The only mascara that I have tried that I can actually apply more than one coat. Does a decent job and lengthening and thickening. Not quite hole grail for me, but I lke that I can actually build it.
the latest addition to my 60 seconds collection, rapid ruby is a true blood red, its fast drying and the express brush is one of the best and for only £1 Im very happy with it.
Polishes -Rimmel - 60 Seconds Nail Polish in Deliciously Dark
loopymonkey 1/4/2013 1:57:00 PM
Spotted this for £1 and Im so glad I picked this up, I have several shades from the 60 second range and this has to be one of my faves, im on day five of wear and its still in pristine condition, very deep dark shade that looks almost black, large brush makes application a doddle, two coats and a couple of mins later and you're good to go.
Silver Bullet is a frosty white, I didn't have the same probs as the reviewer below me, mine was totally opaque in two coats and looks very elegant, looks great with a glitter top coat too.
Polishes -Rimmel - Sixty Seconds Stars 620 Star Studded
loopymonkey 11/30/2012 7:11:00 PM
Star Studded is a sheer white base with multicoloured micro glitter, one coat gives the nails a subtle shine with just a bit of edge or you can apply over any polish to add some subtle glitter. Really does dry within the 60 secs too.
Like the other reviewers have said, its a unique jelly based purple with micro glitter. I paid £1 for mine a while ago but have only tried it last week. I applied three coats but in hindsight i should have done four, it also took longer to dry than most of my other polishes so for that reason i would not repurchase.
I paid £1 for this in Poundland and kind of feel like I've robbed Revlon, its not totally matte in my opinion so I added a matte top coat and it looks even better, the matte finish coupled with the shimmer gives the polish a velvety look, super fast drying time. Im gonna head back to poundland and pick up the other matte suede shades they had in stock today.
Polishes -Sally Hansen - Complete Salon Manicure Nail Polish

I have these in shades terracotta, dorien grey, casting call, wiithout a stitch, model behaviour and thinking about blue they all look beautiful in the bottle. So far I have only worn Teraccotta and its a beautiful elegant nude brown, two coats were all that was needed, I am on day four of wear with no topcoat and have been heavy handed due to cleaning out house ready for christmas. The polish still looks as good as they day it was applied. I paid £1 each and cant wait to try more.
picked this up for £1 and am extremely happy with it for all the reasons the lady below me stated, wish I picked up more now.
Looks good in the bottle but its very sheer, I applied five coats and it still was not anywhere near opaque. I removed it straight away as it took way to long to dry, its now in the bin. Hope the other colours in this range are better.
I love this colour and its perfect for autumn, I only paid £2 for this so the price is great too. Its a brown base with a copper shimmer and it lasted really well compared to my other Sinful polishes. I got five days out it and only changed because I was bored and wanted a new colour. I had been a bit harder with my hands whilst wearing this too. I wish the other sinful polishes I own lasted as long.
Lip Gloss -Sally Hansen - Diamond 12 hr lip treatment
loopymonkey 10/29/2012 4:25:00 PM
I purchased threeof these in Poundworld as I usually like Sally Hansen products, this one has dissappointed me. All the colours look lovelyboth in the tube and on the lip but the applicator on two of them have lots of stray bristles, the formula is very thick and gloopy with an artificial scent, whilst its not unpleasant it is irritating, its sits thickly on the lips and just feels unpleasant in general, my hair is constantly sticking to it and it has poor staying power so not sure how it can be classed as a twelve hour lip treatment if it doesn't stay on for even an hour? I shall be giving these to my daughter to use on her dolls make up head thing.
I paid £2 for two in Heart Of Gold which is a mixture of browns and neutrals, I really love the colours and the formula is amazing and the colour is long lasting, this would most certainley be one of my faves if it were not for the awful packaging and the Union Jack design. Its cute and original but very awkard to get any colour my brushes, its even tricky using the supplied applicator. I'll not be buying any more of these until the packaging changes.
Great colour, great bottle shape and perfect brush shape, one coat is enough for full true coverage. I love everything about this and it looks great under a blue glitter top coat. I only paid £1 and cant wait to try out more. *edited* This stained right through my base coat, Ive had manky blue stained nails for over a week now. Its crap.
Top/Base Coats -Avon - Nail Experts Revitacool Base Coat
loopymonkey 10/27/2012 2:44:00 PM
I picked this up for £1.50 in one of the recent brochures, like the reviewer below me I didnt think much of it at first but then when I tried it again I found it worked really well, I love the chill it gives to the nail bed when you apply it and it would look great on its own too. I have found less staining whilst using this. it gives more protection than my Essie base coat. i will most certainly be repurchasing and plan to stok up if its ever back on sale at £1.50 as its usual price is £5
