I purchased the mascara on a whim. For 4.00 I can't believe how fabulous the mascara performs. Equipped with a classic soft bristled brush. The formula is very black,delicately buildable and holds curl. It does a fabulous job of lengthening lashes. It lasts all day, stays black and doesn't flakes or crisp. I get many compliments. It has been almost a month without getting thick, grey or drying up. I'm highly impressed. For ladies on a budget. I highly recommend "WoW" Lash.

Eyeliner -Rimmel - Extreme Definition Two-tone Eye Definer

The duo liner is an extreme white. The opposite side is black. For those who are looking for white. This is the whitest liner I have ever tried. It would be a great purchase for those who want or need a pure white. The black looked impressive through the package. It is super black however it's performance is poor. No matter how many quality eye primers, paints and decreases are used. The black immediately creases, smudges, turns grey and wears off within less then an hour. In conclusion "Trend Setter" is great for the white side. The black is very poor and is somewhat irritating. I can't say one good thing about the black liner.

Eye Shadow -NYX - Jumbo eyeshadow pencil- Lemon

If you have oily lids,"Watch out"! It smudges even if your wearing your best eye primer. I would never recommend it for the crease. It's highly shimmery and I'm guessing it is oil based since two shadow sticks are impossible to blend. It could be used as a wash for the light green shadow enthusiast. I myself can't find a spectacular use for it. It is really not one of my favorites.

Lipstick -NYX - Diamond Sparkle in Sparkling Apricot

When hearing the word Apricot for lipstick Instantly especially if any kind of orange is involved. It would make a lady want to run. I pulled apricot out of my collection and decided to wear it. I didn't think I would like it. I really found that I like it and its a shade that is that is not dominated by Orange. Sparkling Apricot is a beautiful subtle sheer peach tint when worn alone. There is micro fine glitter I highly suggest lining the lips very well and blotting. It could easily be paired with a matte peach or nude so the glitter wont fall out. This lipstick does not discriminate. Its very nice for all light to medium skin tones and a great find. I do like NYX's Diamond Sparkles. The packaging is great especially if you like to organize your collection by color since the bottom is a clear plastic that reveals the shade. Many lipsticks usually dont make it on my staple or must have lipstick list. It is a great lipstick and great quality.

Eye Shadow -Maybelline - dream mousse eyeshadow in heavenly pink

Maybellines Dream Mousse Shadow in 70 Heavenly Pink is a dud. I used a usual Trish McEvoy brush to apply the shadow. The thick pink shadow that is seen in the Jar looks nothing like it when applied to the eyes. The pink shade is not buildable it stays the same no matter how much the attempt to build it up is. Its a very sheer pearly pink that I don't like. It does last long however that's not a reason to like it. It could be salvaged by wearing it as a base with a plush pigmented shadow from a favorite makeup line. I don't suggest this eye shadow.

Eye Shadow -NYX - Nude

NYX nude is a staple I use it on top of my de-crease for the day as a layer and then choose whatever shade I want to use as a base. Because it is so nude It doesn't really show on an NC20 or higher. It has last me a year and I have not hit pan yet although it is almost there. It lasts for hours. It is very great quality. Packaging rather you depot or not It sits fine in its container alone. I have the nude and light shades all in separate NYX single packages. I think they might have added nudes to a 3 or more palette. NYX are great eye shadows for any kind of mu looks and staple shades for looks NYX has it. By the photo my shadow looks lighter NYX must of done away with the flat powder nude

Eye Shadow -Maybelline - Dream Mousse shadow Vanilla Veil

If your looking for a beautiful translucent Ivory shade for the arch of your eyes I highly suggest dream mousse shadow in Vanilla Veil With a good brush again I use the Trish McEvoy flat brush. It takes a very small amount to apply. It is a nice high quality shade of ivory Its not tinted yellow or flawed like other cream shadows. It lasts for over 7 hours Its a beautiful highlight to the arch area there is no cheap glitter in it. Its texture is a thick cream and it wears nicely. The price is cheap. Quality mint. The Packaging is a small easy screw top jar. It could be used in combination as a base to a white shadow powder or alone. I wear it alone depending on what look I choose. I would repurchase it.

Eye Shadow -Maybelline - dream mousse shadow-tranquil rose

If your looking for a nice metallic shade with a hint of rose to cool down the brass of the copper this is a beauty. Maybellines dream mousse shadows are not easy to work with. Its why people give up on them. Cream shadows in general are. I always suggest investing in good brushes. Good brushes give better results. I used a Trish McEvoy small flat brush. After applying my shadow base I then gently swept the eye shadow on. Not only were the results amazing but my eye shadow lasted 7 hours It was late in the evening when I took it off. Good price. Screw top packaging. I don't guarantee repurchases unless its a staple since I have plenty of product in the Jar. I do suggest it though.

Lip Gloss -Christian Dior - DiorKiss - 008 - Sorbet Meringue

Sorbet Meringue is one of my most favorite of lip gloss. Elegant when worn alone because the sun hits it like an optical illusion of diamond dust crushed and dabbed on the lips. The high quality micro illuminating glitter flecks are great and can be worn for any scene uptown, down town, clubbing or casual or any time of day or with a little makeup and a signature fragrance with the hair up. The glitter doesn't fall out and on the lips and it's not tacky. Highlights and Sunshine. A little goes a long way. With any glitter product no matter how well the glitter is blended into the texture. I always suggest 2 powerful nude and flesh tone lip liners to double line the lips.

