Masks -Dr. Hauschka - Cleansing Clay Mask

I'm on my second jar now, and I really like this mask. It removes excess oil without dehydrating my skin. I use it straight after I scrubbed myself in the shower, I've never tried to steam before use. But it works wonders any way! My face feels smooth and matte after use. It doesn't itch or burn either, so I'm happy!

Treatments (Eye) -Clinique - All About Eyes

Since I don't have any puffiness, dark circles or dry skin under my eyes, this one works for me. But I do need moisture and in that retrospect, I think it gives enough for me. What I really like with this one is that it works wonders under my makeup! My eye shadow normally creases in no time unless I use this. Currently I'm using the "rich" version, and that one is too greasy for me, I get creases again...

Scrubs -Formula 10.0.6 - One Smooth Operator Pore Clearing Face Scrub
rated 2 of 5

An OK scrub, but not great. The smell is good, but too candy-like for me. It exfoliates well, but I think the particles are too big or hard or something. It feels like it only scrubs exactly where the particles are at any given time, and not over all because of the gel texture. I will probably use it up, but will not repurchase.

Scrubs -The Body Shop - Shea Body Scrub
rated 4 of 5

I really like this scrub, but it has two downsides. It doesn't scrub enough for me (I like it on the ruff side..høhø) and it doesn't moisturizes enough alone. Maybe it will be better used on dry skin as someone below mentions. But if I use it with the Shea Body Butter it works, so I will repurchase!

Lotions/ Creams -The Body Shop - Shea Whip Body Lotion
rated 5 of 5

My HG body lotion! I use this since the Shea Body Butter is a little on the heavy side to use every day. It gives enough moisture, it smells good (but not overpowering), and it sinks in great. The only downside is the bottle, which works great until you are almost finished with it. I can't get the last bit out, and that is plaguing my frugal soul.

Lotions/ Creams -The Body Shop - Body Butter Shea

Love this body butter! The smell is sort of neutral, but good, so it doesn't crash with any of my perfumes. It really moisturizes, but it is too "fatty" to use every day on my body. So I use this after I scrub and on especially dry patches on my body. For this use it is brilliant!

Lotions/ Creams -The Body Shop - Almond Oil Daily Hand & Nail Cream
rated 5 of 5

My HG hand cream! Love the smell, love the moisturizing properties, love the packaging (I have the pump dispenser at my night stand and the tube in my purse)! I've always had trouble with my dry hands, so I have tried lots and lots of hand creams. This is my absolute favorite! This sinks in really nicely and leave my hands supple and silky. Even my bengal cat likes the smell of this hand cream, and she normally hates perfumed stuff. Sometimes she even licks the cream off my hands :P

Masks -The Body Shop - Seaweed Ionic Clay Mask
rated 2 of 5

This mask does work on oily skin, it really drains those pores out, but I think it's not that good on sensitive or dehydrated skin. I can't manage to have it on more than five minutes before it starts itching like crazy. It really burns after I take the mask off, especially when I take on my moisturizer. I normally don't react on ANYTHING... Too scared to use it any more!

A really good conditioner, smells nice and gives enough moisture to my hair. Doesn't flatten my hair either. And really dirt cheap!

A really good smelling shampoo. Doesn't dehydrate my scalp and hair as other drugstore shampoos do. Gives nice volume. Really, really cheap!

Toners -Clinique - Clarifying Lotion #3
rated 2 of 5

I was really put off by the smell of this product. It smells disgusting. But I don't _don't_ use products because of smell, so I started using it. I felt it removed impurities well, but the alcohol that does that also dehydrates my skin really bad. And dehydrated skin gets more sebum to compensate that, so I get more acne by using it. It also gives a burning sensation, so it's not comfortable to use. I now use it to cleanse my "comedone spoon" or what it's called.

Moisturizers -Clinique - Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion

I bought this because the DDMG didn't give me enough moisture, so I thought this would be more appropriate. Bad mistake! I used it a couple of times, and thought it was really oily and sticky. A world apart from the DDMG which sinks in and gives you a smooth surface. I couldn't understand why it didn't moisturize me, but only got me greasy. Until I read the ingredients list. Paraffinum Liquidum. Aah...that's why! I gave it to my mother-in-law.

Concealers -Clinique - Airbrush Concealer

An OK concealer, but nok great. It does illuminate, but it's too light weight so I don't feel it covers enough. It settles in my fine lines -that I don't see unless I use this product...

Moisturizers -Clinique - Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel
rated 4 of 5

A great moisturizer if you have oily skin. It really sinks in to your skin, and gives you an instant moisturized feeling. But it's light weight, so if you have dehydrated skin this would not suffice.

Moisturizers -Clinique - Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief
rated 3 of 5

I had to buy an extra moisturizer because my DDMG didn't suffice. I ended up with this one, and it helped a little. It really gives you a smooth feeling, but I think this comes from the glycerine and dimethicone. I suspect it only lies at the surface of the skin, and gives you a little bit of moisture, but not enough. It smells nice, and gives you a nice pampered feeling, but I still have dry patches, so it only works when you have it on. Will find a better product that actually moisturizes!
