Loving this blush for everyday/work. It's a peachy color on my NC35 skin. It has a slight sheen to it, which in my opinion is perfect. I was using MAC mineralized blushes, which I thought left my cheeks with a glowy look. But compared to Smooth Talker, the MAC mineralized blush was just too much. My only complaint is that the blush becomes powdery when you swirl your brush into it. Feels like I'm wasting product. Other than that, I love it. And have been using it everyday.
Eye Shadow -Wet 'n' Wild - 8-pan Palette "Comfort Zone"

I finally gave in and bought Comfort Zone yesterday. I actually went to two different Walgreens and snagged the last palette at the second store. I wore three of the colors today-the three neutrals on the left side of the palette. I opted to use a Clinique e/s for my browbone since the WnW browbone color is a little too shimmery for my taste. I love how the pink bronze color looks on my lids. I prefer to have shimmery e/s colors for my lids since I have hooded eyes. And I used the brown in the crease and the darker red brown as an outer v color. The only thing about the darker red brown color is that the color turned out more black on my brush and my eyes. To fix it, I used another WnW e/s color from the 6 pan palette - vanity something I can't remember at the moment - to make the color a little more brown. It worked. Bottom-line, I really like this palette so far. I can't wait to try the green side. The price is great and really does beat out quite a few of my MAC shadows.
It's a nice metallic berry pink color against my tan fingers. And it does show the orange bronze color in the light and different angles. I actually wish it was the orange bronze color instead of the berry pink. I like it but don't love it so it's going back to MAC.
I've been loving the pigment the last couple of days. I put it over a silver eyeshadow the first day and then the next day I put it over a brown pink base. For both days, I used a dark green eyeshadow for the outer V. It looked gorgeous. I definitely like this better on top of another eyeshadow than on it's own. It's a little pricey for the amount you get though.
Blush -Physicians Formula - Organic Wear 2-in-1 Bronzer & Blush

The blush and bronzed are actually really great. Really natural and found that I can build up the color to my liking. I finished the first duo, which led me to buy the second. However, the second one had a smell to it. I actually went and bought MAC's Refined Golden bronzer to replace it. I just recently went back to Physicians because I didn't want to waste it. The smell is tolerable but I won't repurchase because of it.
I bought this MSF last year when it was on MAC's goodbyes section on the website. I've swatched it on my hand, but never wore it until this morning. I don't know why I've been waiting, because it's such a nice color on the cheeks. I only took the three lightest colors and swirled that together with my MAC 131 brush and swiped on my cheeks. It gave my cheeks a corally rosey color. The great thing about this MSF is that there are four different colors and depending on what color mood you're in, you can customize it. I would definitely buy this MSF again, but doubt I will since there is so much product in it. I'm an NC35 in Studio Scuplt for reference.
This brush has replaced my 239. This brush places color better than the 239 on the lids. The color payoff is much better. I've now been using this brush for dry eyeshadows, paint pots, pigments and smoothing out NYX jumbo pencils. I haven't touched the 239 in weeks.
Loving this blush. Gives my NC35 skin a nice healthy glow that's very natural. Perfect for the summer.
Fragrances -Bath and Body Works - Forever Sunshine

I went into BBW today just to browse. The sales girl asked if I wanted to try this new scent. I said sure and right off the bat, it reminded me of Viva La Juicy, which I love. I have the Juicy, but I'm done to half of it because I use to wear it all the time. Because it's a bit pricey, it now one of those special occasion scents. I left the store, buy went back to purchase the body lotion and spray. Love this scent!
Loving this lip gloss for the spring and summer. It goes with alot of lipstick colors that I have. I layer this on top of MAC's Cute-ster, Jubilee, and Ever Hip lipsticks. This is one of the colors that I think I need to replace when I run out of it. Really nice color and not too sticky. I'm only giving 4 lippies because the amount of product vs the price is a bit high and also when I back to Mac this, I won't have the cute HK packaging anymore.
Bought this because of the package and it was a lovely color in the tub. However, I usually stick to my MAC Julibee lipstick all the time. Decided that I would finally try this the other day and I'M LOVING IT! The color is a little intimidating in the tube as it's a light orange color, but on my lips, it comes out to a pinky orange color. Really pretty. I top it off with MAC Mimmy lip gloss from the Hello Kitty collection.
Eye Shadow -Clinique - Colour Surge Eyeshadow Soft Shimmer Champagne
lovepotion18 7/13/2010 3:54:00 PM
This is my everyday brow bone highlighter. I wear it with every eyeshadow color I use, because it's just that perfect in my opinion. The shimmer does not translate onto the brow bone when I put this on. It's a beige color that isn't too obvious like some other brow bone highlighters. I would definitely repurchase if and when I ever run out of this. I use it everyday, but I still have so much left.
Cleansers -Neutrogena - Deep Clean Oil-Free Cream Cleanser
lovepotion18 7/8/2010 4:05:00 PM
Bought this the other day to replace my high end cleanser from Philosphy. I can't remember the name of it, but it's the one that everyone probably knows the name of. Anyways, I tried this the first day and it gave me a minty feeling when rubbing it on my face. It's creamy and at first I was kinda of turned off by it thinking how is this going to make my skin better. But after I rinsed my face with water, my skin instantly felt soft and clean. My face keeps feeling better, cleaner and softer everyday I've been using this. Will definitely repurchase and forget about the more expensive one I was using.
Ok, so I'm a hooked! I bought this palette over the weekend and have worn most of the eyeshadows these past three days. I used all three eyeshadows in the Day look the first day and it really gave me a natural sophisticated look. Very matte. Yesterday, I wore the first two colors in the Classic line and used Sexspresso in the crease. Still very natural and sophisticated, but with a bit of pop because of the frost from Silk Teddy. Today, I tried the Fashion eyeshadows...and the only one I did not like is Nude Beach. The fallout isn't horrible, but it began as soon as I put the shadow on my inner lids. I ended up taking Honey Pot and using that for the rest of my lids and used Cocoa Puff with a little Sexspresson for the outer V. Really gorgeous when put together. I haven't tried Erotica yet, but I'm sure I'll love it since it has a frost finish. The only e/s in my opinion that is glittery is Nude Beach. The Day shadows are matte and the rest are frosty. I'm giving it 4 out of 5 because I still had to use one other color for blending between the crease and brow bone and also a brow bone color not in the palette. But other than that, this palette is great. The cards that are included are great for beginners, but not so natural in the way some of the cards use the frosty and glittery all over the eye. Not my thing. But again, for beginners, great until they get the hang of applying e/s to their specific eyeshape.
Eye Shadow -MAC - Passions of Red: 6 Warm Eyes (Holiday 2008)
lovepotion18 6/25/2010 6:15:00 PM
I love this palette! At first when I bought it, I didn't use it much as I thought the colors were only for the winter/fall season. I use the orange color everyday as a blending color above the crease. Gives that really blended look to the eye. Also, the burgundy color is lovely. It reminds me of Sketch, but I like this color better. Also, the two drab colors on the right. The two above the dark green are great for a neutral eye.
