Hair Color -Revlon - ColorSilk Buttercream in Dark Brown

I've been using the original ColorSilk in Dark Brown for a couple of years and have loved it. This new formula is amazing! I've never had home color turn out so evenly and uniform. The color is a true, rich dark brown that isn't muddy or flat. I'm always worried when trying a new formula that it will end up looking black but this is perfect! It applies like a dream and I've never had color rinse out so easily. My hair feels amazing and is super shiny. The gloves they provide are definitely better than the original ColorSilk, but they're still not great. Also, the amount of conditioner is pretty puny. But, the amazing results make up for those little things. This is a definite winner and I'm completely impressed with how fantastic this product is. I'm in love!!!

Lipstick -Revlon - Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain - Honey

This is the best MLBB color I've ever used. I've been on the hunt for ages for a color that looks like this. It's the perfect natural pink that makes your lips look finished and pretty. I'm fair and golden, with lips that are a little on the pale side. This color gives them a pretty flush and brightens my whole face. The formula is fantastic as well. Goes on smoothly, wears well and is super easy to apply. There's no shimmer which is a huge plus. It leaves a nice stain after the finish wears away that lasts about 6 hours. I am officially obsessed with this stuff!!!

Crème -Revlon - ColorStay Whipped Creme Makeup

I am in love!!! I had been using the Colorstay Mineral Mousse and this is so much better. I am fair with a yellow tone and the shade BUFF is just about perfect. I like my foundation a step or two up from a tinted moisturizer and don't want to have to use any tools but my fingers to apply. This goes on smoothly and blends easily. The coverage is light to medium but I think it could easily be layered for more. There is no fragrance and no SPF which is a huge plus for me, since I love the one I already wear. I love the satin finish. No shimmer, not too matte and not too dewy. This stuff seriously looks like bare skin. I can get oily in my t-zone and it keeps it at bay without looking dry. So far, I'm getting a good 10 hours of wear and haven't had any breakouts from it. Pretty sure this is going to be a HG for a lot of people!

Lotions/ Creams -Philosophy - Pure Grace Perfumed Body Lotion

I bought a small bottle of this hoping I would experience the same clean scent everyone else does. The spray fragrance smelled just like sunscreen and diaper cream to me, and sadly the lotion does to. The lotion itself is an ok formula. Not quite moisturizing enough for me but not terrible. The idea of a soapy smell is lovely, the reality of Desitin is not! I thought I was crazy so I asked my husband what he thought it smelled like and he said sunscreen and diaper cream too!

Eye Shadow -L'Oreal - Infallible Eyeshadow - Bronzed Taupe

These are the best shadows I've ever used! Bronzed Taupe is exactly that, a blend of bronze and a silvery taupe. It's a little too dark for my taste so I blend it with Iced Latte to brighten it a bit. The staying power of these is amazing. They don't budge from when you put them on until you remove them at night. Love that no primer is needed and that they apply best with fingers. Awesome product and I hope they add more colors soon!

Eye Shadow -L'Oreal - Infallible in Endless Pearl

Love these eyeshadows! They stay on my oily lids all day without any primer. I've used MAC Mylar for as long as I can remember as a highlight and Endless Pearl is a similar creamy white with a satin finish. The texture of this one isn't as soft as the other Infallible shades I have, but it still blends nicely. I've found that applying with my finger works best with these. I dab a little in my inner corners, brow bone and lower lash line. It really brightens up my face and makes me look less tired. I get at least 12 hours of wear with this.

Eye Shadow -L'Oreal - Infallible in Iced Latte

What an amazing product! I've never been able to use eyeshadow without a primer, but this stuff stays put all day by itself. Iced Latte is a champagne that leans a little beige. Perfect for a daily wash of brightening color. It looks really shimmery in the pot, but is sheer when applied. I swipe in on my lids with my finger and I'm good to go until I wash my face at night. The color is easy to build for more drama. I have pretty oily eyelids and only get slight creasing after about 10 hours. I've tried to apply it with a brush but have found that fingers work best. Could not be happier with this shadow!

Concealers -Maybelline - Super Stay 24 Hour Concealer

I can't believe how much I love this concealer! I grabbed it at Target when I was out of my usual Clinique All About Eyes and didn't have time to run to the mall. I have pretty fair, golden skin and I bought the lightest shade to use around my eyes and the Cream shade to use on my face. It makes such a difference! It blends in really easily and stays put all day. It takes away any darkness around my eyes and covers any discolorations on my face perfectly. I also haven't needed eyeshadow primer since switching to this! I normally am not a fan of Maybelline but I absolutely love this stuff and will continue to purchase it. I use Revlon Mineral Mousse foundation and this works beautifully with it!

