Loose Powders -Palladio - Rice Powder
lisadoc 9/18/2005 6:22:00 PM
This is a great loose powder for $5 compared to spending the usual $28 on mine. However, I purchased warm beige it adds a slight amount of color to even skin tone & adds a soft matte to my m/u. It does have a small amt. of fragrance but, nothing that irritated or break out my sensitive skin. I dont think the frag. a big deal, but as said just about in every review the packaging sucks! I instead transfered the powder into a old SK mini loose powder container--fits perfect into my purse & gym bag. I sparingly use it with a brush for a more natural effect. In future, I will be purchasing this again. I highly recommend.

Blush -Rimmel - Apricot [DISCONTINUED]
lisadoc 8/27/2005 11:58:00 AM
I am so sensitive to blushes but, this one is one of the best I used. I so do not like the packaging but, the color leaves me glowy & lasts all day. I recommend this especially if you dont want to pay $20 bucks for a blush I got this for like $2. This is a wonderful product & will repurchase. If Rimmel could only work on the packaging it would be so much more convienent.

Primer/ Corrector -Clinique - Pore Minimizer Instant Perfector
lisadoc 7/28/2005 11:50:00 PM
I have always had a problem having my foundation sink into my pores or what i call them ice pick holes in my cheeks. I am now 30something and it took me to find this wonderful product invented which has saved me from applying makeup everyday! I cannot believe how flawless this makes my skin look after applying my hg concealer and pore minimizer with a natural gloss and i am set! This is the first time ever that i dont need all that gunk i have been applying since i was a teen. I feel more confident about myself and i now have more eye contact with my clients. Anyway, I am planning on buying tubes of this stuff hopefully Clinique will never discontinue stuff. This one product that has become my holy grail...Thanks to allthe muaer's for the fine reviews and thanks to clinique for making my face flawless again. EDIT:it still is an awesome product but, if I apply it everyday it starts to clogg up my pores so use sparingly from day to day.

Love this product. I have such thick, coarse & dry hair from flat irons. This beats other products i have tried out of the ballpark. My hair is sooo soft & straight not to mention it smells good. You cant beat the price compared to other high end rated products. I highly recommend!

This is the first gel cleanser for me. I was skeptical about the added fragrance. But, you cant even tell. This make my face very soft and causes no reaction to my sensititve skin. It removes all makeup and I dont feel any tightness compared to other gel cleansers. I would buy this product again.

Loose Powders -Merle Norman - Merle Norman Luxiva Flawless Effect Loose Powder
lisadoc 1/13/2005 3:27:00 PM
Just recenlty purchased this product it is one of the best powders I have tried. It is finely milled powder that has optical diffusers for a soft but glowy look. It feels like silk on my skin, I have yet to even touch up it has lasted most of the day. I have very sensitive skin, and most of the time I don't have success with MU. This product has not caused any reaction and completely cover the redness on my cheeks. It claims its for all skin types, oil free, fragrance free, non caking & non-comedogenic. Hope it lives up to what it claims. Overall, i recommend this product. :)

Blush -Mary Kay - Blushes
lisadoc 10/16/2004 4:40:00 PM
Been using MK blushes for years! These are the only ones that dont react to my sensitive skin. This always seems to give a nice glow to my skin. I recently purchased the island spice (nice duo by the way) & nutmeg. I always apply it on my foudation be4 applying MK loose powder for a natural look. I highly recommend!

Liquid -Mary Kay - Medium Coverage Foundation
lisadoc 10/16/2004 4:32:00 PM
I agree with the other reviewer. I had to apply this with a damp sponge for some reason it was a little too drying my combo skin. It emphasized my pores and caused whiteheads on my nose. The color Ivory 202 was a perfect match -- as a matter of fact the only foundation to truly match my skintone. This does last all day without touching up so much. Although, this was an okay foundation for me i think im going to try the full coverage for dry skin instead. Overall, if you have oily skin this aint that bad.

Moisturizers -Dove - Sensitive Essentials Night Cream
lisadoc 9/5/2004 9:58:00 PM
Okay, I have tried everything and anything to hydrate my sensitive combo skin with redness on my cheeks. Nothing has worked on my skin until this product appeared. I have been using it for 2 weeks straight every nite before i go to bed. I have waken up to soft glowy skin. No breakouts, no redness, no clogged pores. My makeup went on flawless. From now on I will only stick to this product I think it actually healed my sensitivity. It's a HG for me. For all those sensitive ppl. out there I highly recommend this.

Moisturizers -Origins - Constant Comfort Moisturizer Cream
lisadoc 4/21/2004 10:37:00 PM
I really wanted to likethis product. The first week i purchased it my face was even toned i had less redness and a nice glow--but, after the second week i began to get tiny bumps on my forehead and chin. I figured it was the cream made with all those "essential oils". I would have loved it if it didnt irritate my sensitive rosecea skin. For now still on a search for that perfect cream.

Liquid -Origins - Stay Tuned Foundation
lisadoc 4/11/2004 7:50:00 PM
I got this product 2 wks. ago a friend that has flawless skin recommended this for my rosecea extremely sensitive skin-- I hesitated cuz nothing wks. on my skin the only i have found to wk. was my HG Px. I gave this foundation a try and I am so fond of this it was cheap and goes flawless on my rosecea skin. After testing it on my face for 2 wks. to see it if i would get some kind of reaction. Well, results are I havent had one single reaction. I have light yellow skin and I finally found a color to match in Nude. This is a nice product with sensitive combo skin. This lasted on my face from day to nite with a few touchups. This is one product I highly recommend! One complaint though: Packaging needs to be worked on.

Liquid -Maybelline - Wonder Finish
lisadoc 3/8/2004 2:31:00 PM
Bought this product with a 3$ off coupon- so i got a pretty good deal. I was curious on how this was going to make my sensitive skin react. Usually I would stick with my Px Virtual Skin. But, i needed to pick up something quick from the drugstore. I normally cannot wear drugstore foundations due to my rosecea very sensitive skin. So far I like this little bottle i stumbled on. I purchased it in Light #4 for my yellow toned skin. I love the fact it takes only half the time to apply than my usual routine. Also i didnt have to apply my loose pwder. or blend as much. It was simple and quick. I like the way my face feels and dosent feel like i have it on. So far so good. I will keep wearing this product as long as my skin lets me. Oh yea one more thing it dosent emphasize my large pores, flaky skin. For once u cant see it in natural light! Overall, good choice I highly recommend!

Liquid -Almay - Skin-Smoothing Foundation with Kinetin SPF 15 [DISCONTINUED]
lisadoc 2/16/2004 3:23:00 PM
I was looking for a low end foundation being that I ran out of my Px Virtual Skin-I must say not bad at all. I have very sensitive skin and its hard for me find something that wont irritate or breakout my face. This foundation is a Great product I purchased this in Neutral it hides my pores and whitehead on my nose. Even out in the sun my face looked great. I highly recommend.**UPDATE: since i have used this product i broke out in 4 little cystic pimples. I dont know if it was the kinetin or what. I really enjoyed the product. Oh well, still on my search for my HG.
