If you love the scent of lavender, you'll like this. I'm on my second tube and while it is expensive, it lasts a long time. Gentle and left my normal to dry skin in good condition.

Moisturizers -Alchimie Forever - Kantic Lights Off

It is a nice, whipped moisturizer and is meant to be used in conjunction with the Alchimie diodes. While the cream is fine, I couldn't stand the overpowering scent. Fairly reasonable price but I would not buy again.

Moisturizers -L'Occitane - Radiance Moisturizing Cream [DISCONTINUED]

Believe all the hype. This moisturizer is amazing. It has a light, fluffy consistency but has healed my dry, flaky winter skin after one use. I love the scent and I found it better than other very high priced items. Combined with the olive face scrub, it will do wonders for your skin!

Skincare - Face -L'Occitane - Olive Harvest Face Scrub Mud

After trying a bunch of gentle scrubs (dermalogica, remede, origins etc), this is by far the best I've come across. I left it on for about 15 minutes, added a little warm water to exfoliate using the granules, and my face is unbelievably soft and supple. I can't rave enough about the olive line. HG item! I'm stocking up.

Shampoo -Frederic Fekkai - Protein Rx Reparative Shampoo

I was skeptical about Fekkai. I had gotten haircuts at his salon and the shampoo and conditioner used didn't really work for me. But I've gotten sick of Kerastase and was drawn to the vanilla/musk scent. This shampoo worked like a charm! Left my dry, color-treated hair shiny and soft. I liked it so much I went out and bought the big bottle the next day. Would definitely recommend.

Mascara -Yves Saint Laurent - Mascara Aquaresistant

Darn. Another HG item that costs a pretty penny. I've been on the hunt for the perfect mascara and this comes close. It does miracles for my short, skimpy, stick straight asian lashes. Holds the curl and makes my lashes dark and long. Does smear a bit but a light dusting of powder should help.

I tried the Somme Institute line at the recommendation of my facialist - she said she uses it herself. After a few weeks I am a devoted fan. I have not had a single blemish since I started using this line and my skin is refined, toned and my acne scars are fading. The cream is light, not sticky and has a nice citrus scent. For people with very dry skin, you may need another moisturizer on top. Take it from someone who has tried everything - La Mer, Cle de Peau, MD Forte, Jan Marini, Dr. Hauschka etc. - go out and buy this line!

HG item! My facialist suggested that I try the Somme institute line after my normal to dry skin started breaking out like mad - something I never dealt with even as a teenager. I love this line - it helped to regulate my skin again without overstripping it like the MD Forte and Jan Marini products I was using. The pads helped exfoliate my skin and left a slight tingling sensation. After a few weeks, it doesn't sting anymore. Your skin needs to get used to it. My skin is clear again and my scars from my acne is fading . I recently traveled through asia's hot, humid and dirty climate. Usually I break out like mad but not one single zit this time while using Somme. LOVE THIS STUFF!

I bought this after a facialist at Bliss recommended that I try a Vitamin C serum for my skin. Unfortunately, I really disliked this item. It left my skin sticky and my bf asked about the "funny smell." I'm sure that for $95, there are a lot more vitamin C products out there that are better. Maybe Awake.

Shampoo -Kerastase - Bain Satin 2 Shampoo

This is my holy grail of shampoos! I have thick, dry, color-treated hair and this shampoo made my hair soft and manageable. I've tried other shampoos because Kerastase is so expensive in the US but I keep coming back to the best. Now I buy it off eBay hoping for a better price.

This stuff is fantastic. My hands have been so dry and flaky that they hurt. I've tried a bunch of other stuff I've had around the house - Dr. Hauschka, Vera Wang body creme, La Mer (I was getting desperate) but nothing worked. After one application of this body butter, my hands are so much better and the skin doesn't flake anymore. It absorbs easily albeit a little bit greasy. Wonderful, wonderful.

Sunscreen -Dr. Hauschka - Sunscreen Stick spf 30

I use this sunscreen around my eyes. It works great, doesn't sting my eyes and the non-greasy formula meant that my makeup didn't smear. Except for the fact that it leaves a white-ish cast, it's a great item.

I really disliked this product. It left a burning sensation and the next day I woke up with a rash on my face. I was really surprised since I am rarely allergic or sensitive to products. The strong medicine-like scent also turned me off.