Cleansers -Neutrogena - Make-up Remover Cleansing Towelettes

I do not like these at all. They do an ok job at removing makeup, but they make my face feel sticky and dirty. I bought them to use on nights I'm too tired to wash my face but they just don't make my skin feel clean at all. I'll stick to baby wipes!

The formula of this lotion is amazing. It leaves my dry, irritated skin soft and calm. The softness is long lasting and it helps keep my skin itch-free. I also love that it doesn't contain mineral oil or petrolatum, which make me itch. BUT...I absolutely hate the scent. I tried to live with it for a couple weeks because I love the formula so much, but I just can't use it. It should have a natural fragrance, but instead it's harsh and smells like cheap perfume. I had to wait quite a while to get dressed because the scent would stick to my clothes and drive me nuts. Even on bare skin it lasts most of the day. Such a bummer!!! If they changed the fragrance I'd buy it by the case!

Cleansers -Neutrogena - Naturals Cleanser + Makeup Remover

I normally use the Fresh Foaming cleanser, but I think I'll stick to this! It removes all of my makeup, even Colorstay, without any irritation. It's creamy and foams up really well. It leaves behind no residue and my skin feels soft and clean. I can get a little oily in my t-zone and this cleanser makes my face feel really balanced. I was expecting a little more of an herbal scent, but the fragrance is subtle and nice. In case anyone is curious about how natural it is, the bottle states the product is 86% naturally derived.

Cleansers -Dove - Beauty Bar - Sensitive Skin

Our toddler has dry, sensitive skin and her pediatrician suggested we switch to unscented Dove. I couldn't believe the difference in her skin after one bath, so I thought I'd give it a try. My skin is much drier and super itchy. I am amazed at how much this little bar of soap has helped me! My skin is soft and calm with no bumps or red spots. I've been using it on my face too and I love it. It removes my makeup and doesn't cause any breakouts or congestion. I also use it in place of liquid hand soap and it's really helped my hands. They're crazy dry and crack and bleed. Using the sensitive bar has really helped them heal and they no longer hurt and are super soft. I am totally hooked on this stuff! It's an effective cleanser but mild and soothing. Perfect!

Polishes -Rimmel - Lasting Finish Pro - Steel Grey

Love this color! I normally only use reds or sheer pinks but have been wanting to branch out. I like the look of the newer grey polishes and thought I'd give this one a try since it was so stupid cheap and got pretty good reviews. It takes three coats to get complete coverage because the first coat goes on super sheer, but after it dries it's fantastic! There's a little lavender and a little beige in it. It's fun and trendy without being obnoxious. I've had it on for 4 days now and my tips are slightly worn, but other than that it still looks great.

Foundations -Revlon - ColorStay Mineral Mousse Makeup

I'm really loving this foundation right now. I have been using Rimmel Stay Matte and liking it, but it's more of a tinted moisturizer in texture and I found I needed to touch up more during the day than I would like. The store was out of the color I needed, so I grabbed this. The texture is a little dryer than I'm used to, but it goes on well if blended quickly. It's pretty matte, but not chalky at all. It smooths out my pores and blends away the redness I have on my cheeks and nose. It lasts all day and I rarely need to touch up. I've noticed it's helping my blush last longer too. I bought fair/light, which looks a little light when I first apply it, but is actually perfect for my fair golden skin. The first time I wore it, my husband commented on how good my skin looked. I like that once I put this on I don't have to think about it for the rest of the day. My skin looks fresh and even with hardly any shine. Edit... It's now been a month and I'm completely and totally hooked on this! No breakouts, great coverage, and it stays put all day. It looks completely natural too. I barely use powder anymore! I think I may have a HG finally!

Polishes -Essie - A-List

Absolutely perfect. I only use reds on my toes and I've been on the hunt for the perfect color for a long time. I've never been able to find a red that's classic, but a little deep that worked with my golden fair skin. This shade is amazing! There's no orange or too much blue, and it's not too purple. It's a perfect punch of a slightly deeper red that is super flattering and pretty. I usually only do sheer pinks on my fingers but I've been using this nonstop. When I applied the first coat I was a little worried because it went on as a sheer raspberry. But, as soon as the second coat went on I fell in love. I use three to deepen it slightly. Of course, since it's Essie the formula is wonderful and the brush is fantastic. It dries shiny and I get about a week on my fingers and two on my toes. Definite HG!
