My everyday go-to highlighter. Golden tone highlighter that adds pretty sheen on my yellow toned asian complexion. It adds a sheen but not glittery or shiny - perfect both day and night. Day times, when I want subtle effect, I use the sane brush with blush and blend it in later with the blush. It brightens up the face for daily use.

Liquid -MAC - Mineralize Moisture SPF 15

If you have dry to normal skin, looking for light to medium coverage with dewy finish, this foundation is way to go. My skin gets dry in winter times and it was extremely dry, sensitive and lack luster after I suffered from a cold for a week or so. This foundation gave me a natural dewy glow without being shiny for my tired looking face. It was very moisturizing and non irritating and when topped with mac mineralize skinfinish powder, it lasted for 7-8 hours without fading. The coverage was good enough to even out skin tone. I had to use a little bit of concealer around my nose where it tends to get red often. I didn't have problem blending it with bases that I normally use, such as MUFE primer, Giorgio Armani primer, and Laura Mecier primer. But I can see how it can be hard to work on with some mattifying primer. I works best with more moisturizing primers. This is my daily foundation for this days, and I believe it can be used in summer time when used with a little bit of powder. It is moisturizing, but not greasy.

I love this blush brush. It might not be the best brush if you like your blush to pop up with a lot of colors, but if you like a very well blended color on your cheek area, this is the one that will work like a miracle. I have some redness around my cheek so dont really like too apparent blush color. This is especially good for very pigmented blushes, like Nars orgasm, Mata Hari and so on. It blends out the color so beautifully and naturally. I use the side to deposit the color and use the top to blend out. Very soft as well.

Dark bronzy brown with shimmer. The texture is wonderfully creamy and soft. On day time, I use this on my crease and to blend out my eyeliner. Gives a soft and deep eye look. It is a perfect to create daytime smokey eyes when used in underline. It somehow accentuates my brown eyes. At night, I used this all over the eye lids and crease, and darken the outer corner with dark brown or black. Perfect color. No fall outs or what so ever! Highly recommended!

Powder -Bare Escentuals - Original SPF 15 Foundation

I am going through a series of chemical peels and this is the makeup I wear on my sensitive skin in between the peels. It doesn't irritate my skin and gives fair enough coverage with airbrushed finish. Not sure what it does, but although it doesn't cover everything perfectly, it somehow diffuses all the redness on my face so that it looks like it provides a medium range coverage with a bit of sheen - without making it look greasy. I pair it up with the mineral concealer from Bare Minerals. For me, this is the product that gives the "glow from within" effect. A little goes a long way, and after buffing it in with my Real Techniques Buffing brush the powdery feel goes away immediately. I use medium beige for my NC25-30 yellow asian skin, and it is a perfect fit. And I don't know how it works, but I can wear this both for winter and summer, although I get very tanned in summer time.

Treatments (Eye) -Kiehls - Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado

Very very moisturizing eye cream. I was experiencing extreme dryness around my eyes this winter and this saved me. I tried layering eye creams and oils at night and tried eye serums along with eye creams. While it didn't increase the number of fine lines that I was developing, the dryness didn't go away. But this product saved the dryness in my eye area. I noticed a lot of reviews that this product is hard to blend in, and I agree. But this product doesn't need to be blended, and I don't think it is formulated for blending. I dot on quite a lot of the product around my eye areas, leave it on for like 10 seconds and then lightly tab in into the skin. Within 5 seconds of tabbing, the thick creamy formula changes the texture into something watery that keeps the eye area very hydrated. It leaves a thing layer of the product, but it is not irritating or oily. II sometimes put some oil on top at night. In morning time, it helps the eye make up goes smoother as well. Yet, I wouldn't give a full five star, cuz it didn't improve the amount of fine lines I see on my eyes. It is still there, but less noticeable due to the hydration it provides though.

Conditioner -Kiehls - Amino Acid Conditioner

It didn't work for me. I thought conditioners were supposed to make your hair smoother and more hydrated, but this didn't do the job. Using only the shampoo was better than using this conditioner. The smelled like coconut and it didn't make my hair greasy - so if you like lightweight conditioner it might be ok for you. But this wasn't for me who likes Pantine or Ojon type of hair products.

