So far, I really like this product. I received it as a sample, and it is a very generous 2 oz. sample product. I have used it for a week or so now and I do like it. It looks a lot more shimmery in the bottle, I don't notice the shimmer on my face. It just smooths out my complexion and adds a subtle glow. I think I would definitely repurchase!

I love this color, but am not a fan of the long stay gloss. They always dry my lips out. I agree with the PP who called it a dupe for Nars Orgasm. Pretty color though!

Styling Products -Redken - Guts

This product is my HG. I have fine hair which has a tendancy to lay completely flat. Guts 10 has literally changed my hair. The aerosol mousse takes a little getting used to, but I spray it on my roots only then blow dry with a round brush. I have volume for days. It is literally my favorite hair product.

I do like this product, I just can't find a color that works for me. The first one I bought was Strawberry Shortcake, which was WAY too pale/pastel for my skin. One of my favorite bloggers uses that shade, and it looks great on her though. I will keep looking. I do like the consistancy, and love the packaging!

Hair Color -Garnier - Nutrisse Permanent Creme Hair Color

I read the reviews of this brand and decided to try it. I have colored my hair for the past 5 years off and on, and recently decided I wanted it to be more natural. My natural color is a dark reddish brown. It was recently highlighted blonde and then dyed over. Unfortunately, it has faded very quickly. I purchased this brand in Chesnut - Medium Golden Brown. The packaging was easy to open and the color was easy to mix. The smell was strong, but not any stronger than other brands I have used. I left the color on for the full 30 minutes, almost panicking at how red it looked on my roots. I rinsed and applied the conditioner (I read earlier reviews of how hard it is to open, so I cut the package open prior to getting in the shower.) My hair felt like straw. I don't think it was the colors fault, for some reason I never seem to rinse all the color out. I left the conditioner on for 10 minutes, and it didn't help much. The next day I took a shower and washed it with a color safe shampoo. I then applied a Pantene deep conditioning mask and left it on for 20 minutes. It feels much better. From what I can tell the color looks great - a deep rich brown with golden undertones. It still feels very dry, but again, not Garnier's fault. I would probably purchase again, maybe after my hair has a chance to repair from all the damage I have caused it.

Lips -Bath and Body Works - 2-in-1 Candied Apple/Brown sugar scrub
rated 3 of 5

I bought this recently on sale at Bath and Body Works for $5. The color I chose was "Mango Colada." I am glad it was on sale, because there is no way I would pay more than that for it! The packaging is cool, very sleek. The brown sugar end is kinda weird, the taste is awful - NOTHING like brown sugar. You are supposed to lick the sugar off after scrubbing. Gross - like licking your dead skin off. LOL. The color is pretty though, but has a little too much glitter than I thought. Still wearable, but the flavor is way too fruity. This would be perfect for a pre-teen. Working adult? Not so much.

Lip Gloss -Neutrogena - moistureshine lipgloss

This was my lipgloss of choice in Junior High, when I think at one point, I owned all of the colors! Now, I recently came across this product again, and purchased my old favorite, First Blush. A subtle, rosy tan. Perfect for understated, work looks. I never had a problem with the packaging (leaking, etc.) but the product does have a strange, but not unpleasant smell. It is great for everyday wear, if you have time to reapply a few times.
