Fragrance -Giorgio Armani - Acqua Di Gio (for men)
lionwind 2/18/2006 7:01:00 PM
My brother asked my advice about colognes since so I suggested Acqua di Gio and Black Code since he wanted to stay away from the typical high school Axe smell. After sampling them for a bit, he stuck with this one and i have to agree. I love the scent, it's so clean and fresh and I'm glad he chose this one. I was going to buy it for my boyfriend, but figured that since everyone is wearing this (it's that versatile) I'll find something else.
Lip Treatments -Neutrogena - Lip Boost intense moisture therapy

This was wonderful on my dry chapped lips. It's so dry at my school in winter and I find that my lips crack, my skin cracks, every drop of moisture is sucked out of my body. Thank goodness for Neutrogena Lip Boost intense moisture therapy. It did wonders for my lips! There's a faint smell but it's not offensive, the applicator tip is wonderful to use, and the results are phenomenal. It is a bit hard and thick to get out at first, but I stuck with it and when it became more liquid (I'm not sure why, but like someone else said, it turns into vaseline-esque texture) it goes on smoothly. The results were smooth super soft lips that I totally appreciate and so does my boyfriend =)
Lip Treatments -Neutrogena - Lip Nutrition Berry Smooth Balm
lionwind 2/16/2006 10:29:00 PM
This is another okay, not great, but not terrible. It's good for slathering on before bed because it'll do some moisturizing, but I find the lip boost intense moisture therapy to be much better. The berry smell is nice though.
Lip Treatments -Neutrogena - Lip Nutrition Mango Moisture Balm

This isn't anything special, it smells great, tastes bad and doesn't do much for me. I won't be rebuying it, their lip treatment is much much better in terms of moisturizing.
Lip Gloss -Sally Hansen - Diamond Lip Treatment in Royal Romance
lionwind 2/16/2006 9:23:00 PM
I love the smell, the scent, the taste, everything! It goes on smoothly, without being too sticky, smells great without being overpowering, and the color is just right so that it looks great on just about all of my friends regardless of skin tone! With all that and decent lasting power, nice shimmer and shine, this one's a winner!
Mascara -L'Oreal - Featherlash waterproof [DISCONTINUED]
lionwind 2/16/2006 9:13:00 PM
This was my first mascara and I absolutely adore it! I wanted a more natural look something that I could use everyday and this definitely does the trick. It doesn't flake, clump or weigh down my lashes. It removes easily with a bit of makeup remover. I will probably buy this again but now that I'm more comfortable with mascara I may branch out for a slightly more dramatic look.
Treatments -AcneFree - Acne and Blackhead Terminator
lionwind 2/16/2006 9:07:00 PM
I saw this in walmart and it said it was comparable to proactive, using the same 3 step plan to reduce breakouts so I decided to give it try. It worked wonders, the breakouts decreased and the acne was disappearing. It did dry out my skin quickly so I use it every other day. Definitely a good call on my part since it's not as costly as Proactive but works really well.
Cleansers -Estee Lauder - Perfectly Clean Splash Away Foaming Cleanser
lionwind 2/16/2006 8:57:00 PM
I received this as a gift, it's my first experience with a "high end" cleanser as well. It's not as much a gel as a cream. I loved the smell and it does a good job cleaning, but it's not designed to deal with acne so if that's what you're looking for this wouldn't be the product. I love using this but I don't think I'm willing to pay such a price when I can probably get the same basic cleanser in any line for a better price.
Hair Removal -Unlisted Brand - Skintimate Shaving Gel
lionwind 2/16/2006 8:51:00 PM
I love the Skintimate Shaving Gels, they provide such a nice thick lather cushion that I never worry about nicking myself. When I used the Apple Berry Crush, I was itching like crazy, but for some reason, Melon Burst doesn't have that effect on me and smells great to boot! Since there seems to be some inconsistency with the various scents, I think I'll just stick to Melon Burst to avoid any weird skin reactions.
Conditioner -Pantene - Pantene Smooth and Sleek Conditioner
lionwind 2/16/2006 8:40:00 PM
This conditioner works great in my thick hair. I can actually feel my hair getting smoother as I use it~unfortunately I can't use it that frequently, it tends to leave my hair weighted down, waxy, and oily so I use this maybe once a month. Won't be repurchasing because I have a giant bottle and at the rate I'm going, I'll never run out.
Shampoo -Neutrogena - T/Gel anti-dandruff for normal to dry hair
lionwind 2/16/2006 8:35:00 PM
My dermatologist recommended T-Gel after using Head and Shoulders and Selsun Blue. It seems to work okay, I use it twice to three times a week, but I'm beginning to wonder if Selsun Blue worked better. It definitely smelled better than T-Gel, that's for sure, but hey, if this works I guess I'll stick with it.
I love the smell and the color! For daytime use, I prefer to put a small amount on so that it tints my lips red without looking too garish but for nights out, it's safe to layer it on. It is quite sticky but the color and smell make up for the texture. Wish the applicator tip was slanted rather than round, but I get around that by using my finger. I think though, next time I'll try some different colors, maybe something lighter in color and less pigmented.
Lotions/ Creams -Jergens - Soft Shimmer Skin Radiance Moisturizer [DISCONTINUED]
lionwind 2/16/2006 8:19:00 PM
The shimmer in this is great, it's nice and subtle instead of "glittery" as someone had already mentioned. As far as the moisturizing, it's not great and the smell is a bit repulsive but again, if used sparingly it looks great! Not too sure I'd repurchase just because I don't use it that often so I'm not sure if I'll ever run out...
Lip Gloss -Caboodles - Lip Jelly in Pina Colada Shake
lionwind 2/16/2006 2:09:00 PM
It smells just like its name, I love the coconut smell. It's not as sticky as Caboodles' frutopian stuff so that's a definite plus. It's nice and shiny but you REALLY have to squeeze it to get it out! I will probably repurchase because it's cheap and pretty nice, especially for summer.
Lips -Caboodles - Fruitopian lipgloss in Strawberry Cream
lionwind 2/16/2006 2:00:00 PM
This is too thick and smells artifically sweet like strawberries. I don't like it much but some people do. It's shiny which is nice. I ended up giving this to my cousin who's in middle school and she loves it.
