Love this perfume. The packaging is perfect for the whole theme. I can see where it would feel masculine, but I think its mainly just a warm scent. Makes me think of a really hot summer night.

Love this cream. Smells great (like Miss Dior Cherie perfume). Not too heavy and not greasy at all. The small bottle at Sephora is $5 and has lasted me months.

Tinted Moisturizer -Sonia Kashuk - Radiant Tinted Moisturizer SPF 15 (tube)
rated 4 of 5

I'm on my second tube of this. Its pretty good. Light coverage, but great for evening out skin tone. I have rosacea, so this helps make my face seem more even. It blends well and is easy to apply. I'm not a huge fan of the bottle, since it kind of runs out of the tube. Also, by radiant they mean 'not matte' so I always set it with a powder. I haven't noticed any breakouts and it doesn't feel heavy.

Treatments (Eye) -Garnier - eye roll on with caffeine

This product was simply a waste of time and money. I thought it would be great for circles, but i've seen no improvement. The only positive effect is the cool feeling, which can be helpful if you have sinus pressure or had a long day. That said, save your money and buy an ice pack.

Makeup Brushes -Sigma - Essential Kit - Make Me Blush
rated 5 of 5
lovedork 1/21/2011 1:09:00 PM

I received the 12 piece set at a Christmas present this year. My mom bought them from the Sigma shop on Amazon for $79.95. The brushes came in an organza bag with a thank you card, travel crease brush, and an offer from Sigma (review the product on Amanzon and they send you a free gift- travel contour brush). There is also a brochure which explains the function and use of each brush. I own a few MAC brushes, as well as some from Sephora, Sonia Kashuk, and elf. These are, by far, the best i've tried. The 12 piece set includes any brush you could ever need, except maybe a kabuki. My favorite is the big powder brush- its so soft and applies loose powder so well! The eye brushes are great, too. I haven't had any problems with shedding or color bleeding, and i've washed them a few times. The only one I may not use is the foundation brush, but one out of 12 isn't a big deal. The price is great, considering MAC brushes can cost upwards to $45 for one. I spot clean mine after every use and deep clean weekly to keep them in good condition. Also, I put a little clear nail polish over the brush names so that the paint doesn't wear off. Try to keep the handle dry so that they maintain their strength. Enjoy these lovely brushes!

Eye Shadow -Wet 'n' Wild - Color Icon Trio - Silent Treatment
rated 4 of 5
lovedork 1/21/2011 12:55:00 PM

I bought this trio earlier this week at Rite Aid for $1.99. The colors are wonderful- pretty, pigmented, and easy to blend. My only complaint is that its a bit dark when used as directed. I tried a daytime look but ended up with a deep smoky eye. I would recommend using the lightest color as a lit color, taupe in the crease, and crease color as an outer v color or maybr a liner.

Shampoo -LUSH - Seanik
rated 5 of 5

I am in love with this shampoo! I bought this along with Godiva so that I could get the free tin, with absolutely no expectations for it. I tried this about a month ago and I'm quite impressed. I love how soft and clean my hair feels! The scent is very light and doesn't linger very long, but its still very nice. I love that its solid, which makes it great for travel, environment, etc. My only complaint is that I wish they made a corresponding conditioner. Other than that, I really love how my hair feels when I use this. It's amazing on oily/dirty hair days.

Palettes -Urban Decay - Book of Shadows Vol. III
rated 5 of 5
lovedork 9/7/2010 1:54:00 AM

I went to the NYC event and waited 2 hours in Times Square for this palette (and the free shirt and samples lol). I must say, I love this more than any other UD product I own. I have AIW palette, which I loved, but now I feel like 'move over, honey, theres a new kid in town.' The colors in BOSIII are so much more my speed. I can easly pair them and feel like they are complimentary and just so pretty! I'm in love with loaded, kush, bordello, and rockstar. The colors are smooth, pigmented, blendable, and just so pretty. These shades will be great for the Fall, as well as night looks. I'm very impressed by this palette. My only issue is that the lights on the pop up sometimes don't light, but I barely open the top so it's not that big of a deal. Other than that, i'm in love.

Concealers -E.L.F. - Tone Correcting Concealer
rated 1 of 5
lovedork 6/26/2010 11:58:00 AM

Since I needed a concealer and had good previous results from e.l.f., I expected that this would be good. It wasn't. I bought it in light beige, which matched my skin tone fine. The first thing I noticed was the smell. It's awful. It smells like chemical-laden orange cleaning solution. Really offputting. It also has almost no coverage. It wore off in under an hour. Seriously. I also felt like there wasn't much in the tube at all. I;ve barely used this and the tube is almost empty. I know it was only a dollar, but it was still pretty disappointing. Stick to erase paste or something thicker.

