bronzer or terrcotta orange which most are like to me. I apply it lightly over my blush and it makes it warm up-it's more like adding warmth to my face..some color all year round. Great quailty of course..it's a nice line. This is not too dark- I see no shine or shimmer [good for my older skin] yet I like some shimmer use it but not a cheap shimmer or a cheap glow...I've always been picky with shimmer. I add a glow myself separately to my face - it's not needed really in a good bronzer (to me ). Cannot loose on this great bronzer so many rave about on here and on other sites...more pricey then most bronzers of course b/c it's a 'high ender' but I do not it use all the time so it will last. The feel of the pwder is very good quality not chalky like many. Try it..you will love it betcha ;)

Blush -NARS - Amour

Hands down the prettiest peachy pink no shimmer blush on the market..I have tried them all!!! I'm light skinned and I can wear this warm or cool.. I'm older so I do not care for high shimmer I like to apply my shimmer separately or be choosy in my selection with shimmers and NARS has many with too much glittery shimmery stuff going on IMO. but this one is not that way made for about everyone but dark skins where it may not show up. It is not too deep or to light so I do not have to worry about that as with some NARS are too deeply pigmented.LOVE This NARS Amour blush makes me look natural and I always get "your skin is beautiful" comments when I wear this as lends is a natural look..a healthy look from within...and not too pinky. I feel it is the nicest blush he carries..the BEST.

Blush -Bobbi Brown - Blush - Pink Rose

I'm fair and BB Pink Rose powder blush is a really pretty and a very natural looking pinky-rose blush as it is true to it's name! I have many of the BB pinks, I thought "Slopes" was nice until I applied this. It just comes off more of a natural flush, and does not sit on top of my skin, it blends in well. It is not a bright blush for that "pop", it's not light or too deep as some look in the container. I think it's a blush everyone should have on hand who is light to fair in color and even medium skin tones as well can wear this in my opinion because it is such a perfect basic pink rose without being too much pink or rose. I would buy this again but it will take me a long time to use it all up as I use several other BB pink shades.

Candles -Yankee Candles - Mistletoe

A lovely scent used all year long for me as it is very refreshing and makes me feel calm, it is similar to a Christmas tree type scent as a few people have said when they walk into my home, but I enjoy that any time of the year. As some get relaxed with lavender types this one is my aromatherapy. I buy the smaller jars as the throw is so good on this scent, because the smaller jars fill a certain area of my home instead of the entire place as I'd hate to impose on my family member my likes. There are a few other nice Christmassy-type scents by Yankee like this, but somehow I like this one best as it's less imposing. I just hate it though when Yankee goes ahead and discontinues some REALLY nice candles. I miss a few scents they yanked off the market in hopes they return one day. Will repurchase!!
