Cleansers -Unlisted Brand - Huggies Natural Care Baby Wipes
rated 5 of 5

I use these to remove my make up or to just help cool myself down on a hot day. I love these!! I used baby wipes all through high school. Makeup remover wipes always were to expensive, for me anyway. And they never seemed to work. I always needed two to get all my makeup off. They left my skin feeling oily or like I had some film on my face. Did not like it at all. I decided to try baby wipes an was shocked! Not only do you get soooo many more wipes for the same price if not cheaper they work better too. I use them to clean my brushes too. In between my hard core brush cleaning that is. I also use them to get makeup off of the counter and other miscellaneous messes. Like cleaning my son'a face. Huggies wipes are my favorite. I found the pampers to be too wet and the wipe itself to be too soft and stretchy. (hard to explain but that's the best I can do) And their solution left my face feeling dry. Higgies don't do that! They are quite refreshing!!

Fragrances -Thierry Mugler - Angel

When I first saw this perfume, I fell in love with the bottle. And that was the only reason I wanted it. I read on the Thierry Mugler website the description about the fragrance and it sounded good. I'm alway reluctant to order perfume online. And I'm glad I waited. I received a sample of Angel from Macy's. It was awful! I couldn't stand to be near it. Too strong of a smell for me. Way too overpowering as well.

TWaH is an amazing glittler polish! The layering possibilities are endless and gorgeous! My favorite combo is over a green or teal polish. Right now I'm wearing one coat over two of OPI Don't Touch my Tutu, and it's beautiful! Thinking about putting another layer of OPI over to soften it just a touch. Amazing polish! Everyone needs it!

Treatments -Qtica - Half Time Polish Drying Accelerator
rated 2 of 5

So I like this product, because so far, its done what it has claimed to do. It is pretty expensive for a tiny bottle. And I don't like the little dropper it comes with, since it doesn't reach the bottom of the bottle. Nor do I like the tiny bottle. It is quite oily, and I wasn't expecting that. Since these are the first drying drops I've ever had. But I should have expected that. Honestly, just go buy a dropper at Sally's and use any cuticle oil you have. It does the same thing. And is easier on your wallet since you can get a 2.5oz bottle of beauty secrets cuticle oil and a dropper for the same price as this measly .25 oz bottle, if not less. So if you don't want to shell out for it, there is a better alternative. It's what I'm going to do from now on. Hope this helps.

Treatments -Creative Nail Design - Cuticle Eraser
rated 4 of 5

I love what this does for my cuticles!! On the other hand, I'm not too fond of the smell. To me, it smells like the Smarties candy. I never really liked that candy, so I see why I don't like it. The price wasn't bad. I wouldn't pay the $11 at Ulta. But $5 at a supply store is a pretty good deal to me. I didn't like the nozzle that this came with. I wish the tip was rounded off, like the Poshe cuticle cream I had. Other than that, no complaints here! I love it. Hope this helps someone.

Treatments -Qtica - Natural Nail Growth Stimulator
rated 5 of 5

I bought this a few days ago. (1/26/2012) and used it right away. I did one coat of just the Qtica and let it be. Later that night I decided to lightly press on my nails, just to see if one coat does anything. I was SHOCKED!! I have always had very weak, brittle nails that peel and chip. But I actually got some resistance. I haven't seen any growth, but its only been two days. I'll update again soon! I love this stuff so far! **Update**(1/31/2012) I love this stuff. I notice a HUGE resistance difference when I lightly press on them. I have noticed my nails growing slightly faster. And I like that, since my nails grow extremely slow.

