love this. it's a gray, charcoal black... goes with any smoky eye i wanna do, i usually use on the lower eyelids, since i tend to use shadows like carbon, suspicion, and print on the upper lashline. it's not as dark as, say, smolder. but i use it when i don't want to do an eye make up (as RARE as that is)... i just line my inner eye lids to perk 'em up and darken 'em.
been using the same stick of SMOLDER for 3 years now, it's almost down to the nub, so i've repurchased. i use this almost daily to line the inner rim (i use carbon on the upper lids as a liner) and it's my every day eyeliner. love it. perfect black. one of my daily MAC products.
mmm.... i spritzed this on my neck and wrists at sephora whilst browsing and could smell it hours later at my desk while at work. it's a powdery, soft, crisp and citrusy soap smell... sweeter than all other versions/editions of clean. smells like fresh linen. i spray it in my hair and even at night, if run my fingers thru my hair, i still catch a whiff. it's very soft, and very clean. heart this times a million!
i am a MAC-a-holic, and i only use MAC for all eye products (save for DiorShow black mascara from time to time), and this and carbon are my day to day shadows. jest is a shimmery peachy pink that i apply to the brow bone as a metallic highligher. it's gorgeous. i go through a pan every few months b/c i use it almost daily, with the 224 brush. it gives a sexy sheen and metallic sparkle against smoky eyes, with i do daily.
i use this in my inner corners and lower last line when i do a dark smoky eye just to add a pop of sparkle and unexpected color. a beautiful sparkly corally shade that looks fab paired against darker colours. i don't need to repurchase - but would- b/c i use it sparingly with the angled brush just to give me a suprise colour treat. bee-you-tee-full!
brown down is a good neutral brown that goes with more reddish browns like swiss chocolate or b rich (which was LE) or for softer, more basic browns like charcoal brown and symmetry. love it. blends beautifully with its super silky texture. great for brown smoky eyes, which are my signature.
quarry is a go-to purple-brown for me. i use this as a wash and blend it out from the lid when i want to do brown or purple/plum smoky eyes. it's that versatile. i pair it with sketch and blackberry when i do purple smoked out eyes. great as a base, too.
was perusing the aisles of target for some cleaning supplies and other incidentals...had been reading about this line crossing the pond. tested this and candyfloss and promptly bought both. as a lip gloss junkie, this is one of the glossiest i've ever tried. smells like MAC's lip gelees, same consistency, but a bit thicker. and shinier. at a dark club, seeing a rock concert on friday night, was talking to a dude friend who said, 'with lips like that, i expect you to get kissed a lot.' it's the gloss, i tell ya!
My Asian assistant wears Ex$psensive Pink...and I love it on her. On me, oh my god! I was so bummed. It looks brown on me... No pinky tones on my fair skin at all. Sushi Flower, Girlie, Da Bling are better pinks on me. I'm NW20, FYI.
carbon is my fave black shadow ever! i do smoky eyes all the time - plum, browns, pinks, red, blues- and i always use carbon in the mix somewhere. it's great as a liner, too... i think it's a very black black, and i heart it.

For the hefty $30 price tag, I expected a lot more. A LOT MORE. It was moisturizing, but for this price, no way.

while i love the smell - it smells like creamy vanilla pancakes, b/c of the maple syrup, this is too expensive. $22.00 for lotion that doesn't make me super soft and has a smell that doesn't last my way out the front door in the AM? (although my roomie says you can smell me a mile away, that i leave a trail of vanilla) too expensive, doesn't make my skin soft enough...

hot, wet, sexy, shiny, pale pink. a whisper of pink colour, but super shiny. i love mixing it with the new super sticky sweet talk mouth-watering glosses by vicki's secs. love the colour. don't love that it's in a pot (where's the brush? come on, marketing peeps! no finger application!)

sticky like glue. i was picking up some vanilla lace body washes and i saw these little gems. and tried 'em on. whoa. the shine was like melted, wet plastic on my lips, but super duper sticky like glue and marshmallow and syrup. i don't mind it. i got the 2-fer-10 deal and got wild berries and peach. love the smell... and the taste, and the shine. i didn't know they had cherry vanilla or i woulda bought immediately. sticky, thicky, so don't wear on a windy day. but you can't beat the shine. this is the scented, coloured version of MAC's clear lip glass. the colour doesn't show on my lips, so i mixed with shining kisses EVA :) looks amazing.
i got this is my back-to-mac trade. it's a frosty, pale pink with the slightest hint of mauve. it shows up pink on me, and i layered it with spring bean lustre glass or regular clear lip glass. textures is a bit gritty, but i like that. this'll look better on me when i am tan
