A wonderful product! This makes my hair flyaway free when blowdrying. It's on the pricey side, but I still have not found anything I like more than Aveda hair products. Smells great!
Styling Products -Aveda - Smooth Infusion Glossing Straightener

This product works wonders on my hair! I try not to straighten too often, but when I do decide to I put some of this on my damp hair before I blow dry. I have very long hair and usually when i blowdry the ends are what look frizzy. When i use this product the ends of my hair look wonderful! The product smells great (as do all Aveda products.) I would definitely buy again.
Lash Stiletto has been a great mascara to me time and time again. So I decided to try the waterproof kind..that was a waste. I feel like the normal stuff does just as good of a job or better than this "waterproof" formula. It did not want to stay put..I felt like it melted underneat my bottom lashes more than the nomal formula. Seemed like my lashes clumped together in chunks more with this one also. I love Lash Stiletto mascara but with my experience I would just stick to the normal formula. It stayed put on my lashes longer and kept them looking nicer than this "waterproof" did.
Moisturizers -Mary Kay - Timewise Age Fighting Moisturizer

This is my favorite moisturizer! I use this every day and night. It isn't heavy and doesn't leave my skin greasy or wet. It absorbs fast and makes skin instantly soft and smooth! Nothing yet has convinced me to change. My skin looks great!
Concealers -Neutrogena - 3-in-1 Concealer for Eyes
lorwayk 2/5/2013 12:24:00 AM
This product was just okay for me. It didn't have as good of coverage as I would have liked. I purchased because of the fact it had an SPF and claimed not to settle into lines. It's not the worst concealer I've tried, but I wouldn't repurchase. Not worth the 10 bucks. After being applied, this concealer made my under eye area look a little dry. But the tube is going to last me a long time, and it works for me as a backup now. I will keep searching for a better under eye concealer.
Makeup Brushes -E.L.F. - Studio Small Precision Brush

A nice brush to have. It is very small and allows for precision application of eyeliners and such. The bristles are not too stiff but not too soft and flexible. For the price this brush is well worth it. I guarantee you will have a use for this brush. I would definitely repurchase!
Eye Makeup Remover -Mary Kay - Oil Free Eye Makeup Remover

This is the best eye makeup remover I have ever tried! I seriously HATED taking mascara off because all the removers I have tried never worked and I ended up hurting my eyes trying... I have been hooked since the frst time I tried this! It works perfect for taking off waterproof mascara and eyeshadows. I always wash my face right afterwards and make sure to splash water around the eye area-and it does feel oily to the touch after water hits there..That is why I only use this before I am going to wash my face. Definitely the best I have tried so far. I would buy this again for sure - but may look at others too. Worth the $
Well I gave it a try.. This mascara was far from anything special.. It seemed thick but wet and I could not get my lashes to look good no matter how long I tried using a brush and fixing it looked wet and clumpy on me. Not the worst I have tried but I wouldn't buy it again.
Why the heck did I decide to give this a try? First - the packaging is horrible and messy. It does not have great coverage. Seems to dry out quickly.. I am fair and the lightest shade did not look good. I used it about 3 times and that is it. (tried something else and then never touched it again) Might as well throw it away not it has been sitting for so long...It was around $7 if I remember. Trust me ladies - you can find something better. Don't let the clever name fool you like it did me :)
This is the first and only makeup primer I have tried - so I have to give it 5 lippies because it works well for me and I have nothing else to compare it to. My skin is on the oily side esp around the TZone. It looks like it would intensify this but it does not. My foundation lasts longer when I have this on. Also has SPF 15 which is a plus.
I have no complaints on this brush set. I like the case - could fit a few more brushes and be bit larger in my opinion. It comes with 8 total. The brushes are okay...the powder brush would be the best of the bunch...the blush brush is angled, it works well also. That is about the best of the batch. The eye crease brush is laughable. The hairs look cheap and you can see stragglers all around it. I bought this on eBay half price and am happy with what I got. (But mostly with the case - brushes were not that special)
Cleansers -Mary Kay - Timewise 3-in-1 Cleanser and Moisturizer
lorwayk 12/18/2012 1:28:00 AM
This has been my favorite cleanser/moisturizer that I have tried so far. It leaves my skin soft and clean. Nothing else I tried does the job as these two products have. I use the COMBINATION TO OILY skin cleanser and it cleans without stripping my face completely dry. The exfoliation beads are nice also. I am sure I will buy more of this cleanser.
Makeup Brushes -E.L.F. - Professional Bronzing Brush
lorwayk 12/18/2012 1:23:00 AM
This brush is so bad I could laugh. I paid $1 for it thankfully..So some of the hairs on the brush were straggly and frizzed out. It doesn't hold anything it is just complete garbage! The worst part had to be when I washed the brush and all of the stupid red hairs of the brush started losing their color and my water I was using to clean the brush would not stop turning pink. Soooo I threw it out! Please do not waste your time with this cheap thing. Do something better with your $1...which would be - ANYTHING!
This brush was worth the $1 that I paid for it but not a penny more! It is on the scratchy side but it is okay for handling a light finishing dust. The fact it was a dollar is the only plus about this brush, Definitely would NOT repurchase!
This is a good mascara. It does the job but the only complaint I would have is it did take a longer time to dry after applying. I also found it didn't really volumize as much as it should have - it kind of just darkened and lengthened a bit. It is not the worst I've tried but I am still going to keep searching for something better than this.
