Lip Gloss -Revlon - Colorstay Mineral Lipglaze - 535 Eternal Blossom

This one was an impulse buy, I've been out of lipstick for a while and happened to walk by this. I really like it, color is very pretty, peachy/pink goes on somewhere between a lipstick and a thick lipgloss. It reminds me a lot of products such as CG outlast or other similar ones however my biggest problem with those is the way they wear (you know what i'm talking about either cant get it off, cracks, looks dry or after few hrs of wear the dreaded lip ring where it looks like you've applied liplinner with no lipstick lol). This wears very pretty, doesn't dry right off find it stays kinda tacky on my lips for a while good pigmentation get the shine of a lipgloss with more depth of color you'd find from a lipstick. If your not eating or drinking it will last a few hours before you need to put on another layer. Thing i like best about this is it wears naturally, once it starts to wear off it looks more like just a flush to the lips. For the price / what i was looking for this is a winner.

Well i have dry skin and no i'm not a dumb a** i know the bottle says for normal to oily skin but i was having a hard time getting off all my long wearing makeup and been wanting to try this. Yes it is to drying for someone like me who already has dry skin, however it breaks up longwear foundation better than anything i've used (granted no i haven't tried the expensive makeup removers which i'm sure work really well but i'll be damned if i'm paying 30-40 to take off my 30-40 $$ makeup). Really i use maybe a pea size drop not a full pump that's overkill it really lathers up very quickly without having to use a lot of product. If you have dry skin and decide to use this i'd recommend using it at night and to make sure you use a good moisturizer.

wow some mixed reviews on here about this one .... I personally liked it. It's very thick cream, i only use it at night (says it can be worn under makeup, tried that .... ummm that's a no.) I didn't get any breakouts and seems to help keep my skins moisture in balance. It did take me a few nights to get the hang of how much to use, use to much you get, best way i can think to describe it is a film and if you rub your hand against your face little wax balls. Really just takes a small amount i think it helps create a barrier on my skin so it doesn't get dried out. Downfall is i guess i want miracles lol, i didn't notice any improvement in firmness or decress in lines. I think the overall texture of my skin is better though. I'll use the rest of the jar for sure, i would repurchase unless i find something better.

been wearing this for about 10-12 years i just love it! First off who ever designed the bottle A+, gold star you get a cookie!! so sexy and fun. This is pricey but its so strong you just need the smallest amount, therefore a bottle will last me almost a year great bang for the buck if you ask me. I get asked all the time what am I wearing how good I smell :) it lasts all freakin day what's that saying you get what you pay for.... undersents on this for me are vanilla, rose and sandalwood, its sweet yet musk. You've got to give this a try (not for those who enjoy "delicate" sents)

Well not a lot to say but save your money what a junk foundation this is, at least that's my opinion. First off i love thick consistency makeups but my goodness should we just call this glue .... i couldn't get this to blend to look natural at all coverage was so so which doesn't even matter when you look like chalk face. also it burned my face after a few hours of wear, shade selction is poor. it has a pump... which is good and about the only good thing i can think of to say about this ..... needless to say it was RETURNED!

Ok I'm torn about this product although i didn't rate it all that high doesn't mean it won't work for you, i've got finicky skin. Lets go over what i love and hate about this product. Twist, self locking pump awesome idea .... if it worked well it kinda "splurts" out the makeup which for what almost $40 (think that's how much it was can't remember exactly) it should work properly maybe mine was defective i don't know. Texture is really nice this for me was a little more "wet" of a foundation than what i'm use to wearing, i'd say medium consistency. I one of those that applies foundation with my fingers so you may get different results if you apply with makeup brushes. Liked the coverage for me it was almost medium coverage. Got it in the lightest shade NP1 i think is what it's called, which is very fair i probably should have gone one up for my skin tone. Made my skin look flawless with a natural / satin finish, really really like the finish on this makeup here's where it goes wrong for me i could not get this to set to save my life tried everything i could think of, tried a different face lotion, tried with primer without primer, loose powder, pressed powder just couldn't get this stuff to stay put! For me that in it's self was a deal breaker, although confirmed by the fact that within serveral hours after application this would settle into every furrow line in my forehead and tiny crowsfeet by my eyes come on i'm only 29 it's not like i'm a wrinkled mess. Perhaps this sets better with a different application technic (i'm not willing to change mine).

