Eyeliner -Bare Escentuals - Buxom Insider Eyeliner

I'm on my 3rd one of these in black jasper. I'd about given up on lining my waterline and tight lining. Everything seemed to fade within an hour or 2. I tried the UD 24/7 eyeliner and that didn't last either. This is fantastic! I like the twist up tube and the fact that its thin and easily glides on with no tugging. Black jasper is almost black but not so dark as to look severe. $14 at Sephora and totally worth it.

Polishes -China Glaze - It's a trap-eze

SThis is from the Cirque du Soleil collex. A sheer, milky whitish base packed with multi colored glitter. Like a jelly sandwich butbetter IMO. The glitters seem to float on top of the base when applied, so they don't have a milky haze over them. I layered this over white and its just lovely! So packed with glitter only 2 coats and you're good to go. Glad I grabbed this one.

Polishes -Color Club - Very Merry Berry
lillybloo 12/3/2011 8:49:00 AM
The color combo on this one was so interesting, I grabbed it with no idea what I would do with it. In the bottle, it just looked so unique! Clear, thick susp base with small blue glitter and larger, chunky-ish fuschia glitter (reminds me of the glitter in FoF). A lot of swatches I've seen show it over lavender polish, and it didn't do anything for me. So yesterday, I went thru the stash to see what would look good. I decided on Zoya Savita as a base. And I loooove it! The glitter was sticking up everywhere and it's impossible to "brush" on, so I patted it around, dabbing the glitter over the polish. When it was semi-tacky, I gently tapped the glitter pieces smooth with my finger, then did 2 coats of OTD. This seemed to solve the "taco glitter" issue some ppl seem to have with this. Anyway, hope that little tip helps someone. This will look gorgeous over ChG BYE, and black, also. I prob won't use it much, but it's pretty and definately NOT your average glitter.

Polishes -Color Club - holiday splendor

Picked up the whole Beyond the Mistletoe set at Ross for $7.99 and am so glad I found it! I've swatched all of them, and I have to say that this one is probably my favorite. It's more of a teal than a Christmas-y green, with a nicely pigmented jelly base and TONS of sparkalicious holo and greenish glitter. The finish is alot less gritty than the others in this collection and 2 layers of tc smoothed it out nicely. Equally gorgeous on tips and toes. Glitter is very dense and its impossible not to see the holographic goodness! Love this one, and def need a backup; it ll look awesome all year round.

Lips -Revlon - Just Bitten Lip Stain in Beloved
lillybloo 11/22/2011 10:10:00 AM
Meh...another dud. The color on this is really lovely, a darkish brown-based pink on me, sort of a YLBB. But it dried out really fast, made my lips burn like a mother, and faded in about an hour. The balm end is just stupid, as it snaps off and then is useless. I also have this in Frenzy, a BRIGHT raspberry color. Love the colors, hate the formula. I personally thought the old Just Bitten (roller ball ones) were way better. I wouldn't waste the money on these again.

Lips -Maybelline - Color Sensational Lipstain
lillybloo 11/21/2011 11:04:00 AM
Still searching for the perfect lipstain. I adore the color of this: a bright, fire enginey red. It looks really nice on my pale, no longer tan skin. It doesn't seem to dry my lips out like some other marker-type lipstains do, but it doesn't last worth a crap either. The fine marker tip made it easy to get good, even coverage, but within an hour, it looked like I just had on red lip liner. And I didn't eat or drink anything; that was just from talking! So, yea, I WOULD buy this again just for the color (cherry pop), but A. it's not a good stain and B. this color is being discontinued. I'll keep trying to find a stain that lasts. =(

Lotions/ Creams -Bath and Body Works - Dark Kiss- Lotion
lillybloo 11/21/2011 10:53:00 AM
Typically, BBW scents give me a headache and I think they are too expensive for what they are. A friend had a coupon though, so I figured, what the hell. The name drew me in. "Dark Kiss"--oooh sounds decadent! It smells like sweet, candied musk. That's the best way I can describe it. Maybe a little chocolate in there, some vanilla and some fruitiness too. Mmmmm....smells warm and sed-ultry, dark and exotic. Got the body wash and lotion, and will most definately get the body spray and more lotion. One pet peeve--I wish BBW had cuter packaging. I'm a sucker for pretty bottles, and there's are not exciting to me at all.

