Eye Shadow -MAC - Henna (Blonde Brunette Redhead Collection)

I don't have sumptuous olive and so I decided to venture out and get Henna instead. The two colors at the store look like they are dupes. I really like Henna, I think it's a great color. To me I consider it a neutral color, but with an added pop of a little something extra. On my eyelids, it's a sparkly goldish color with the slightest hint of green. The green is not very apparent on my eyelids, but if I pair it with a green eyeshadow it works out very nicely.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Bare Canvas Paint

I've recently bought bare canvas to use as an eyeshadow base under pink tone eyeshadows. At the MAC store it looked like it had a pink sheen to it. When I tried it at home, it just looked like concealer to me, which was somewhat of a turn off because I was really hoping for that pink sheen I had seen at the store. I think the reason paints and paint pots are more prone to creasing are for two reasons: you have super oily lids second reason; you used too much moisturizer on your eyelids prior to application of the paint/paint pots. My little trick to eliminate creasing is after I put on moisturizer on my eyelids, I make sure it's fully absorbed in and I use the back of my hands to wipe off the excess. After that step I apply my paint or paint pot or other eyeshadow primers. I find that I have less creasing after that. I do agree with the reviewer below me that a lot of department store MAC employees do have a snooty attitude, I hope that MAC corrects this problem soon. Especially during our economy crisis, MAC should ensure that their employees behave nicely to everyone. -I'd rather use Untitled paint, I think it's a lot better than Bare canvas. I like Untitled shade much more.

Lip Treatments -Burt's Bees - Beeswax Lip Balm

Burt's Bees lip balm is truly heaven sent. I remember when I first discovered this little gem years ago and fell in love with it immediately upon application. I love the tingle it provides and the refreshing scent. The ingredients are natural which is an added plus in my book. I LOVE Burt's bees lip balm and will continue to buy it over and over. Terrific product!

Eye Shadow -MAC - wintersky

This color looks really pretty in the pan. It's a light frosty pink perfect for this winter season. I fell in love with the color and texture when I swatched it on my hands. The color was so pretty I kept on swatching it. I am wearing it today and the texture is not that easy to work with, although the color is very pretty. I am not sure if the oils on my fingers altered the eyeshadow texture. It's a very pretty winter pink, but I probably would not repurchase because of the texture.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Flourishing - Matte2

I've had this color in my palette for quite a long time without even touching it. In the pan it looks like a very flat dull medium to dark shade of green. I was in the mood for green today so I thought about flourishing. The texture is smooth and very easy to blend. The color does not appear as green on my lids as it does in the pan. It has brown/gray tones with slight hint of green on my lids. I have super dark brown eyes, but with flourishing it makes it look lighter brown. I never knew green would make my brown eyes pop with color. This is a great color from MAC, I would definitely recommend this color to those with brown eyes.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Taupeless (Lustre)

This eyeshadow was included in a special edition palette I bought at a duty free store in Hawaii. Honestly, this is one of the worse shadows ever! The color pay off is extremely poor and the texture is cruddy. I've tried using it a few times and it just would not budge. The shadow seems to be hardened into the palette. I'm not sure if I got a bad one, but the other colors in the palette did not have the same problem.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Phloof! (frost; Hollidazzle)

Phloof is one of my faves from MAC. It's an off white with the slightest tinge of pink. The texture is very soft and blendable. I really enjoy using this in the inner corner(tear ducts) of my eye. This really brings my look together, especially if I am doing a dramatic night time look. This is a must have in my book, I would definitely repurchase over and over!

Eye Shadow -MAC - Sunday Best

This came in the holiday 2007 warm eyes palate. it's a shimmery peach/pink color. It works well as a highlighter, but I think it works really well in the tear ducts to really give an eye opening effect. Even though it's a LE color, if MAC were to bring it back I would probably skip it.

This is the only MAC shadow that has hit the pan from usage that I own. This is a great color to use as a base. The texture is nice and soft. I already bought a back up.

When I saw this color, I knew I had to get it. This color works great on days when I want to go for a lighter look. This color really opens up my eyes. I think this color goes great with shroom and brule.

This color is perfect for the summer season. It's shimmery without the gritty glitter like MAC's Grand Entrance or Stila's Kitten. It's peach sheen shadow. The texture is lovely, it's soft and easy to blend. I'm starting to really like this brand, I think I am going to get more colors from this brand. I'd recommend this color to anyone who wants to add a pretty summer color to their collection.

I was looking forward to buying this eyeshadow, to my dismay this shadow has very poor pigmentation. In the pan it's green with gold sparkles, but on my lid it's a light yellow goldish color with a slight hint of green. It was not what I was looking for. I returned it today.

I really wanted to love this product. The color and sheen is nice, but what kills it for me is the big chunky glitter. I get a lot of glitter all over my face after application. EDIT: I'm not sure if I got a bad one, but the product became cruddy so I returned it today.

Deodorants -Tom's of Maine - Long-Lasting Natural Deodorant (with hops) in Apricot Scent

At first I was a little hesitant about getting this product after the bad reviews I've read. But I really wanted a natural deodorant without anti-perspirint. I actually enjoy the scent, it's very nice in my opinion. I can smell the sweet scent of apricots through out the day. I don't have a major problem with BO, but since summer is nearing I do sweat a little and sometimes there would be a slight faint smell. This deodorant totally tackles that problem down for me. I would definitely repurchase this.

Lip Gloss -MAC - c-thru lipglass

This color makes me look like a zombie. This color washes me out and really makes me look dead. The MAC artist said this is a hard color to work with, well it was true for me. I am glad it works for others though. If you're not used to wearing super pale colors you should try this before you buy.