Lip Treatments -The Body Shop - Lip Butter - Shea

So I tried The Body Shops Shea lip butter. It did not do anything special for my lips. I exfoliated and applied I didn’t get more then 10 minutes of moisture from it. It didn’t last, it dried my lips, and I had to re-apply it. For Shea butter it didn’t smell as good as it could have in comparison to other brands I have tried. Using up half the pot in a week. I tossed it. I will not purchase lip butter from the body shop again although a few other choices of flavors seem hard to resist. Shea lip butter did not do one thing for my lips. It is listed as a lip treatment. It doesn’t treat or moisturize. It seems nothing more than a chunk of Crisco oil on the lips and it is my opinion that the body shop lip butters are fancy cheap lip ingredients in a fancy signature lip pot.

I honestly can’t say 1 thing close to positive about it. It doesn't moisturize, it doesn’t last, it taste like heavy perfume. Don't let the name fool you. It doesn't do anything for the lips. The guarana fragrance is so strong it can be melted down to fragrance oil. I wouldn't purchase it if it were marked down to a penny. The Body Shops "guarana" lip butter is one of the worse lip products I have ever tried.

This was an impulse purchase I never tested it. I bought it because of the notes I read were in it. I opened the fragrance sprayed it on and I loved it instantly. For an impulse purchase I got lucky with this. It is definatly wild strawberries that caught my attention. Like a natural strawberry it sweet and natural NOT strawberry sweet like strawberries in corn syrup. I can spray it more then 1 time and its never too heavy. It is not too light either. I cant compare it to Fantasy or other Sweet fragrances It is its "own fragrance". It isn't sickening sweet like Fantasy can be although I do have fantasy in my collection.Comparisons to it would be false. It is not like any of SJPs other fragrances. Lovely was too mature and ordinary SJPYNC is unique. It is great for any age. I'm not a SJP fan I never have been and this fragrance does not remind me of her at all or the whole Sex in the City theme. It doesn't smell cheap and a subtle dry down leaves a harmonious blend of the consistent wild strawberries a peek-a-boo arrival of fresh! red roses, subtle honeysuckle and a shy vanilla with a touch of rum. If you love sweet fragrances this is fabulous. The fragrance lasts for up to 6 hours. Packaging is a removable deep pink case with scrapbook patterns on the outer deep twistable case with the fragrance inside and the signature on top. People don't seem to like. I like it. I will continue to keep it in my collection. Its great for any occasion. I use it casually and have been spraying it often. I will be sticking with it. NOTES -Top notes mandarin, white acanthus and strawberry THE HEART gardenia honey suckle,mimosa and red roses. BASE musk, sandalwood vanilla and rum.

Fragrances -Juicy Couture - Fragrance

After wearing juicy couture. I couldn't get past what had me thinking "Huge white flower",Its walk into the flower shop or a walk in through miles of a garden. The spray remains the same scent as the dry down nothing really changes. Many people claim that it is sweet or fruity. It is not sweet in terms of exotic fruit or foodie notes. I think floral, woods and musk wearers have that particular opinion. I wont deny I did detect the most subtle of a fruit that. I would not classify as sweet. It is a good day time fragrance. Appropriate for any age. I would say it best suits someone casually. This is definitely a fragrance for strong floral admirers. Its not musky or annoying. The bottle is nice signature design, The fragrance doesn't smell cheap. It is a good quality scent meaning its Not doused with cheap additives that reak cheap notes. Always test a fragrance before purchasing. Dont be shy to ask to test fragrances in your local boutiques. In all fairness being honest Juicy Couture is not for me.

Halle fragrance is a blend of rich musks that are overwhelming when first sprayed when the heart of the fragrance drys down its a warm amber and vanilla scent. I don't like musks and they are sickening but this isn't bad for a musk. For those who like musky fragrances and want a decent quality fragrance this would not be a bad choice. It was easy to guess most notes in it. All the musks,sensual amber,sandalwood and driftwood seem to be the most dominating.I will rate it 2 lippies for quality. I think its a good scent is more of a mature older casual woman who likes her musks. It is not for me. I would never purchase. Notes Fig, Pear Blossom, Cashmere Musk, Cashmere Musk, Bergamot, Sensual Amber, Freesia, Mimosa, Ultra Mimosa, Hibiscus, Driftwood, Sandalwood, Olibanum

Moisturizers -Clinique - Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief

I wasn't sure I liked it after a week of using it however first time users shouldn't expect quick results from any cream for at least a few weeks. I continued using it because It does quickly absorb and eliminate dryness. Always Having combination dry skin I can say I Have normal to dry skin now. After months of using the cream it has attributed to making my face look clean and fresh. I get comments that I have a healthy glow. I just love the fact it drys so quickly. The clear pink gel like formula can't be felt after 5 minutes. One would not guess they are wearing a cream. I cant feel it. I cant smell it. Its obvious I don't like heavy or smelly creams. It can be worn alone or as a base. I'm thinking of trying or venturing in other products by Clinique. I have gone through 2 Jars and have a backup. Update 2/27/11 ~ I took a lipstick off and will add that I use Lancomes Genefique daily. Clinique is a fabulous gel and is infused with different ingredients. although the ingredients listed are better for the skin. I like Genifque so much more.