Shampoo -Kiehls - Amino Acid Shampoo

It is an ok shampoo. It is gentle, coconut scented and nicely leathering shampoo, but that's about it. I wanted my hair to look healthier and smoother, but this didn't provide any of that. It somewhat thinned out my hair and made it more tangly. But it is gentle though. And if you like coconut scent, you might like this.

Lip Treatments -Kiehls - Lip Balm #1

I love this lip balm. Not for daytime applications, but for night time application. Before going to bed, I put a thick layer of this lip balm on my lips, and my lips can't be smoother and plumped next morning. I used vaseline and some other high end lip balms for night time use, but none of them work as good as this. It gets rid of all the flakes that happened through out the day time and gives a great base for lipstick.

I wanted to like this product, but sadly, I'm disappointed. It is a thick waxy consistency, and some web sites recommend to scratch it with finger nails and melt it on lips wile rubbing it. I used this method and also the regular method (rub it to put the products on my fingers then apply it.) Scratching worked better, but it was messy - under my finger nails? Ewwww. It feels like it has an instant effect on my lips, but surprisingly, it later dried up my lips. It doesn't last. I am going to finish this tub up leave next to my desk. But I'm not getting it again. Oh, it smells good.

Mascara -Lancome - Hypnose Star

Its great for my Asian lashes. My lashes are not necessarily short but it needs a lot of extra help. This mascara gives curl, volume and length. And it holds them. It separates lashes and gives curl, so it gives a doll eye effect. It doesn't smudge either, although it is not a waterproof formula. Oh, the brush is interesting - the triangular shape that goes narrower on the tip. therefore, you can grab the small fine lashes in the corner very well. Overall, this gives a dramatic lashes effect on me - more than YSL fauxis(?). The color is very black!

Scrubs -LUSH - Ocean Salt

I am using third bottle of this product and I am going to buy it again this runs out. It leaves my skin clean and smooth. It gets rid of zits too. It is not harsh at all. Yes, if you have some scars on your face, it might sting a little bit. But that's because the salt ingredient is disinfecting the area - which actually makes the healing process goes faster. I sometimes use this on my body too. My body feels soft afterwards as well. Some people might not like a little bit of burning sensation during application. But personally, to me it is not a bad feeling at all - it feels like deep cleansing. I have dry skin. As far as I put some moisturizer later, it doesn't dry out my skin at all. Excellent exfoliator.

Lotions/ Creams -Kiehls - Creme de Corps

My HG Body Cream. Very effective, non-greasy, and non-scented. I skin became extremely dry after a week of staying at a hotel room and being on airplanes. It was itchy and even cracking in some areas - like my legs for example. I tried tons of body oil and cetaphil body lotion. But while it was staying on my skin with a uncomfortable stickiness and residual feelings, it was still very dry. This solved the problem. Healed up the dryness in three days, and made my skin softer. Although it is heavy duty, it doesn't feel greasy at all. When I take shower after applying this lotion, I can feel the lotion coming off, so it does provide a barrier that lasts on the skin. I have several bottles of this - one for travel, one or my bag and one in my bathroom. Will purchase this over and over again. Oh, one tip: I spray perfumes after pumping out the lotion when I go out or so. It acts like scented body lotion but way more hydrating!

Love love love this product. I have a quite dry skin but sensitive skin. It is so light weight that I didn't know it was doing that much of work at the first week of using it. But I realized that my skin was kind of glowing later and this was the only change in my skin care regime. My skin was more hydrated, no dry patches around my nose or lips but it was not being greasy at all. I don't know what it does, but it hydrates my skin from underneath, kind of feeling - my facial skin feels comfortable! The smell is divine as well. The packaging is nice too - glass bottle with a pump that gives out perfect amount of product! Only one con is that it runs out relatively faster than thicker serums cuz I use quite a lot of products - maybe two pumps - at one usage. But it does an awesome job, so I am getting this one again for sure!

I am disappointed. Doesn't hydrate underneath my eye area. It was hard to get absorbed. I pat it on for about a minute, but still the same story. When I put makeup on, it all caked up and came off as little tiny balls!!! It didn't matter how long I wait to put makeup on after applying this eye cream. Horrid. Now I use this for my neck... It was about $17 at target, but considering the quality of the product, I don't think it was worth it. I would rather invest in higher end products that at least hydrates my undereyes and doesn't ruin my makeup. The packaging is nice - its a little tube.
