Cleansers -Paula's Choice - Skin Balancing Oil-Reducing Cleanser
loui27 2/19/2009 9:11:00 AM
I'm on my second bottle of this and i love it. i have used in the past Clarins, Clinque, Estee Lauder and Aveda and can honestly say this has given me the best results. it has removed all the little balckheads from my nose, it has removed all the little bumps around my chin. it doesn't dry my skin and it removes all my makeup. i really couldn't be happier and if you have normal, combo skin then give it a twirl!

Moisturizers -Paula's Choice - HydraLight Moisture-Infusing Lotion
loui27 11/11/2008 10:48:00 AM
I've been reading PB product reccomendations for years and thought i should try out her products. i'm in the UK so I order from the Europe site..I use and love the Balancing Cleanser and Antioxidants for all skin types. Hydralight isn't quite mositurizing as i had hoped for me. it does soak into my skin nicely but my skin still feels like it needs a 'drink' in this UK Autum/Winter weather. i'm not going to throw this away as i'm sure it will work perfectly in the summer, I will however order the Hydrating Cream and see whether that provides enough mositure. overall i am always very happy with Paula's products. i like the no fuss packaging - i'm well over the the days of having to have products that looked 'pretty' in my bedroom & bathroom.

Treatments -Estee Lauder - Future Perfect Anti wrinkle radiance cream dry skin spf15

I'm so dissapointed in this cream. I bought the lotion for Normal/Oily skin. This just makes my face feel dry! I don't understand why this is happening. I have to apply another mosituriser ontop. this product oviously doesn't suit my skin....shame i spent £40!!!!

Lipstick -MAC - Costa Chic
loui27 5/27/2008 10:43:00 AM
Well this lipstick on it's own look vile. I popped into MAC as I was fedup of my usual neutral, Hug Me lipstick. I wanted something that would go with my Peach Keen Blusher. The SA went off in search of lipsticks... she came back with Costa Chic and a lipgloss. Initially I thought she is having a LAUGH. Bright pink...no WAY. As everyone is staring at me I first put on the lipstick...totally horrible, gross like 1980 look gone wrong...THEN I applied the choosen lip gloss Viva Glam VI and it totally changed the look into something amazing!... it looked lovely, really brightend up my face. I could not believe it. I kep removing it, putting it back on...whincing whenever the lippie was applied (gross) and then beaming when the lip gloss was applied. how different the two looks were. after half n hour and all the SA staring at me i finally gave in and purchased both the lippie and the lipgloss. It proves that I have no eye for colours as I would never of gone for that colour and thought to put it with a gloss.... give the combo a try ;)

Mascara -MAC - Plush Lash
loui27 5/27/2008 10:30:00 AM
I really like this mascara..this only cost £10 from the MAC store in the Uk so a total bargin. the brush is massive and I find I do get the mascara all over my face and trying to get to the little eyelashes in the cornor of my eye is a little tricky. But overall I think it's ACE. doesn't smudge or flake on me. I have tried Doir and YSL both of those were good, but this MAC mascara provides me with the same effect if a bit better, so I will stick with my £10 stunner.

Liquid -Estee Lauder - Double Wear LIGHT Foundation SPF10
loui27 4/7/2008 8:39:00 AM
I received a few samples of this through the post and i love it. i had tried the normal Double Wear but found it was far to heavy on my face. i have since been using Mac Studo Fix. however i am loving the way Double Wear Light feels on my face, i love the covergare and the colour No 2 is just perfect for my skin colour. I will defo re buy this.

Liquid -MAC - Studio Fix Fluid SPF 15
loui27 1/28/2008 10:24:00 AM
i'm not loving this product. i've been using NW25 for a few weeks now and i don't think the match is perfect, despite the SP picking and testing this on me. i also feel it's a tad to heavy, when i look closely in the mirror it looks unatural.. i love medium cover foundation don't get me wrong, but this doesn't look nice. the lines around my eyes appear more prominently and if i apply loose powder then i look like way to over made. i won't re purchase

loui27 1/3/2008 11:55:00 AM
i'm always looking for a shampoo that will make my fine hair look fab. i've tried all sorts drug store, clinique, Aveda, BB, GHD and after a few reviews thought i would try this one. ummm for the price i am dissapointed. it does lather up well but that doesn't mean your hair will look fab. i just didn't think it gave me enough omph..my hair looked and felt limp after a few hours.... sadly i won't be buying this again...back to GHD.
