Nectar Thermique has been one of those products that have been on my wish list for a long time but I haven't had the guts to shell out the cash for. I finally did a month ago after my hair was noticeably more damaged after a dye job. At first, I was like...what's the big deal - it didn't seem to do anything for my hair and I continued to use it just as a heat protectant. However, when I was in Europe last week where it is noticeably hotter and more humid than my native California, my friends commented on how smooth and soft my hair was (this is a MIRACLE.. with my curly/wavy, dry, frizzy, fine but coarse-looking hair). Right now, I just touched it and it's SO soft. I would continue to pay for this as long as it works the miracle it does. The heat protectant element is just a plus :)

I guess I'm too young to be reviewing a eye cream, but I have extremely dry skin and my skin gets flaky around the eye area. At the same time, I don't want to use a regular lotion or a heavy cream that will cause millia. I use this eye cream just for moisture- nothing special like diminishing fine lines or reducing the appearance of wrinkles. And so far, it does its job. It moisturizes all day long and it's comfortable to wear. The price isn't too bad either considering it lasts awhile. The SA advised me to rub a small dab of the cream between my clean and dry thumb and forefinger until the consistency turns to liquid (you can actually feel it suddenly change...it's really amusing) and it becomes much easier to apply.

I LOVED IT when i tried in on in sephora. So I made an impulse buy and I still love it, because it holds my curl, defines my lashes, thickens them, lengthens them and whatnot. However, it smudged throughout the day in the hot California weather this week. The smudging was not too bad considering that I'd just danced for an hour and a half and it was really hot. So I'd rebuy....it is a little pricey, but it's good overall. I just wish it didn't smudge.
I like this product overall because it noticeably brightens up the eye area when applied to the inner and outer corners. However, if you put too much on, you look like you have a sunglasses tan ( you know what i'm talking about) and it's harder to blend. For me, there's no problem with blending- I actually find the product pretty soft and easy to blend. For busybodies, this is a really good product (:
I HATED this product when I first bought it, and I bought the mini one. I thought I wasted money even on the mini one, but it's been a couple weeks and after getting used to it, I'm getting the sorta-false eyelashes it promises. At first, it clumped and was gloopy (disgusting, I know) and it honestly didn't do anything for my lashes but add color to my already-black lashes. Then I tried a different method mentioned here which takes more time but well worth the results: wiggle the brush at the base (REALLY separates) then brush SLOWLY and CAREFULLY up. It works like no other and it lasted through a crying session (: PROS: -mostly-waterproof (a few specks migrate here and there) -lengthens reasonably -thickens/ makes them look fuller reasonably -holds the curl CON: -i guess on the pricy side? same as all department mascaras -i cant figure out how to get it off in little tubes, I get it off in big lumps of mascara... but it removes easily
I LOVE this mascara. It separates and creates just enough length. It's not like dramatic length, but enough for everyday purposes. I have not experienced any flaking and flakes A LOT less than Max Factor Stretch & Separate waterproof. However, it does dry out really quickly but I love the brush.
