Lip Gloss -New York Color - Big bold plumping lip gloss

This is a decent budget lipgloss. As everyone has mentioned, the wand is huge! It's a bit disconcerting at first, but really doesn't affect application. The gloss itself is thin. It's not sticky and not terribly long-lasting, maybe 2 hrs max. I have three colors; coral, red, and purple. These are sheerer than I would like. They give the barest hint of color, but still noticeable and pretty. The smell/taste is an odd sort of vanilla. It's not that bad and fortunately doesn't last. I actually did notice a mild plumping effect with the gloss. There's a subtle tingle that lasted a good 10 minutes on me (sort of like what the inside of your mouth feels like when you're chewing cinnamon gum). It didn't make the lip area red, but my lips looked fuller. This occured with all three glosses I tried.
Conditioner -Dove - Daily Treatment Conditioner, Intensive Repair

I quite like this conditioner but I'm not a fan of the shampoo. The Dove Intensive Repair Shampoo makes my hair feel coated. Adding the conditioner doesn't help. However, when I use the Dove Intensive Repair Conditioner with another shampoo, particularly one designed for volume, my hair feels and looks great. It's bouncy and my split ends look mended. I have good hair days whenever I use this combo. I would like to try more products in the Dove hair care line.
Lip Treatments -Neutrogena - Revitalizing lip balm

I am a tinted lip balm junkie. I've pretty much tried them all; Nivea, Burt's Bees, Yes To Carrots, Cover Girl NatureLuxe, Maybelline BabyLips and Revlon LipButters. Recently, I received a few of the Neutrogena Revitalizing LipBalms and I've been wearing them exclusively for almost a week. On the positive side, they are really good treatment balms! They are a nice weight on the lips, not too slippery but they do feel like they stay on for a while. It has an "exclusive moisture complex" and ingredients such as lanolin. My lips are definitely in good condition because of the Neutrogena. On the negative side, these are very sheer. I realize that might not be a negative for some, but for me, it is. The darkest one I have, Sunny Berry, barely shows on my lips and Petal Glow just looks like shimmer. The tube is also an oval shape, not a round one, which I don't particularly like. It's a bit awkward to apply. Finally, in my area, these retail for about $8 which I think is quite high especially if you compare it with something like BabyLips which usually goes for $3. Fortunately, Neutrogena often goes on sale and you can usually find some coupons. I give it a solid 3 lippies for Its ability to keep my lips moisturized.
As its name suggests, this is really good for "brightening" the eye area. If you're only looking to camouflage really dark eye circles, you might want to try a different concealer. This product is reminiscent of YSL Touch Eclat down to the formula and packaging. I got it in Fair which is a bit light for my NC25 skin, but I can make it work because of the consistency of the formula. The concealer itself is thin and provides some light coverage. The formula contains good for you ingredients such as soy, Vitamin E and chamomile which is suppose to help depuff the eye area. I don't have a problem with puffiness, so I can't comment on that. The magic of the concealer is the optical brighteners that highlight the areas you need to, such as the inner corners of the eye and the browbone. The effect is subtle but noticeable. The packaging is an elegant silver tube with a clickable brush at the end. It's easy to use and the brush places the concealer right where you need it. This is great for a refreshed, natural look. I find myself reaching for it more and more. Would definitely repurchase.
Primer/ Corrector -RoC - Brilliance Anti-Aging Face Primer

I like the way this primer works. It makes my skin look smooth and virtually poreless and it does a good job of holding my makeup in place. I also like the idea of the e-pulse technology with the copper ions although I've never felt any tingle nor do I fully believe the hype. Unfortunately, if I use it for more than a few days, I start getting breakouts. I usually have a problem with products that contain a high amount of silicone and this definitely does. Probably won't repurchase.
Yeah, this is terrible. It's smudgy, flaky, and provides no lengthening or volume to the lashes. I never understood why all the makeup "experts" in magazines always picked this mascara as a must-have. Strangely, the Lots o Lashes mascara works pretty well for me.
This is a really great eye liner! It's a retractable, automatic pencil with a smudger at the opposite end. The point of the pencil is fine, so it's easy to draw a thin line close to the lash line. You can also draw a thicker line with the side of the pencil and use the smudger to soften it. I got the Cosmic Black, which is a deep, true black. It stayed put all day until I took it off at night. No problems with removal using regular cleanser or with sensitivity (I wear contacts). No cons with this one. Looking forward to trying different colors!
Lip Treatments -Carmex - Moisture Plus Ultra Hydrating Lip Balm

I have this in pink, plum, and berry. These are great for a slight wash of color and a rush of moisture. There is a light, unobtrusive vanilla scent which disappears almost immediately. The tube is a thin and elegant and the product itself is very soft, not waxy at all. The lipbalm doesn't last too long on the lips, maybe a few hours before reapplication is needed. Best part is they're dirt cheap! I got mine on offer and I think they were about $1.50 each. The only downside is they're a bit difficult to find.
I like this one, but I use it as a finishing powder over tinted moisturizer. It gives me a nice natural dewy finish. I don't know if the swirls of green, yellow, and oink really do anything, but the overall effect is nice. The brush, as usual, is useless, except in a pinch. I use a full coverage kabuki brush for application. The regular price is expensive, but PF can always be found on BOGO sales or with coupons attached to the boxes. I think I got this one for around $5 on sale.
Meh. Works to brighten my skin but makes me look greasy by the end of the day. Also not very good as a primer. Makeup slid right off. Benefit products are so cute but really expensive, particularly for the amount of product you receive. No repurchase.
I received this as a gift and love it! It's sexy and well-composed and I feel so elegant when I wear it. Definitely a fall/winter perfume. It might be a little much for day time wear. It's perfect for dressing up and going out for a night on the town.
