Lip Treatments -eos - Smooth Sphere Organic Lip Balm in Honeysuckle Honeydew

BLEH! Considering that I've tried many many chapsticks, lip balms, lip butters... this one sucks. It only moisturizes my lips for like two minutes, that's it.
I'm in love with the color and texture of this lipstick. It is a true pinky nude and the picture above represents it quite accurately. Perfect for everyday, but also complements smokey looks. However, I won't repurchase because: - The scent is too strong, in my opinion - I can't stand the taste of it - & L'Oreal cosmetics tests on animals! I'm really disappointed because I thought MAC's Blankety would be a good dupe for it but turns out it's lighter than Fairest Nude. I DON'T want to repurchase because I refuse to support any company that are not cruelty-free, but I'm soooo sad I can't find a dupe for this amazing color! :( If anyone has any suggestions, pleeease let me knnooww! **Edit: I've finally found a dupe! MAC's Faux, in my opinion, is very very similar but slightly has more pink than Fairest Nude which I love. Though Faux is a satin finish, which has the tendency to be a bit drying, I still prefer its consistency as Fairest Nude can sometimes be so creamy that it looks milky on the lips.
I have never used a true nude lipstick and never intended on trying one. Found this at the CCO and decided to purchase it because when I swatched it on my hand, it looked like a nice shade of peach. But when I got home and tried it, everyone started laughing at me because it made me look dead LOL. Although, the texture was nice, I believe this is a satin finish. And it was very pigmented. Of course I don't want to waste the tube and I find that it works well when layering something over it, such as MAC's Strange Potion or Revlon's Coral Reef.
Amazing bronzer! It's the perfect color with the right amount of shimmer in it, so it gives a great glow to your cheeks. I don't use bronzers to contour because my face is too small already, lol.. so I often use them as a blush instead or to give my face some color. I love this bronzer more than Nars Laguna & Stila 01 bronzer because this comes off as a true golden brown, perfect for my NC25-NC30 skin tone. Definitely NOT orange like the Stila one and not too dark/muddy like Laguna. I got this as a free sample that came along with a set from QVC, but when I run out I will definitely repurchase even if it's quite on the pricey side. Oh, and I believe Tarte does not test on animals, which I love :)
I'm not really into reds because I get a little shy wearing it. I feel it's too much of a bold color for me to pull off. BUT Viva Glam Cyndi works for me :) I'm NC25-NC30, yellow undertoned, dark brown hair with pigmented lips for reference. It's definitely wearable for the daytime, not just night. It's not too drying but I still recommend applying a lip balm under. It's a lustre finish so it can be built up to the intensity you prefer. It's more of a muted, subtle red I think and it's not too out there. I had to take off 1 star because the lasting power isn't that great. It is hard to find now since it's discontinued, so if your MAC counter still carries a few.. just get it!! It's really worth trying, you'll love it!
I love MAC, but hate their face products! I've had MUA's at other counters and Sephora say the exact same thing. Use anything you like from MAC, but stay away from their foundations. Supposedly it has some ingredient in it that's really bad for your skin and clogs your pores. I think that's why many people break out from their foundations, including me.

There's something about MAC face products that always tend to break me out. Weird cuz I don't break out from using different products.
So I bought this on Ebay for $35 because I really wanted it in my collection. But I regret it. Love the color, but it was just waay too shimmery for me. I'm trying to make it work and use it as a highlight to give me a glow. I layer it on top of mac eversun and it looks good, perfect for summer. Still.. it's not a must have. It's very dupable. I wouldn't repurchase if it gets repromoted.
Misc Beauty Tools -E.L.F. - Mechanical Eyelash Curler

i bought a pink and black one from eyeslipsface.com and i honestly thought they were going to be the same but for some reason, the pink one works better than the black one. maybe i just got unlucky with the black one, but this eyelash curler (the pink one) is amaazing. i have uncooperative eyelashes that uncurls after a minute, won't stay curled after mascara is applied.. etc etc. but with this eyelash curler, oomg. my eyelashes stays curled ALL day, no lie. and it gives it the perfect curl too! i gave it a 4 because the other eyelash curler didn't work so well and also because the packaging is kind of bulky. it stays wide open the whole time and i can't fit in my makeup bag.
i loovelovelovelove korres lip butters. i have jasmine and quince as well, but this pomegranate is my fave! because it gives just a slight tint to my lips. quince is slightly darker than my natural lip color so i wear it at night when i go out, when my lipsticks fade and don't feel like reapplying. jasmine is alright, a sheer pink, and honestly not worth the hype it gets on youtube. but i love how the lip butters really moisturizes my lips. i used to use those dollar chapsticks from walmart and although they would work, it didnt last very long. these last a long time and i love how it has really helped with my super chapped lips!
Primer/ Corrector -Clinique - Pore Minimizer Instant Perfector

I must have really really huge pores compared to others that have reviewed this product but this doesn't work as good as I hoped. I tried putting a little at first.. tried alot.. but it doesn't really 'minimize' the appearance of my pores.. the large ones at least. If you have small pores then this product will work for you. I would repurchase it just cuz it slightly hides my smaller pores and it's pretty cheap considering that its from clinique. But I'm still looking for something that will hide my larger pores... =(
