Before I started using this, I didn't use a toner, but I think this was a perfect start. Since I started using it the amount of acne that I get has really died down. I went from having little tiny bumps all over my forehead plus huge pimples to only having one large pimple at a time to having no acne. I have never been able to keep my skin acne free for as long as I have now, using this product. It did take time for it to really work for me, but I'm glad that I have it. I have sensitive skin and it didn't excessively dry or irritate it My only complaint is the smell and the packaging, it spills often when I try to pour it out. My use: I apply it on a cotton pad and rub it all over my face. It stung a tiny bit and made my skin feel really tight the first time I used it, but my skin got used to it. I use this with a gel-type prodcut from the same line and Zapzyt spot on acne control. I was wowed. Would definitely buy again!

I did a science project on effective topical acne medications, and this was one of the most effective that I tested on my bacteria, so I decided to try it myself. I don't think this product is a miracle spot treatment, not even close. It still took the pimples I applied this on a while to heal and disappear, but this did speed up the process a little bit. It wasn't overly drying and unlike other acne medications I've tried, didn't hurt my sensitive skin or make me red and blotchy. My use: I use this only at night (the time when your skin does the most healing) because I think it's too strong to use two times a day. I apply it directly on my pimple with my finger and rub it in. It isn't invisible and does leave a white film around your zit, so I wouldn't use it right before going anywhere. When I wake up in the morning there is some flakes of product where it didn't blend into my skin, but no excess irritation or anything. Overall, I liked the product. But I think I'll try something different next time.
Cleansers -Clinique - Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm

This is definitely my Holy Grail makeup remover. I love how it's a solid balm at first, and then turns into an oil! You get so much product for your purchase, and it lasts forever. I've had the same jar for around 6 months now and I still have plenty of product left. I didn't really know it was a total cleansing balm, I've been applying this to a cotton pad and using it as a simple eye makeup remover, which it works great as. It doesn't burn my eyes. I apply it generously, rub off the makeup, and then rinse with a gentle cleanser and the remover turns nice and creamy and washes off everything. I also really love this product because while still being oil-based, it isn't overly greasy and doesn't make my skin feel disgusting. I will definitely be repurchasing this makeup remover once I run out, and will be trying it as a cleansing product also! Good work, Clinique.

I really DID NOT like this product. It's very drying and hard to blend, and although it didn't irritate my blemishes, I didn't find it clearing them either. I also found it made my blemishes even more noticeable, and the consistency of the product was MUCH too chalky for my liking. It may have been a better product if it was in a cake form, but this chunkyish liquid consistency wasn't working for me. Wouldn't purchase it again, and I'm not sure why I haven't thrown out the one I have.
