I have to get it out and say that I absolutely do not like the opening of Pink Sugar on me. It smells like a thousand bits of potent licorice decided to have a 3 hour party on my skin. I wouldn't say it is cloying but it is definitely overwhelming, especially if you live in more humid countries. It can sometimes give me a headache if the weather gets too hot... I would recommend spraying this once on cooler, less humid days. For a gourmand fragrance, I find this scent very addictive. I don't know why. I would like to say that it's the fabulous dry down which is a soft and comforting creme brulee but I know it's more than that. There's just something about it that makes me reach my bottle more often than I should.

Lip Treatments -Burt's Bees - Nourishing Lip Balm with Mango Butter

I have tried a lot of lip balms over the years and this is by far my favorite. I'm one of those girls who can't deal with Chapstick. My lips get all flaky and dry after using them which makes me put on more and more. This lip balm is the opposite. It makes my lips feel very hydrated and slightly pampered even with just one application. I use this day and night and the results are fantastic. The smell and taste is divine which is also an added bonus. I would recommend this to anyone.

Moisturizers -Olay - Hydrating Beauty Fluid

For reference, I have dry, flaky, sensitive skin and I live in a tropical country (Philippines). I use this as a night moisturizer after I apply my Pond's Cold Cream and alcohol-free toner. This works for me. My face feels very moisturized and soft. I do not have flakes anymore which I attribute to the cold cream and beauty fluid - it's a good combination. The overpowering smell of roses was bothersome for me but now I'm immune to it. haha. I wouldn't recommend using this in the morning though without supplementary SPF.

Lipstick -MAC - Frost - Angel

This is definitely a cool-toned, frosty-ish pink. I can wear this without makeup by putting on a single layer and dabbing tissue on my lips after.. You can also layer it for a cool-toned, Barbie pink effect. However, I think a smokey eye is best using for Angel. It looks absolutely divine with a smokey brown eye.. like a match made in heaven. I like this lipstick but I don't think this is HG material for me. It really depends on your skin tone, the color of your lips and the style you're looking for.

Blush -E.L.F. - Contouring Blush & Bronzing Powder

Amazing product for a dirt cheap price! The blush looks really natural on my skin. It has a little bit of sparkle for that soft, glowy look. The bronzer can also be used for contouring as long as it is applied lightly. A little bit really goes a long way for this one. I have had this duo for awhile and I love it! Buy this if you want a dewy, fresh look. They aren't matte after all. Great for everyday wear.

Fragrances -Clinique - Happy

I didn't test this perfume before buying it. It's my fault really.. This used to be my mom's fave perfume and it smelled so good on her so I thought it would smell great on me... I was so wrong. It doesn't smell happy at all.. It's "angry" on me. I actually get headaches when I wear this. It smells good on everyone else, I think.

THIS IS LITERALLY MY HG EVERYDAY PERFUME!! It is really hot and humid here in the Philippines so we tend to gravitate to lighter, "happier" smelling perfumes. I have to describe this as a citrus scent with a hint of musk and a tinge of Granny Apple. I LOVE IT! I usually wear this to school and it's really non-offensive and non-intrusive; just clean, fresh, vibrant and a little bit of fun. It doesn't smell too naive or too mature and I get a lot of compliments while wearing this. I really have a lot of perfumes but I tend to go back to this even though I try to branch out as much as I can. if you want an easy, laid back scent, this is for you. :)

Lipstick -NYX - Round Lipstick - Tea Rose

Tea Rose is an everyday shade of pink so it doesn't have that wow factor. However, it can be very nice-looking if it suits your skin tone. I wear this with just foundation, blush and mascara for a really natural look. It also has a soapy smell which didn't bother me before but now, I think it's kinda weird. This lipstick is just so-so for me because there are a lot of better lipsticks out there albeit more expensive. Not an HG product but a good buy! :)

Lipstick -NYX - Snow White

ALMOST true to its name - I kind of imagined Snow White to have brighter lips. :) I use this as a stain because putting it straight from the tube looks too severe on my face. (I'm on the fair side) I don't know.. Maybe I'm not used to really, really dark reds. It's matte and really creamy and has rich pigmentation, which I like. It is kinda vampy but I think anyone could pull this off, if used in moderation. This isn't an HG product for me but for the price, Snow White is definitely a treat.

I am so sad because this doesn't last long on me!!! I need to spritz myself at least 2-3 times a day! I really love it though. This is my favorite gourmand scent and I find myself constantly reaching for this. It smells almost like a yummy purgatory... not quite heaven but almost getting there. Haha. Sorry for the morbid analogy. I really can't think of anything else to add from the other reviews. :)

I am so bummed to learn that this product has been discontinued because I have only tried it out today! I am on a mission to find my holy grail of perfumes and I find this to be surprisingly in the top 10. I'm 20 and my perfume choices have been in the range of D&G Light Blue, Miss Dior Cherie, Incanto Dream and those light, girly stuff. All my friends were raving on how good I smelled. Okay. Not really. I had to ask them to smell me first but more than 5 of them said that Still really suited me, especially the dry down. I had to stop myself from sniffing my wrist the whole day! It's a good perfume to wear to school since it's not overpowering and you don't need to reapply because the scent lasts for a really long time.

Fragrances -Bath and Body Works - Vanilla Bean Noel Body Splash

I was quite skeptical about this because Vanilla Bean Noel smelled like concentrated alcohol and burnt sugar from the bottle. I bought it anyway thinking it was better than Warm Vanilla Sugar (which I was disappointed with). I learned that you have to wait for it to settle which is only a few minutes btw, before it changes into a nice caramel-ly kind of creme brulee scent. I LOVE IT! My guy friend said that it smelled like our favorite coffee shop and proceeded to tell me of his fond memories there. haha. Vanilla Bean Noel is great for reliving happy times with friends.
