I use this product nearly everyday, mainly because I enjoy the scent so much, which smells like an orange Tootsie Pop to me. Even though this is a staple I don't find it very exfoliating at all, it is overpriced in my opinion and alone it does not make a good cleanser. Pros: Smells awesome, especially if you like sweet citrus scents. Cons: Overpriced for what it does, which isn't much, but it's still a part of my daily cleansing ritual. Doesn't exfoliate much, the grains are tiny and not plentiful.
Scrubs -The Body Shop - Africa Spa Body Salt Scrub
lovehangover 9/19/2011 9:22:00 PM
Hi, this is my review of Spa Wisdom™ Africa Ximenia & Salt Scrub (clarifying because the review listing isn't specific lol). This product smells very yummy, not foody, but a beautiful floral aroma that I can't place. It is a butter and/or cream-like consistency, and the scrub particles are fine yet effective, and left my skin soft and moisturized. I did something kind of wacky yesterday, I used this on my legs as a very thin shaving cream, and it left my skin smoother than usual, but as it's salt-based I don't recommend this to anyone else (I came out ok though). The price is the only issue, it's expensive at $28, but The Body Shop has sales so often that this may not really be an issue and you do get a generous amount at 13.5 oz. (esp. compared to Spa Wisdom™ Morocco Black Olive & Argan Oil Scrub which retails for the same price, but has about half the product). I can't wait to use this in the winter time. 4 out of 5 stars :)
Fragrances -Unlisted Brand - jessica simpson FANCY LOVE 2009

I purchased a sample lot of this fragrance from Ebay, and I'm glad I did! The scent is quite pretty, but it does smell like a couple of other fragrances on the market... Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue and Victoria's Secret Pink With A Splash fragrance in Fresh & Clean (more like this one than the former), to my nose it smells like a softer and sweeter Light Blue. The notes are: Top notes: Peach Blossom, Bergamot, Goij Leaf and Pink Champagne. Heart notes: Lotus, Peony, Plumeria, Jasmine and Turkish Rose. Base notes: Amber, Blonde Woods, Musk and Patchouli. Basically it's a clean, soft, fresh out of the shower ("you but better") style scent.
Wow I don't know if my little review will make a difference, after over 700 lol. Obviously this is a popular product, I purchased it a few months ago, and I have to say it's only competition (of the mascaras I've tried which include N.Y.C. brand, Maybelline Great Lash, Maybelline curling mascara which I forgot the name of lol, Victoria's Secret mascara, Lancome Definicils, Cover Girl Multiplying, etc.) is Lancome Definicils which is the best hands down of any other mascara I've used. Back to this product, it's good, and if you're not interested in paying over $10-15 for a mascara, but you want the almost faux lash look, then this is your best bet. If you think your lashes could use a boost on the length or thickness front, I'd recommend investing the $7 .
Lip Gloss -Victoria's Secret - Beauty rush lipgloss in punchy
lovehangover 10/6/2007 4:51:00 AM
This is the most intense of the Beauty Rush glosses (from all that I've tried I should clarify), it's like an opaque bright fuschia. I have to apply it very lightly or dillute otherwise it looks bad on me. I want to like this, because of the intense color, but I don't think I'll ever buy this one again. The smell is OK, nothing spectacular.
Lip Gloss -Victoria's Secret - Beauty Rush Lip Gloss in Mochaboom

Smell is lovely, like sitting in Starbucks. No color deposited on my lips, which is ok considering it's a pale biege color in tube. I won't repurchase ( I need color w/my tastey gloss), but I may very well use up the tube I own.
Lip Gloss -Victoria's Secret - Beauty Rush Lip Gloss - Plumstruck
lovehangover 10/6/2007 4:43:00 AM
Is it just me, or was this very, very sheer? It didn't show up really well on my lips (which I admit are very pigmented), mostly just shine, which is disappointing considering how pigmented it is in tube. Smell is ok, but nothing spectacular, I won't repurchase.
Lip Gloss -Victoria's Secret - Beauty Rush Lip Gloss - Pinked Lemonade
lovehangover 10/6/2007 4:40:00 AM
I really adore this gloss! The color hot pink shade does show up, sheer, and shiny. This is one of my favorites of the Beauty Rush line. I will definitely repurchase. The only thing I didn't like, was the smell, which does smell lemony, and I'm not a citrus fan (for the most part), but I'm over that now.
Lip Gloss -Victoria's Secret - Beauty Rush Lip Gloss - Grapefruit Blast
lovehangover 10/6/2007 4:35:00 AM
This isn't bad, but I wasn't impressed with it. Very sheer gloss, smells decent, but I'm biased because I'm not a grapefruit fan. I'd just say it was ok, many better Beauty Rush flavors to choose from.
Lip Gloss -Victoria's Secret - Beauty Rush Lip Gloss in Piece of Cake
lovehangover 10/6/2007 4:33:00 AM
I really like the way this looks on me. The smell is nice, but I prefer Cupquake's smell more lol. The color is a flattering pale pinkish hue. The smell reminds me of Vanilla Bean Noel by B&BW, moreso than a piece of cake. I'll definitely repurchase it!
This smells nice, very foody (toffee and honey maybe?) , and cleanses well without leaving my skin like a desert. I will continue to use this, but I must say I slice pieces off too, and even at that it doesn't last very long, like 5 showers a bar. I use it in moderation lol.
Gels/Soaps -LUSH - I should Coco Soap [DISCONTINUED]
lovehangover 10/6/2007 4:24:00 AM
I tried this for the first time tonight, and it's awful. It burned my feminine area (I'm being P.C. lol) , smelled disgusting and overwhelming, left bits of coconut on my shower gloves, it's just awful. What's funny is the soap smelled wonderful before I used it in the shower, but it's like mixing w/water brought out these really stinky notes. I will never use this again.
I've read mostly good reviews about this product. I've been wanting to use it for years, but I could never bring myself to buy it, until recently. I received this yesterday in my drugstore.com order, and I am so unhappy with this item. I felt irritated, it stunk (I wish it smelled like the Oil-Free Acne Wash for face, that's a fresh pleasant smell), hard to remove from bottle, and just a waste of money. While it isn't expensive, I could have purchased (2) St. Ives Apricot Scrubs for a little more than this. I can't say if it fights acne, but I know I'll never use this again.
When I smell this I have memories of soft yellow flowers (I'm a kid, rolling around on a relative's lawn), and cupcakes. Well the cake part of the cupcake to be precise, it hides a bit behind the soft yellow flowers in my mind lol. This is a really nice scent, I think if you like Vera Wang Princess, or Victoria's Secret Sweet Talk , you'll enjoy this one too. It's very soft, and comforting, not a sharp note in sight (or sniff?) . I can't speak for staying power, because I accidently washed it away while washing my hands earlier :( .
Think soap, think home, think comfort, think sensual, that is Cashmere Mist. It's incredible, I feel so beautiful, and sexy in this fragrance, it's definitely one of my favorites. I'm 24 (almost 25) and it's perfect for any age, it lasts all day, not overwhelming nor weak, just right. I could see myself wearing this for the rest of my life. Before swapping for this, I used to love sniffing the strips in magazines of Cashmere Mist, actually I still do lol.
