Lip Treatments -eos - Lip Balm Sphere - Sweet Mint
lol392 7/20/2012 1:31:00 PM
I was seduced by the cute packaging like everyone else but it dried my lips out :/ sux balls man Will not repurchase.
Pricey, but I still like it...oil came out in about 7-8 hours. It makes my skin really soft, smooth and matte after applying. probably won't be repurchasing when I run out (which will be in a year or more since I don't have a need to use this much).
Cleansers -Burt's Bees - Sensitive Facial Cleanser with Cotton Extract
lol392 7/20/2012 12:28:00 PM
This stuff didn't irritate my sensitive skin and it actually smells good. Kind of natural smelling but not nasty. It's kind of sweet. I don't know how well it removes makeup because I don't wear any. I am not prone to actual acne and it didn't break out my skin. The only problem I noticed its that it takes longer to rinse, so I recommend you to use a wet facecloth to wipe it off after 'lathering'. But it keeps my skin really soft and makes it go back to normal after I use it after taking a shower and also before I go to sleep. It is a perfect alternative to what I use in the winter (Eczema Moisturizing Wash, though I don't have eczema). Will be repurchasing!
Shampoo -Live Clean - (Clean Air) Volumizing Shampoo
lol392 7/20/2012 12:13:00 PM
When I bought this, I just chose it for the cute packaging and cheap sale price ($4). I didn't know it was SLS free and biodegradable etc. Awesome! It really does volumize but of course since it does that, it is a bit drying if you don't use conditioner. I don't care because my hair is oily and not really prone to damage (I don't use heat styling tools). Smells good, works, cheap, good for the enviroonment and you...why not buy it? I will probably be repurchasing.
I really wanted to buy this after reading all the reviews and it is now going to replace my Burt's Bees lip balm! The price is great ($4) and the packaging has really great colour blocking (LOL). It swivels smoothly and makes a satisfying click when you turn it all the way down (muahaha). This is my first tinted lip balm and it's great because although the colour is noticeable to me, it doesn't look like I'm wearing lipgloss or lipstick and it doesn't feel like it either (though you can make it really pigmented if you want to). I wanted to try Pink Punch but it would probably look weird on me and Cherry Me if a perfect match. Will be repurchasing.
I have sensitive skin and am always nervous trying new skincare products. This is the best moisturizer I've ever used and I've been using it for aver a year (bought about 2 in a year). A little goes a long way and I use about the volume of a large pea for my face. It absorbs really quick, almost instantly, and isn't the least bit greasy. Makes dry spots go away though I wouldn't call it super hydrating... I'd obviously repurchase and continue to do so unless I decide to experiment and happen to find something even better (kinda doubtful). Note: It is rather expensive, like 30 something CAD. JULY 2012 EDIT: Still using this! It's good for winter or summer and I will hopefully be a lifetime user >:)
Eyeliner -New York Color - Waterproof Eyeliner Pencil - all
lol392 9/1/2011 1:49:00 AM
lmao this is actually my first eyeliner! purchased on a whim because it was cheap and i'm pleased to see the positive reviews here! it doesnt smudge on me except my waterline/lower lashline because i have really watery rims... easy to apply (creamy) and i actually like how its shorter...fits better lol
Hair Styling Tools -Unlisted Brand - Tangle Teezer
lol392 5/25/2011 9:35:00 PM
Didn't buy this, so I don't know how much it costs because my dad has this (he owns a hair salon and is a hair stylist). I used to use it when I was a kid getting a haircut and my hair was REALLY tangly as hell. Works like magic (lol cheesy) and idk how it works but it gets out the tangles. Now my sister uses it before getting a haircut...her hair is like a birds nest ==
Sunscreen -Neutrogena - Ultra Sheer Face Sunscreen SPF 60 with Helioplex
lol392 5/25/2011 9:23:00 PM
Pretty good sunscreen, haven't gotten sunburned after using it. I use this after I shower and then put on moisturizer (which is quickly absorbed + non greasy). I just dot it all over my face and then blend it out. A lot goes a long way and I always find I get too much so I use the excess on my neck. You only need a dime size or less... The consistency is pretty thick and it tends to leave a bit of a white cast but I don't mind because I don't pile it on and it goes away after a while. I have pretty oily skin normally but this doesn't add on to it much (doesn't matify though) and I would be oily by the afternoon anyway. I have REALLY sensitive skin so I'm worried about trying new products but this didn't do anything to me at all surprisingly :D Wouldn't repurchase because I would like to try other sunscreens that maybe more...matifying (if possible lol).
Moisturizers -Biotherm - Skin Vivo Reversive Anti-aging Cream Gel
lol392 9/14/2010 2:10:00 AM
Got it for free, probably very pricey. Very nice, leaves my skin feeling refreshed without any grease. Does not irritate my skin which is nice because I have very sensitive skin. This product pretty much does what my Neutrogena sensitive skin moisturizer does, execpt the Neutrogena is much greasier. And cheaper.
Lotions/ Creams -Vaseline - Aloe Cool & Fresh light body lotion
lol392 9/1/2010 11:12:00 PM
Smells good, moisturizes okay...not great. Doesn't do too much but I didn't expect a miracle lol. Wouldn't repurchase :p
Moisturizers -Neutrogena - Neutrogena Combination skin moisturizer
lol392 9/1/2010 11:07:00 PM
Okay, I purchased all three moisturizers from the Moisture line (I think there's three; combination, sensitive and the one with 15 SPF). I only use this for a daytime moisturizer (that's when my skins most oily) and it takes away alot of the oil which is good if I'm too lazy to wash or whatever. It does moisturize my dry patches but I wouldn't use it at night lol, cuz my skin isn't oily at night (after I take a shower). A few of the reviewers were complaining that it made them oily or whatever but it's for combination skin...not just oily skin. P.s. I have sensitive skin so most of the new products I try give me rashes...none of their moisturizers did though. ***EDIT: This is crap, made me very oily I now realize. Very cheap, didn't give me an allergic reaction but I would sure as hell not buy it again. Save your self lol.
Treatments -Clean & Clear - Invisible Blemish Treatment
lol392 5/15/2010 11:37:00 PM
I was surprised to see so many negative reviews for this product!! I actually like this alot, it`s good for whenever you have a small blemish. It makes the blemish go away in 1-2 days. Or not even.
Lotions/ Creams -Olay - Complete Night Fortifying Cream
lol392 5/12/2010 7:34:00 PM
This gave me a bad rash all over my face, which lasted for 2 days, though I'm not sure if it's because of the fragrance. The packaging was okay, but I disliked reaching my fingers into the pot because it tends to get under your nails =/ Will not be purchasing again.
It cleans really well, though it tends to dry out the skin. I would not recommend this for people with dry skin, it's more for the oily type. It's good as long as you don't overuse this! I will probably purchase this again. **EDIT: This reallly dries out the skin. It's okay to use sparingly and only at the end of those REALLY shitty oily days. If you use this everyday religiously I think it would make you break out more because too much drying out of the oils causes the skin to produce more. Too harsh. Would not repurchase. The 'calming wash' whatever by Aveeno also is way better imo. Same thing but less soapy and intense. I'd recommend it :D
