Lipstick -Revlon - Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain - Honey
rated 5 of 5

Being a pale gal (NW15) I have trouble finding nudish shades that work well for me. Usually when I try something nude/natural I look like I died 2 days ago, or that they are too brown/orangey ... whatever. This shade Honey is perfect for me. It looks natural on me, but better -- the original my lips but better. I do not find the formula drying and the color lasts 4 to 5 hours. Great product.

Polishes -Revlon - Pink Chiffon

Lovely, pink that pops a little. That said this is the worst formula ever. Streaky does not begin to cover how bad this is. Disappointing. Usually with Revlon, you might not like a product, but usually you can count on a good formula. This is icky polish.

Cleansers -Sephora - Cleansing Water
rated 4 of 5
lillyrowan 5/6/2013 8:26:00 PM

This is a nice makeup remover. Is it perfect? Probably not for everyone. I find it takes off all my face makeup including a cream foundation very well. I don't wear a ton of mascara and it gets it off nicely. It has (to me) a pleasant scent (and I am usually sensitive to that). The bottle says that you do not have to rinse off, but if you do not, your (my) face is sticky. I too hope that Sephora does not discontinue this product. Compared to other similar products, it is a steal.

Polishes -China Glaze - Jetstream

I agree with most reviewers that the color that shows up on your nails really does not match what you see in the bottle. However, this polish has turned out to be one of my favorites. It is a sheer pinky/mauve that looks great on cool toned pale pink. Since it has so many negative reviews, I think I better stock up before it is discontinued!

Blush -MAC - Cream Soda
rated 4 of 5
lillyrowan 3/31/2013 11:01:00 PM

SA tried this on me and I was surprised by how nice it looked. Usually anything with even a hint of orange is a non-starter. However, it helped to cancel out some of the ruddiness in my complexion so I am a happy camper. It is a soft enough color that it does not overwhelm. For reference I am an NW 15. Never was a fan of Archie...so not a fan of the packaging.

Loose Powders -Graftobian - Loose Powder
rated 5 of 5
lillyrowan 2/10/2013 6:58:00 PM

Graftobian makes two types of face powders, one a foundation powder, and the other is a loose setting powder. I am writing about the loose setting powder. This is the best setting powder I have ever used. It seems to literally disappear into my skin. It does a great job of keeping my foundation in place. I use the translucent color, BUT there are two other shade choices a medium and a dark. The price is great. You can buy one of two sizes - a little shaker jar for around $5.00, or what appears to be a small vat for around $11.00. I have tried both the Channel and the MUFE -- this is WAY better.

Lipstick -Clarins - Rouge Prodige - 134 Orchid Pink
rated 5 of 5
lillyrowan 12/15/2012 1:48:00 PM

I usually do not buy high-end lipstick -- not when there are Revlon Lip products that are on a par with HE. However, Clarin's does make a great, relatively long-wearing, but moisturizing lip stick called Rouge Prodige --super comfortable to wear. I have this in Orchid Pink and it is a fabulous blueish, mauvish/pink with a touch of shimmer. It is an extremely wearable color and it is versatile too. Wear it to Walmart, work, or a party and you are good to go. For reference I am an NW15.

Pressed Powders -MAC - Mineralize Skinfinish Natural - Medium Dark
rated 4 of 5
lillyrowan 8/11/2012 10:39:00 AM

I am not a fan of MAC's mineralize skin finish powders in general, for reference I am an NW15. However, this one is great., and I use this for a contour and to warm things up in general. If I ever use this up (which) I doubt, I would use this again.

Gels/Soaps -Aveeno - Skin Relief Body Wash
rated 5 of 5
lillyrowan 7/22/2012 11:19:00 PM

This product has saved me from scratching my skin off in the winter. As I have gotten older, my skin has gotten dryer. I have tried all the 'regular' brands of drugstore body gels, and for me this is the clear winner hands down for dry skin. Before I found this, I was afraid that I would have to go to a dermatologist to find some skin relief. I am in general not a fan of Aveeno products, but if you have dry skin and you have not tried it -- GIVE IT A TRY. It may work for you. It is worth the extra money.

Lip Liners -Wet 'n' Wild - #666 liner

Good lip pencil, great value. Does what it is supposed to do; helps keep my lipstick or gloss last longer. Have tried many brands of lip pencil, and this is the best of the bunch (at least for me). For reference I am a NW15.

Foundations -Cover Girl - Covergirl and Olay Tone Rehab 2 in 1 Foundation
rated 1 of 5
lillyrowan 2/22/2012 9:29:00 PM

I love Olay products and I usually have good luck with Cover Girl, but not this time. The scent of this product over-whelmed me, and made me light-headed. One of the reviewers before warned that if you are sensitive to scent, this might be a problem. In my case it definitely was a problem. I probably had an extreme reaction to the scent, but if you are sensitive to scent, you might want to give this a pass.

Blush -NYX - Angel
rated 4 of 5
lillyrowan 2/18/2012 10:32:00 PM

Love the blush. Very soft and natural looking, with a nice texture. I am a NW15 and this is a wonderful shade for me. However, I'm not sure there would be much pay-off if you not a pretty fair person.

Treatments -Olay - Regenerist Daily Regenerating Serum
rated 5 of 5
lillyrowan 1/29/2012 4:29:00 PM

This has been a go-to product for several years now. In the summer I use it in place of a moisturizer, and in the winter I use in in the morning before I put my makeup on. It always leaves my skin feeling smooth and silky. I may stray occasionally away to other products (love to play!), but when I come back, I always wonder..."what was I thinking...this stuff is great!".

Lipstick -Revlon - Colorburst Lip Butter
rated 1 of 5
lillyrowan 1/8/2012 7:24:00 PM

Unfortunately this is the first Revlon lip product that I do not like. This product made my lips very dry and uncomfortable. Since, so many people find these moisturizing, I assume there is something in the product formula that does not agree with my skin.

Lipstick -NYX - Jumbo Lip Pencil - Pink Nude 703
rated 4 of 5
lillyrowan 8/20/2011 4:52:00 PM

This color is definitely not for everyone. However, if you are my age, the color and frost are a throw back to the "Rocking" 60's. It reminds of the color of one of the Yardley lipsticks that were so popular back when go-go boots were all the rage. What a trip back down memory lane!!!