Powder -Cover Girl - Simply Powder Foundation

I adore this powder been using it since i was about 15 so 14 yrs now LOL stick with what works i guess. I enjoy a medium to full coverage look, this provides and extra layer of coverage over my foundation. I find the lightest shade 505 works best for me, enough color to be natural without looking like you put white rice powder on your face (which is my main issue with other CC powders). I personally love the sponge applicator, however if it's to much coverage using a powder brush works really well too. The only other shade i've used is the 510 which typically gets worn in the middle of summer when i'm at my darkest. Tried many other powders throughout the years (mineral powders / Revlons CS powder - which i hate by the way, odd since i love that foundation) and always always come back to this one. If your looking for extra coverage you should give this a go, for the price i haven't found anything that compares.

Liquid -Smashbox - Studio Skin 15 Hour Wear Fdt.

LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! this does everything a long lasting foundation should do. This is a nice thick formula, yes it does dry quickly so work in sections, coverage is amazing its medium coverage buildable to full without looking cakey. It truley will last all day, transfer free! only one real issue is color range, i'm fair and find the 1.1 just a little to dark with not enough pink untertones, i guess the 1.2 is suppose to be more suitable for pink undertones .... anyone actually try it i can't find a review or swatch on the 1.2 shade. Yes it's what i consider a little on the pricey side put worth every penny. I live in AZ so i hope i get a little darker so I can wear this in the summer when we hit 110 degrees b/c i have no doubt this will not melt on me. Photographs beautifully no white cast at all!!! that in itself is a miracle. Smashbox you just need to come out with a 1.0 shade for us fair ladys..... if you're a 110 Ivory in Revlon CS or use the lightest shade of foundation i'm afraid this will be to dark which is a shame b/c it's a wonderfull product.

Liquid -Revlon - ColorStay Makeup
luv4strawberry 3/18/2012 1:30:00 PM
I use this in the normal / dry skin formula. This is by far the best drugstore foundation out there. Use to be 110 Ivory which is awesome for us pale ladys, got a little more color now and am using 150 Buff. Medium coverage find this easy to blend, no crack or separation. They recently changed it to claim it last 24 hrs, sorry thats load of crap however it does last a good 8-10 with no problems. I wouldn't call this "transfer free" however it stays put pretty nicley its not just going to wipe off. Great product for the price, only draw back is the open top design why why why doesn't every foundation just come with a pump! I saved an old Smashbox Studio Skin bottle and put the Revlon CS in that so i could have a pump and stop wasting so much product. Overall this is my go to drugstore foundation.

Liquid -MAC - Pro Longwear Foundation
luv4strawberry 3/18/2012 12:57:00 PM
This is my first Mac purchase, I read tons of reviews and seems you either love Mac or hate it ..... I hate it. This is going to be promptly returned. I first went to get samples, they matched me as an NW20, buyer beware this foundation does not play well in natural light!! NW20 looks just fine in the deptartment store light wow was i suprised to step outside and see what i can only describe as pink paint on my hand! I was also given a sample of NC15 so thought what the heck i'd give that a go. Color seemed to match better so i ordered it online as the little samples never seem to be enough for me to really try it out. It's more of a light coverage wouldn't call it medium and had a heck of a time trying to make it a medium coverage with out it looking awfull (not to mention this is a pain to blend). I have dry skin and within eight hours this made my face a greasy mess. I seriously was able to wipe off all the foundation with a tissue yuck!! i used a primer set it with powder normal routine my skin has never reacted like this to a foundation before. Not only that but now i have four new zits ... lovley .... I really just don't understand how this has such high reviews i've tried Smashbox's Studio Skin (which i LOVE, no breakouts, easier to blend, better coverage, better color) with no problems besides their lightest shade 1.1 is still a little to dark for me. I found the NC15 a pretty good match in color but same thing as the NW20 step out in natural light and this foundation looks like a whole different color ......... For $30 it's not worth it back to Revlon CS (which im a 150 buff in just for reference).
