A lovely soft brush that makes applying blush really easy. Own two of these, and they're great!

I love these brushes! Make applying eyeshadow so much easier, they get a good amount of product without it falling over your face, and make blending really easy. The travel pouch they come in is really handy too. Pricey here in Australia, but if you look online there's better deals available :-)

A great pack for face make up, although the foundation brush is a bit too small for foundation (I use the RT stippling brush instead), so I use this for concealer instead, and it works a treat. The pack comes in a travel case which doubles as a stand, so it's very handy if you don't have a storage system for brushes, etc.

Makeup Brushes -Real Techniques by Samantha Chapman - Stippling Brush

I LOVE this brush! I have been looking for a stippling brush to apply liquid foundation with for a long time, but every brush I tried was too flimsy and had a heap of fall out. This brush is very dense and doesn't lose any of the fibers, and it's perfect for applying my foundation. It buffs it into the skin really well, and gives a nice natural looking finish. I own 3 of these brushes now, because I love them so much! Pricey here in Australia, but if you look online you can get a much better deal. Definitely a must have.

Makeup Brushes -Real Techniques by Samantha Chapman - Powder Brush

Great powder brush! Picks up just the right amount of product, and applies it nice and evenly. The brush is lovely and soft, and doesn't have fall out (like other brushes I've used in the past). In Australia this retails over $20, which is pretty expensive for a powder brush, but I found one online for $9 which is a good buy. I would recommend.

Great powder for setting foundation, and it doesn't look cakey. Goes well with revlon colorstay foundation.

Blush -Maybelline - Dream Bouncy Blush

I love this blush! It's not available in Australia, but I bought some during a recent trip to the USA, and I love it! It's very pigmented, and has great staying power (unlike other cream blushes I've used). I have the colour peach satin, and it gives a very natural finish. It blends well, and I love it. I don't remember the USD price, but it wasn't expensive. If you don't like blushes with glitter in them, try this one!

Foundations -Revlon - ColorStay Makeup with SoftFlex SPF 6 for Combination/Oily Skin
rated 5 of 5

This is a fantastic foundation! I have very oily skin, with large pores and an acne problem (with acne marks), and this is a great foundation at dealing with all those problems. It has incredible staying power, and gives a very full coverage. It has got a strong smell, but you get used to it. It also dries rather quick, so you have to work fast or work in sections on the face. I find it's best applied with a foundation brush. In Australia this retails at $37 full price, which is pretty expensive, but if you stock up when it's on sale, you're all set. Besides, I don't mind paying more for something that I know works, and it lasts a fair while too. I found my last bottle lasted about 3 months and that was with pretty much every day wear.

Mascara -Cover Girl - Lash Blast

I LOVE this mascara!! Gives a nice length and volume, but the best part is that it has incredible staying power!! Most mascaras flake off and smudge on me, but this one doesn't do that! Best thing is it isn't the waterproof one, so it's easy to remove when you need to. The brush is a bit large, but it's not terrible. It's very quick and easy to apply too. You have to try it if you haven't found your HG mascara yet!!

Liquid -Revlon - New Complexion Oil Control Makeup
rated 4 of 5
lozzie88 7/13/2012 9:35:00 PM

This is a very runny foundation and doesn't have a pump, which would be handy. The thin formula does give good coverage though, and it's very easy to blend. I found it has very good oil control with my very oily skin and large pores. It has broken me out though. I have used it for 3 days now and all of a sudden have a mass of new pimples. Although I like the staying power of this and it's natural finish, wouldn't repurchase because it broke me out.

Eye Shadow -Maybelline - Color Tattoo 24hr Cream Gel Shadow

Very pigmented colors, bought the white gold bronze taupe and pomegranate ones. Packaging nice. Easy to apply. Look nice on... But they don't stay! They crease after a few hours, even with a primer or set with powder. Don't recommend.
