Other -Neutrogena - Deep Clean Oil-Free Makeup Remover Cleansing Wipes

I hate these wipes. The horrible, strong smell was the first strike. And then when i got to my eye area, my eyes became very irritated. I had to hold my breath when I was using the wipe around my nose; I couldn't bear the scent. Yes, it removed my makeup very well and I'll finish the pack because I dont want to waste my money but I wont be purchasing the deep clean wipes again. I'll stick the the Sephora brand.
I love this nail polish. The first time I wore it was over a pale yellow from NYC Color called Lexington Yellow. It was gorgeous. It has a holographic appeal that's soo fun and pretty.I'm definitely gonna try the rest of the glittery topcoats Essie has come out with.
Eyeliner -Urban Decay - 24/7 Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner
littlecrush 5/6/2012 10:55:00 AM
This was my first UD purchase.I love this liner even though it leaves a glossy finish rather than matte which is what I'm used to and prefer.I've been so into my maybelline gel liner that I forgot about liquid liner.I have this in Perversion which is supposed to be blacker than Zero.It is really dark and the brush lends for a precise application.I get a really good thin line and sharp cat or winged eye.I'm a product junkie so I don't mind spending $20 on a liquid liner.I love makeup.lol it lasts all day and comes off soooo easily.like if I make a mistake,I'll just a wipe to remove it and it doesn't smudge.I love it.
Lipstick -Yves Saint Laurent - Rouge Volupte In Red Taboo #18
littlecrush 4/30/2012 9:17:00 AM
This was my first YSL purchase! I was so excited.lol I really wanted a red lipstick and I thought "If I'm gonna do a red lip,it might as well be YSL." I felt Red Taboo was the perfect true red.It isn't bright but it isn't too dark either.I usually go for matte lips but there's always the powder trick to take away the sheen this leaves. It's very pigmented also you don't need much.I'm very satisfied with this product.I would repurchase this again but since I'm gonna cherish this,I don't see that happening for a while.lol
Mascara -Tarina Tarantino - Fleur De Lash in Black Opal
littlecrush 4/9/2012 9:50:00 AM
Love this mascara.I got as a 100 pt perk at Sephora and it's wonderful.People with short and/or thin lashes may not like this.Well,I have thin lashes but i still love it! I've used vitamin e oil to lengthen my lashes and this mascara just enhances them. This is best as a daytime mascara or for anyone who doesn't like dramatic lashes. It could be blacker though.I use it everday and am happy with the results.
I bought this powder because I am a cook and working around grills and steam while wearing liquid foundation with my oily skin is NOT a good combination.I'm still working on my skin so that I'm comfortable going out bare-faced but until then this works just fine.It isn't full coverage but I don't need that;I just want something light. It evens out my skin and keeps me from looking like an oil slick by noon.I have the shade Syracuse and it's a perfect match.Looks natural and also has an spf. This will work great in the summer as well for lighter daytime looks.I know it'll hold up in the summer if it does while I'm slaving over grills and hot food for 8 hours a day.
I love this lipstick and will be buying more shades.I have Pink Petal which is an awesome bright hot pink. It's one of the cream lipsticks but can be mattified with the ole powder trick. What I also love about this product is that it stains the lips. Some may not like that but I do because in the chance it may wear off(which will be a long time, might I add),you still have hot pink stained lips.I love wearing this with a clean nude face to make the lips stand out even more.Great color for the spring/summer.
