This product is NOT for oily skin!!! I don't understand the hype, but kudos to those that this product works for. I have oily skin and this was like putting more grease on top of my natural grease. I even used a tiny bit and let it soak in for 5 minutes. It was greasy to the touch. I did not notice any difference with my pore size. I do think this product would benefit people with dry/combo skin or even dry skin, but steer clear if you are oily.

Powder -Make Up For Ever - Duo Mat Powder foundation

I use this to set my HD foundation. I apply it with a kabuki brush and it looks good. I have oily skin, so this provides a nice matte finish. I still have to use my oil blotting sheets throughout the day, but I find that the make up does last most of the day.

Foundations -Make Up For Ever - HD High Definition Foundation

Overall I like this product. I used Estee Lauder Double Wear Matte for years, but noticed that it started to turn orange on my skin. I guess this was a combo of oil and the chemicals in the product. I went to MUFE HD foundation to avoid this and so far I'm pleased with the product. I use the 120 color and I find that the pump works great. I put 2 pumps on the back of my hand and use a stipple brush to apply the foundation. It has good coverage, but I then go over it with a cosmetic sponge to make sure that all is blended well and then I use a kabuki brush and use the Duo Matte MUFE power foundation to set my make up. This provides a very matte look which is what I need due to my large pores and oily skin. I still have to use oil blotters (about 3-4 per day) but I find that the make up lasts a long time even through this. I would purchase this again.

This product is NOT for oily skin types. It did nothing to help with my pore size. It was a layer of grease on my skin. After an hour I looked at my face and it was so gross. Six (6) Clean and Clear oil blotters later and I looked normal again. This product also cost me $45 plus tax. YIKES!

Overall I'm really liking this product. I have VERY OILY skin, so I was a little worried that this would crease in my lid and look like a hot mess. I've been pleased so far and I even eneded up buying more colors on Ebay. The cost is not too bad costing about $13 at Ulta per pot of color. I found them a few dollars cheaper on Ebay $9-$11 dollars per pot. I do understand that they can be messy to work with. I find that a little goes a long way and you really have to tap the brush into the minerals then swirl it (I use the top of the mineral lid) and then tap it again to get off any extra pigment. You can build the color up and it is more time consuming to apply the eye shadow, but I would say that the colors blend so well and they do not settle into my crease that is is worth the extra time to me. I do use Estee Lauder double wear eye shadow primer underneath the shadow and throughout the day I use Clean and Clear Oil Absorbing Sheets to mop up excess oil on my face. All in all I'm very pleased with this product and would purchase these products again.

Polishes -Creative Nail Design - Shellac UV Polish System - 14-Day Wear

I am now just writing a review on Shellac because I wanted to get several Shellac manicures to give an honest review. I started getting Shellac manicures in April 2011. I was told that the Shellac manicure would last 14 days without chips and would remain shiny. I am pleased to say that after about 6 Shellac maincures they really do last 14 days (sometimes longer!!) My nails are super shiny and when I leave the salon I can get on with my daily activies without the fear of messing up my polish. The top coat lasts and lasts. I've even hit my nails on things thinking for sure that I would have chipped a nail and to my suprise they still look great. My most recent Shellac maincure was so cool. I got all my nails, except the ring fingers, done in the gray color and then my ring fingers were done in the black color. I had the sparkle top coat put on top of each nail and then the clear top coat for that extra shine. It is subtle with the black and gray, but a cool change from the normal maincures that I usually get. Next time I would consider doing all my nails expect the ring finger in black and then do the hot pink color on my ring fingers. I remove the Shellac once my nails grow out so much that it starts to look like I need a "fill" like when I would get gel nails and they would drill them down and back fill them. There are no fills nor drilling done with a Shellac manicure. Shellac a gel is placed on top of my natural nail which is painless, the Shellac gel cures in a UV lamp for about 5 min. Also, the removal is painless. I use pure acetone that I purchased at Sally Beauty Supply (a large bottle was around $5). I soak my nails for 10-15 min. and then use an orange stick to gently scrape off the Shellac. As for prices, the salon I go to charges $35 for a Shellac maincure and they charge $10 to remove the manicure. I decided to remove it myself and save the $10. I love this product and would never get my nails drilled again!

This works great for my chapped lips. It leaves my lips soft and well moisturized. It works better than any other lip product I have used. I would say it is pricey, but a little goes a long way so it is worth it since this product works so well. Goodbye dry winter chapped lips, hello soft kissable lips!!

Misc Beauty Tools -Clean & Clear - Oil Absorbing Sheets

I have very oily skin and these sheets work great! I cannot say enough about them. I usually go through 3 a day a work and it keeps my face looking fresh. I use to get so tired of applying more powder and looking too made up by the end of the day. Now with these sheets I use my powder at the end of the day if I'm going out. **NOTE** I use Estee Lauder Double Matte Foundation and these sheets and they work wonders for me. I have been looking for years for wonder product and these tiny sheets are always in my purse.
