Pressed Powders -L'Oreal - True Match Super-Blendable Powder

Not going to lie, I'm down right loyal to my MAC Studio Fix Powder Plus foundation in C4. I always had the hardest time trying to match myself with a drugstore brand. I either look to rosy or too brown .... Very unfortunate. Well, loandbehold, while digging through my make up stash I came across this little guy, unopened in W4... ***DEAD RINGER*** I swiped this on and was so relieved to have found a drugstore dupe! It's a great alternative to MAC, although the product goes very quickly. (I found a Sonia Kashuk Kabuki works wonders distributing the product.. PLUS it's available at Target for a steal! Only 12.99. Found mine in the clearance for $6, just a heads up.) Total must for beauty on a budget! :)
Cleansers -Formula 10.0.6 - Best Face Forward Daily Foaming Cleanser

Bought this looking and hoping for a froathy face foaming cleanser, unfortunately it takes WORK to get to the foaming portion of this cleanser. Broken spirit, but not broke, I decided to keep up with the cleanser and after about two weeks worth of washing (I prefer to use it in the morning as a wake up thanks to the delicious scent), I can see a HUGE difference in my complexion! I have oily skin and this doesn't completely dry me out, it honestly feels like a layer was cleaned off and my skin doesn't feel tight or dry. Its fantastic! **I do moisturize with Olay's Active Hydrating Cream afterwards** The scent is what sold me (along with the enticingly inexpensive pricetag). Packaging was great for the gel formula, personally I like to store mine upside down to avoid leakage.. definitely something to give a shot, nothing to lose!
Brows -NYX - Eyebrow Cake Powder - ECP02 Dark Brown/Brown

THE BEST! I was blessed with patchy dark eye brows that when waxed, were way too thin, and when grown out, are just etrocious. I've been filling them in for years and have found NYX browns to be the most accurate shade for my needs. I was a fan of the brown in the Champagne and Caviar palette to fix my issue (which is still fantastic as an alternative, although there is some fallout since it is an eyeshadow) but I stumbled upon this godsend just a week ago and couldn't be happier! The product was super affordable and the colors are phenomenal for brows. My eyebrows are dark brown/black but my hair is naturally light brown, this powder makes my eyes softer-looking while still drawing attention to them. The brushes that are included aren't bad, but I did decide to use my own (POSH Brow Brush). Just a little dip in the wax and a light swipe of color is all i needed to achieve the desired look. Great for filling in and the wax has excellent staying power for a drugstore product. This will definitely be a repurchase! It's a must have for day to day and especially special occasions!! *LOVE*
After hearing so much about this moisturizer and using other Origins products, i decided to bite the bullet and give it a shot. What was the worst thing that could happen $35 later, right? Welp, I initially LOVED this product... however, we didn't end on a good note. The tint in the moisturizer wasn't exactly flattering on my skin, it came out a little more orange than I was expecting (I was hoping for more of a neutral glow if that makes sense). But then again, I only used it in the morning before applying my make-up so it wasn't too big of a problem. Initally the scent did bother me, but as days went on, I did grow accustomed to it. I guess it was just something to get used to as time went on. The smell was just a little too sweet. Personally, I prefer unscented products, but due to the fact that this has no harsh chemicals, it was worth getting used to. Lastly and most unfortunately, it did aggravate my skin after about 2 weeks worth of using. Once I managed the issue however, it was fine to use, but only one to three times a week max. When using this product - be sure to wash your hands right after! The tint will rub off onto clothing!
