Is it possible to develop Stockholm Syndrome for a perfume? Yes, I say. A college roommate acquired a 3.4 ounce bottle of this, from a male acquaintance I believe, and alternated between this and Warm Vanilla Sugar as her daily frag. I've never been a Juicy fan, so on name alone I groaned at the thought of the perfume, and whenever she sprayed it my nose wretched in horror. Fake grape! My most hated artificial fruit flavor! What a terrible perfume to share a room with! Then an hour later, something magical always happened. Those icky grape notes dissipated, and the scent of vanilla and sandalwood permeated the air. It did remind me of something my grandmother might own or wear, but in a good, classy sort of way, not a Youth-Dew-Overkill way. My grandma doesn't do Estee frags. Today I too have a 3.4 ounce bottle of Couture Couture on my dresser. I think the grape lingers on my skin longer than it did on my roommate, but otherwise it is magic. Or maybe that's what my nose has been conditioned into believing, Stockholm Syndrome style.

Cleansers -Neutrogena - Oil-Free Acne Wash Pink Grapefruit Facial Cleanser

Horrible and drying product. The only redeeming quality is the color and maybe the scent, but I'd rather get those from a bottle of grapefruit juice. Actually made my breakouts worse too.

Lotions/ Creams -Aveeno - Daily Moisturizing Lotion with Sunscreen spf 15

Bought this on a whim at an A&P in Ocean City, NJ. Was on a trip and realized I left all of my toiletries at home, including body lotion and sunblock! This product appealed to me because not only was it a body lotion, but with the SPF it could also double as a lightweight sunblock. The product fulfilled its duty and I liked it (well, not the smell too much - it does smell a bit like sunblock, but it's very faint), but when I got back home I suddenly had almost a whole tube left. Luckily my mom was more than happy to help me use the rest up. Now we're having a tough time finding the tube in stores, and we've only seen the pump at CVS and Walgreen's. Also it's too bad they only make a <3oz tube of the regular Daily Moisturizing lotion. Other than the difficulty in finding the smaller tube, great product!

Lipstick -Revlon - Rose Velvet

This was the first lipstick I ever bought for myself. I grew up with a mom who is very conservative when it comes to makeup color. After trying the FLIRT! lipstick she bought me at Kohl's and being disgusted with it, I knew that we had very different taste in lip color. I don't remember the shade but it made me look like I drank chocolate milk and forgot to wipe it off my lips. I went to CVS determined to find a decent MLBB lipstick with some color in it. After some deliberation I ended up bringing this one home. Oh, how anxious I was to try it! What if it looked awful and garish? Thankfully it looks awesome on my lips. Apparently many MUAers agree! My mom thought it was a little "loud" though :)

Polishes -OPI - Fair Dinkum Pinkum

Hm, I didn't have any streaking problems at all. This color is almost sheer, so maybe that's why. Or maybe it was the brush. Usually creamer, more opaque colors come out streaky but this does not. It's almost opaque with one coat. By the second coat it's opaque enough, and I didn't notice a difference with a third coat. The hint of glimmer is kind of unique, almost like snowflakes, not the typical shimmer. The color is basically a blue-based medium pink, a nice light color for spring.