Top/Base Coats -Seche Vite - Dry Fast Top Coat
rated 1 of 5
lisaxlove 1/28/2012 2:25:00 AM

I absolutely can not stand this top coat. I bought one bottle and I hated it instantly. The smell was really strong, at least it was for me. I used it over many different polishes with different finishes, different base coats, anything I could control, I tried to change. But I got the same result every time! Within a few hours the polish had literally shrunk and peeled clean off, in one piece! ):< I was so frustrated with it. Back in October, Seche Vite was being sold with a pink polish that was free with the purchase of the top coat. So I figured why not. Thinking the previous bottle was maybe a bad batch or was at the store too long, I figured I'd try a new one. But same results! But this time it also peeled off in little strips, as well as shrunk. Not worth it. And I am just now learning about this birth defects thing!! WTF?!?! I am EXTREMELY grateful that I stopped using this long before I got pregnant!! **Update** I looked at my other Seche products, after I wrote this review, and they ALL have a warning!! Seche Clear- birth defect warning. Rebuild- cancer warning. I never read the bottles before, because I didn't think it wouldn't have such amazing reviews if it has dangerous chemicals in it.

Polishes -Zoya - Pippa
rated 5 of 5
lisaxlove 1/27/2012 5:00:00 AM

Honestly; I love this polish. I think its amazing and I have no problems with the application of this polish at all. I only need two coats, sometimes three, and its beautiful. What I do is a really thin coat on each nail, and another coat that's a little thicker, but not a lot. If I'm putting a shatter or crackle on top or a glitter top coat- I stop at two. If I just want the yellow, I do three. Amazing color pay off. The best yellow I own!! **Update** I tried this with OPI Super Bass shatter. And it is a nice combination. I really like the contrasting colors. I think its lovely.

Polishes -Zoya - Mitzi
rated 1 of 5

Okay, so this is one of Zoya's matte polishes. I got this one with the matte blue one that was released with this collection. I do like the color, and the bottle it came in. But, like the other reviewer said- it is a pain to apply evenly. I figure you have to work with it like a creme polish. But a really fast drying one- since matte polishes dry quickly. All in all; I think Zoya polishes are quite expensive. But I like how the bottle itself has a matte finish, as well as the top. I know I wont buy this polish; or any Zoya matte polishes again, ONLY because they are hard to work with. They are beautiful colors. Just tricky.

Polishes -OPI - Black Shatter
rated 3 of 5
lisaxlove 1/27/2012 2:32:00 AM

Okay. So I am on the fence with this shatter. I got this back when they first came out, which is quite a while ago. The consistency is quite thick. I personally find it hard to work with. I don't find myself using this often. So whenever I'm in my polish drawer I shake all the shatters I have to keep them from drying out. When I say shake, I mean shake violently. Not roll between your hands. This polish is a bit..... needy? I guess that would be the best way to describe it. Since the rim is always caked with polish. What I do to fix this is take a cotton swab dipped in polish remover and clean around the inside part of the bottle, (just where you scrape the excess polish off) outside if need be, and the plastic part of the brush. (NOT THE BRUSH ITSELF!!) This is still my first and only bottle of black shatter, as I may not need to ever buy another one. They last if you take care of them. I do hope this helps some people having problems with this polish.

Polishes -OPI - Super Bass Shatter
rated 4 of 5
lisaxlove 1/27/2012 1:47:00 AM

I love this shatter. I came across it at Ulta and had to get!! It is such a unique color for a shatter and the shimmer it has is beautiful. It's kind of a berry-plum-grape kind of purple. Either way, it's an amazing color. I love the brush this shatter comes with. It's the widest brush I have in any of my shatters. I can do a whole nail in two strokes! The consistency is also something I must rave about. Its much thinner, like the pink shatter that was released last year. It's not all thick and goopy like the others. And I hope it stays that way! I hate having to always clean my shatters every single time I use them! The only reason I gave it a 4 was because it doesn't work on matte polishes! ): (I had China Glaze in Little Drummer Boy on with China Glaze in Fairy Dust on top and a matte top coat to finish it all off) I was slightly disappointed in that aspect. I'm not sure if the other shatters work on matte polishes or not, as this is the first time I've tried that combination. **Update** I tried a few other shatters over a matte polish- and it was a bust. It kinda saddens me. But nothing I can't get over.