I LOVE this lipstick. It's my go-to for a nude pink lip.I was expecting a dusty rose color but it applies a little lighter on me which I think looks better! It's completely matte which lends for a natural look and allows me to add different shades of gloss if I wanted.I am african-american with tan skin so if you're like me,don't be afraid to pull it off! I need to go purchase another because I'm down to my last half inch.lol
Highlighters -NARS - Highlighting Blush Powder in Albatross
littlecrush 2/20/2012 12:07:00 AM
I love this highlighter. I decided to splurge in Sephora one day just because it was just one of those days when you just need to buy something unnecessarily.lol I was in between purchasing the NARS Albatross and the Charlotte Ronson bronzer/blush/highlighter palette( I forgot the name of it.) They were both the same price which made me sketchy about the Albatross since the Charlotte Ronson had 3 products in one.But I swatched the Charlotte Ronson&the highlighter was a silver-white while the NARS is a gold-white. I already own a silver-white highlighter, which is just a MAC pigment.I feel silver-white highlight looks great in the wintertime. But after purchasing the NARS Albatross, I stopped using my MAC pigment.lol It's such a gorgeous glowy look. I love the way it looks on my nose and the corners of my eyes. If you have warm, tan skin like mine(e.g. Beyonce,Rihanna) this while make you look like you have beautiful glowy skin. I can't get enough of it. Its not glittery at all. It's just...indescribable.lol It just looks like the light is hitting you perfectly. I have fallen in love. Sometimes I use my finger to apply and other times I use a fluffy brush. Either way, it goes on perfectly. I'm so glad I bought it.
My mom and I each received samples of this mascara after spending a certain amount of money at the MAC counter at Nordstrom(that or the girl who helped us was just being nice.lol). I'm SO glad she did. I've been skeptical of high end mascaras since MUFE Smokey Lash and Benefit Bad Gal mascaras SUCKED big time for me.I've been sticking with my Rimmel London mascaras. I decided to give the MAC one a try and it did wonders for my lashes. It doesn't make them full but that's not something I really care about when it comes to mascara;I just want length and darkness. I like the piecey- 60's look when it comes to lashes. This mascara is extremely black and makes my lashes look so long. I was blown away at just one swipe! And it's only $15. I'm definitely purchasing this next time I'm at MAC just to readily have when I run out of the sample.
My search for the perfect foundation is OVER.I have fallen in love with this.I was a little skeptical since it's so expensive and it's meant for dry skin types. But Tahoe is the absolute perfect match for my skin.I was amazed. It doesn't last really really long but I don't mind that because I'm not wearing it for that long anyway.I just wanted to test out it's longevity. It has a wonderful natural finish and medium, buildable coverage, which I also love.I kept looking for full coverage makeup when I actually don't need that much.I just need to add on to spots that need a little more coverage. For the summer time,I'll try the Sheer Matte.I took off a lippie because I have to purchase a pump. It's only $6 but it should at least be included.
Eye Shadow -Maybelline - Color Tattoo 24hr Cream Gel Shadow
littlecrush 2/8/2012 9:41:00 PM
LOVE this product.I bought one in Tough as Taupe.Although it came off more gray,I still like it.It applied smoothly and evenly.I used it as a base for this purple eye look 10 o'clock this morning. Here it is,almost a full 12 hours and my eye makeup looks as fresh as it did this morning.I am very impressed.I have really oily lids and always have a problem with creasing. But not today. Will definitely be buying the rest of the colors;except for the purple since I've seen reviews and swatches and it's the only shade that has bad payoff.
Idk if it's the foundation or if the MUA matched me wrong at the store, but this looked horrible when I got home.I'm thinking that she may have matched me wrong.I hate those little lit mirrors in MAC.The spot she tried it on looked like a perfect match.I got home,it was yellow and ugly.I was highly upset.I'm going to exchange it and see if I can get a better match.Or just get Studio Fix.I REALLY wanted to love this and own it.
Moisturizers -The Body Shop - Tea Tree Skin Clearing Lotion
littlecrush 1/20/2012 10:20:00 PM
Okay, yes this little tube is pricey.I reluctantly bought it for $13 at Sephora. But a little goes a long way for me. It did kind of make my dry spots drier so I only use it where my skin is oiliest. It really keeps my oil at bay and has a menthol-y scent which are the only things I like about it. It did not clear my skin at all. I will be repurchasing for the sake of shine control but it'll be a while before that because, as before stated, I only need a little at a time;like a pea size or smaller.
Lip Treatments -eos - Lip Balm Sphere - Summer Fruit

LOVE LOVE LOVE this balm. It's moisturizing and hydrating and lasts for a long time. I love the smell and taste(lol). I also love the tangerine one, which is the first one I tried. The shape is so adorable and kind of makes it fun to apply.
