Eye Shadow -Wet 'n' Wild - Color Icon Trio - Silent Treatment

I've been obsessed with the purple-taupe color in this palette. I bought this palette just for that shade. This has surpassed Nutty and Iced Mocha as my fav. taupe color. It makes my hazel eyes pop and compliments my pale, slightly warm skin tone at the same time. If you love taupes, you need this.
More expensive than I normally spend on lipgloss, but after reading raves about it and how great it goes with smokey eyes, I decided to splurge and try it. I didn't really mind the smell and I didn't taste it either on my lips once applied, but most of the color seemed to settle in the lines of my lips. I never thought I had wrinkly lips or anything but maybe I do? I don't usually have this problem with gloss. However I tried it over Myth and Revlon's Soft Nude and it seemed like it worked better over l/s than without l/s. The texture wasn't as sticky as Mac Lipglass, which I like. Overall, I wish this worked out better for me than it did. I'll keep trying out diff. methods of wearing this, but if this is all I can pull off with Turkish Delight I'd rather save that money for something I can wear by itself too.
This was my eyebrow pencil of choice until I found one that better suited my eyebrow color and that I got more use out of. I already have thick eyebrows and need only a little filling in towards the ends and the tops of the arches. The pencil does a fine job of that, but if I use the wax end on top of that or on my whole eyebrow it really makes my eyebrows stand out - more than I'm used to. I absolutely hate the cheap top that come on the pencil end. I've bought this three times and all three times it manages to crack. Or it never fit that well to begin with and I end up losing it since it never stays on. This is a good product, but I don't end up using the wax end all that much so I started using WnW. But if you need your brows not only filled in, but to stand out more I'd recommend this.
I too wondered why this constantly makes the #1 mascara year after year when it seems so many people hate this product. I hate the pink and green packaging. It smudges and doesn't lengthen or give volume. I put this on and there's a neglible difference in how my lashes looked before and after. I guess if you're looking to tint your eyelashes if they're not dark and you want a really natural look this would be the product for you, but if you're looking for anything more it's a bust.
Matte black, but not the blackest black you might find if that's what you're looking for. I don't usually do a black smokey eye, but I like to use this to line my black eyeliner to help set it and make it last longer. It lasts pretty well on its' own too. It blends easily with my 217. You can also apply it wet too if you want it darkened. It's pretty versatile so I'd recommend this, but I'm not sure how much better it is than other matte black eyeshadows out there.

I haven't used this to seal lipstick, but on eyeliner, mascara, and brows this does a good job. The big issue for me with this was that I really don't like how it feels on my lids. When it dries on the skin it feels I got glue on my skin and it itches. When I had this on my eyeliner I felt like picking at it all day and had to stop using it. If you need to really smudge-proof your eye products (except shadow) and aren't sensitive to how it would feel, I'd suggest this. Otherwise it's something I def. can do without.
I'm dark-haired and I've been looking for a nice color to fill in my brows without being too harsh. The darker color on WnW's kit fits me perfectly. With the brush and wax I can control how light of an application I want when filling in with my brows. If I want a more dramatic look I can use the powder without mixing with the wax first. Great product for the value.
Concealers -Maybelline - Super Stay 24 Hour Concealer

I tried the peachy-pink shade for my undereye circles. Pigmentation-wise this covers them better than most d/s concealers I've tried. It also blends pretty seamlessly with my skintone. The biggest issue I have with this product is the cakiness. It goes on pretty smoothly at first but it dries pretty quickly. By the end of the day it still covers my dark circles, but it looks pretty cakey and seems to settle into fine lines. I've tried moisturizing my undereye are with Clinique underye moisturizer but it still cakes on me. I've applying with just a brush, just fingers, and a combination of applying with a brush then patting it down with my finger. If it wasn't for the cakiness, I would've found my HG concealer.
Heard rave reviews for the Color Icon eyeshadow palettes so when I saw this at Walgreen's, I saw Nutty and knew I had to try it since I'm a taupe fanatic. I didn't expect this eyeshadow to be as good as it is. It goes on smoothly, blends easily, and is versatile for both daytime and nightime looks. A great eyeshadow especially for the price. You seriously can't go wrong trying this out.
Scrubs -Olay - Regenerist Microdermabrasion and Peel Kit

This didn't burn or sting my skin at all. It smelled faintly sweet and tart, like oranges. Afterwards, it left my skin feeling smoother, tighter and looking more even-toned. I didn't have acne scars or acne, but my skin was dull and somewhat uneven. This gave me back that glow I was looking for. I would buy this again if my Costco started carrying this again since I usually don't do microdermabrasions.
Mascara -Christian Dior - Diorshow Extase Flash Plumping Mascara

I'm pretty cheap, so when I was prepared to buy Exstase, I guess I was expecting it to perform better than it did for me. I have short, sparse asian lashes and this didn't make my lashes as plump as I would've hoped. Other that that it was alright. It smudged a bit by the end of the day. I also had to wipe off the tip with a tissue every single time otherwise I'd have be a wet, clumpy mess. It got annoying and coupled with the fact that I spent more on this mascara than I usually do, it makes me want to pass on buying this again.
This mascara is alright. I'm kind of torn about the big wand though. On one hand it gets the lashes I usually have a hard time getting, but I have to wipe the wand with a tissue so I don't get clumps. This gets the job done. It's not spectacular and doesn't make my short lashes look like uber glam false lashes. But for an everyday mascara, this is one of my favs.
Like others said, very pigmented so you have to apply sparingly. If you can get the hang of that though, this is an awesome blush for the value.
Lip Treatments -Unlisted Brand - Aquafina Flavor Splash Lip Balm

I picked a pack of these balms on a whim. Honestly, when I first smelled these, I almost chucked them without trying them out. It was almost too overpoweringly minty/mediciney for me, but I felt bad about wasting money if I'd had thrown them out so I gave them a chance. Thank god I did because they are one of the most hydrating lip balms I've tried. They go on more smoothly and just slightly oily enough to glide onto my lips. It also feels like I don't just have a waxy coating on my lips either. If you really can't stand strong minty/mediciney scents you might want to pass, but if you don't mind I'd def. recommend these.
Makeup Brushes -Sonia Kashuk - Synthetic Flat Top Multipurpose Brush

Been using this brush for half a year and so far haven't had any complaints about it. The only drawback I guess is that since I use this for applying foundation and buffing I wish it was bigger to make applying foundation more time efficent. Other than that though there's a lot to love about this brush. It hasn't shed on me and I've washed this repeatedly. It's soft on the skin. It's a decent price for a useful, quality brush.
