Mascara -Talika - Lipocils
rated 4 of 5

I am using lipocils for 2 months now and my lashes have grown 1mm. Visually I don't notice any difference, but the measurement shows that there is a little improvement. It did irritate my eyes for the first weeks, but then my eyes got used to it.

I admit to being very picky when it comes to mascara..well this didn't pass my standarts for a keeper. It's not bad, it gives black, glossy lashes. Neither length nor volume are impressive. Actually my lashes looked a bit stumpy. I don't like this rubber wand either. Sold it to a colleague for half the price, she finds it to be an ok mascara. But I'm looking for one that's fantastic!

Mascara -Helena Rubinstein - Lash Queen Sexy Blacks

I think the cute packaging might be the reason why this mascara is slightly overhyped. The initial result after application is nice, no clumping just tidy, pretty lashes (I'd prefer more dramatic). I can't say much about it's curving properties because I use Dior Maximizer which makes and holds the curve with any mascara I apply. But there's a thing that makes me hugely dissapointed in this mascara - the flaking. It's worse than any other mascara I've ever tried. I would be glad to sell it to a friend, but on the other hand I wouldn't really recommend this to anybody, left alone my friends.

I love to experiment with new products and am SO HAPPY that I relied on reviews here and bout this product. It is one of the few things I will actually be repurchasing. I have amazing hair days when I use it, hair is soft, shiny and manageable. I wash my hair every day, and use this every second day. I LOVE IT! It helps to keep my hair healthy and as I am growing it out that's a lot - I only need to revisit my hairdresser once in 3 to 4 months. Definitely a keeper!

Moisturizers -Bioderma - Hydrabio Riche for dehydrated and sensitive skin
rated 5 of 5
lueta 9/9/2011 2:14:00 PM

Super! I love everything - the packaging, the application (sinks in so nicely), the effect is so moisturizing and my skin glows. Very good for sensitive dehydrated skin. I'm a fan of Bioderma Hydrabio line! Affordable and effective. I prefer this to Shiseido (gives me allergy), Kanebo (feels to silicony), Kenzo (too mucho frangrance) and most of every other creams I've tried.

Toners -Bioderma - Hydrabio Moisturizing, toning non-rinse lotion for Dehydrated & Sensitive skin
rated 5 of 5

I agree with the previous reviewer - also for me this is the best toner I've used. It smells so fresh and nice, I'm loving the smell every time I use it. It's slightly hydrating, cleanses off make-up residue well, highly recommended by my cosmetologist and doesn't cause irritation on my sometimes overly reacting skin. I have repurchased 3 or 4 times and will again in the future.

Mascara -Christian Dior - DiorShow Maximizer Lash Plumping Serum

Wow wow wow! I'm getting quite skeptical the more beauty products I buy, but this is my HG! It's rare for me. The effect is probably not that dramatic, but it's such a nice primer! It curls my lashes and holds the curl all day (my shu uemura curlers are left untouched) and it's not a bitch to remove (like Shiseido was, though more dramatic). I don't know about the lash growth, but it does condition nicely, my lashes are healthier. It's a staple, I can't imagine applying a mascara without it.

Moisturizers -Clarins - Daily Energizer Cream
rated 2 of 5

I was disappointed with this moisturizer. It glides on nicely, has a beautiful packaging and that's about it. It is not moisturizing enough for my dry skin (even in hot Greece summer it wasn't enough) and it also has kind of strong scent, my skin got sensitive to that and started acting out. I still have some blemishes, even though i switched to a pharmacy moisturizer as soon as I developed allergic reaction to this. Could be fine for normal, not too sensitive skin, but not for me.

Toners -Clarins - Extra Comfort Toning Lotion for Dry/Sensitive Skin
rated 4 of 5
lueta 9/9/2011 1:50:00 PM

I like this one! It's gentle on my skin, smells soft and nice. A good toner, nothing exceptional though, just very pleasant. I'm a huge fan of Bioderman Hydrabio toner, that's a bit cheaper, so I might switch between these two. 4 lippies not 5 because it's a bit overpriced.

Lip Gloss -Clinique - Long Last Glosswear SPF 15

Very very sticky but quite long lasting compared to other lip glosses. I use Mystic which looks good on a light, cool toned skin. But honestly I use it only because I purchased it on a whim. I hate my hair sticking to a lipgloss. Yuck!

Liquid -Nivea - Beauty Lift [DISCONTINUED]
rated 5 of 5
lueta 10/30/2010 7:40:00 AM

Wow! This is an amazing discovery! I am used to buying high-end foundations, such as Lancome, Dior, Kanebo but I decided to try this when my stylist recommended it and suggested a tone that suits my skin really well (040, my skin is cool toned and light). Dirt cheap and since I have finnaly found the right shade, it looks better than any other foundation I've ever tried.

Highlighters -BeneFit Cosmetics - High Beam

I love it! It has a silver sheen in it which compliments my cool complection. The sparkle is not too obvious just the way I like it. Makes me glow in a not too obvious way. I really wish it was cheaper though - I don't think it's such a complicated product with expensive ingrediets.

Styling Products -Paul Mitchell - Super Skinny Serum
rated 4 of 5
lueta 10/30/2010 7:29:00 AM

This serum is pretty good. I've recieved compliments on my hair when using this - it helps to straighten, smoothes and adds shine. A little bit to thick for my liking (this is where I prefer Kerastase's Oleo Relax).

Toners -Elemis - elemis soothing apricot toner
rated 5 of 5
lueta 10/30/2010 7:24:00 AM

I really like this toner! I have been dissapointed with Elemis products before - the Maximum Moisture Day Cream caused an alergic reaction, but this toner is great! It doesn't irritate, cleanses the residual make-up very well and leaves my skin nicely refreshed.

Cleansers -Elemis - Soothing Chamomile Cleanser
rated 3 of 5
lueta 10/30/2010 7:20:00 AM

Is is said on the packaging that this cleanserdeeply cleans and effectively removes make-up. This is not entirely true because it always leaves a great deal of cleansing to do for the toner. On the plus side, it is indeed suitable for sensitive skin and doesn't cause any unpleasant reaction. I like that it makes my skin feel soft after the cleansing. Having said that, I will not repurchase because there are much more effective cleansers out there in the market.