Masks -LUSH - Love Lettuce Mask
rated 5 of 5
lovedork 6/26/2010 11:54:00 AM

I wanted to love this product. I put it on and the first thing I wasn't sure of was the smell. I like floral scents and this smells like a spice rack. Then if felt tight, and I was worried. I washed it off and my skin felt soft, but not different. I went to bed disappointed. I woke up this morning and -yay- I LOVE THIS PRODUCT! My pimples/blemishes are gone. All of them. I had a massive one on my chin that has been reduced to a teensy pink blur. My skin feels sooo soft. The scent is gone, which is a plus for me. Also, my skin looks bright, almost like its glowing. I'm very satisfied and will probably buy again.

Shampoo -LUSH - Godiva Solid 2 in 1
rated 5 of 5
lovedork 6/25/2010 9:53:00 AM

I bought this out of curiousity. I really didn't have any expectations, besides expecting it to dry out my hair. I was in love with the smell I had to at least try it. I must admit, I was pleasantly surprised. The smell is really amazing. Jasmine and maybe a little honeysuckle? Very sweet and floral, but not overpowering. I rubbed the bar around a little and ended up with a generous amount of lather. Even while rinsing I could feel how soft and clean my hair felt. My hair is think and pin straight, with no curl and a slight tendency to frizz. It generally takes about 3 hours to air dry. For some reason, maybe a lack of residue, my hair dried in about 30 minutes. It was soft, scented, full, and shiny. I'm really impressed. My hair looks healthy and smells delicious. Will probably buy again. Price is decent, but will have to update with how long it lasts.

Lipstick -MAC - Thrills
rated 5 of 5
lovedork 6/4/2010 6:30:00 PM

This l/s looked so dark in the tube that I almost didn't buy it. The SA cinvinced me by saying 'honey, this is YOUR color!' That may have been his line, but he was right! Its not MLBB, its MLBF (my lips but fancier! lol). The color is a lot like my natural lip color, but a bit darker and with a metallic sheen. I really love this color, far more than I ever expected.

Lipstick -MAC - Lazy Day
rated 5 of 5
lovedork 6/4/2010 6:27:00 PM

Absolutely love it! I was fooled by a SA into buying GaGa- he told me it suited everyone. Wrong! This pink actually does suit me. It's such a pretty shade. I wear it with bold eyes and sometimes on its own/ I'm probably going to buy backups, something i've never done. I really love the color. My friend bought it as well and even though we have completely different looks, it suited us both bery well.

Scrubs -Bath and Body Works - Aromatherapy Vanilla and Jasmine Sugar Scrub
rated 3 of 5
lovedork 5/7/2010 1:03:00 AM

This is my first scrub from Bath and Body Works. I'm not the biggest fan of the store (mostly becuase I don't want to pay $20 to smell like a cookie) but I saw this in the window display and was curious. The smell is amazing (although different in store, at home, and on the body). I love the texture of this. I feel so soft and smooth after using this. My only bit of advice is to stir or shake the can, since the oil seperates. I would also wait for a sale. It's great, but $16 for sugar and oil makes me cringe. That could have been a lipstick! lol Update: Took away a lippie for packaging and 2 for overall. The top of the container is awkward and always falls, getting water in the container. Also, the smell is a lot stronger than I had originally noticed. I still feel smooth, but there is so much more oil than sugar and I often feel a little greasy. I don;t know if i'll repurchase. I may just make my own.

Palettes -Too Faced - Fun In The Dark
rated 4 of 5
lovedork 4/18/2010 11:57:00 PM

I just bought this as a treat to myself and also as a way to get my hands on a few Too Faced products so I could try them out. I'm pretty pleased with this so far. The four shadows are really pretty. I love Peep Show! It's a peachy pink with shimmer that works as a nice accent color. Lucky Charms will be fun to play with in the late spring and summer. The other shadows are nice, too. All are shimmery and all blend well, except Full Frontal. For some reason, I can't get that color to behave on my lids. The lip colors are very light, but very pretty. I'm in love with Free to Love. The bronzer, Sun Bunny, is a bit too dark for my pale skin, but I can play with it around the hair line and cheek bones when summer comes. My absolute favorite part of this set is the bluch, Papa Don't Peach. It's a beautiful peach (duh!) color with a slight shimmer. It creates such a natural shimmer on my skin, soooo pretty! The packaging is adorable, lights and all.