Eye Shadow -NYX - Jumbo Eye Shadow Pencil - Cottage Cheese
lillybloo 11/21/2011 10:42:00 AM
I got this for $4, and the quality is pretty good! This is a nice, creamy, metallic white pencil that is fairyly thick. I've dabbed it in my inner corners on occasion to brighten things up, but my favorite use is as a shadow primer(?). Line your top lids with this and layer ANYTHING over it. Fantastic! Beautiful and budge-proof! I wouldn't recommend this alone tho, because it does seem to smear on it's own. I have also used this on my bottom waterline to beautiful effect. Had been debating on this shade or Milk (a non-metallic white) and honestly am glad I got this one. I use it about every day. MUST HAVE!

Hair Color -Revlon - Colorsilk in Blue Black
lillybloo 11/21/2011 10:35:00 AM
Absolute best at-home black haircolor you can use. I don't know why I haven't reviewed this before. It's one of those things I just take for granted. But I really have to share just how great this is. I've tried other black dyes, LOTS of them. Most fade horribly, leaving me with really dark, dirty looking brown hair. But this is so cheap, could it really be that good? Um, YES. Application is pretty standard for at-home color, nothing different there. The gloves they give you are ha-ha funny and you really need to use better ones. The packet of conditioner is not nearly enough, either. But for $3-4, the results are pretty fantastic! The shiny blue-blackness looks beautiful. The blue really shines for the first week or so, but as others have mentioned, it does fade out. But the deep, rich black stays true till roots come in. I personally am in love with this, and if they ever stop making this particular brand/shade I'm going to have a panic attack. It's really THAT awesome. =)

Moisturizers -Philosophy - Miracle Worker Miraculous Anti-Aging Moisturizer
lillybloo 11/21/2011 10:26:00 AM
When I first got this, I thought it felt waaaaay too heavy and mask-y to use at all. Then came the cooler, drier weather. My face started getting a lot drier and needed something *extra*. This will be my cold-weather moisturizer from now on. It's thick, creamy, and makes my dried-out, winter-rough skin feel like satin. I LOOOVE this, and wish it didn't cost so damned much, as it's like crack, and now I can't be without it! LOL My only other gripe is that the packaging sucks. I hate having to scoop any product out of a tub. (Can you say unsanitary??) Wish they'd put it in a pump grrrrr...Anyway, awesome for drier skin and colder weather. Love it muchly!

Polishes -Essie - Cabi-O -Lait
lillybloo 11/21/2011 10:21:00 AM
Yuck-o. This is one of Essie's losers. I have a love/hate relationship with Essies. The pale cremes always seem streaky and thick. This one was hella-pain to apply, and after 3 coats was still sheer and streaky. It looked so bad, I didn't even let it dry and took it off immediately. The color is nice, a pale neutral which is what I wanted. But honestly, my nails looked better naked than with this. Boooo!

Polishes -Orly - Rock-It
lillybloo 11/21/2011 10:17:00 AM
YAY for Sally's clearance! I'd been eyeballing this collex when it first came out. This particular sparkly red kept jumping out at me. Been on a lowbuy for a while and passed on it. Saw this the other day in the clearance bin for $3.99. Well, that did it. It's really gorgeous and totally different than any other red I have. In the bottle it has almost a raspberry shimmer, but on the nail it's more burgundy-red. Very deep sparkle, glass flecked polish. Good formula, decent dry time and 2 days no tip wear! Def needs tc tho, it dries a little un-shiny. One of my new fave reds!

Polishes -Essie - Clam Bake
lillybloo 9/29/2011 8:59:00 AM
I normally don't do orange polish, but this is the exception. Clambake is an orange-red jelly, 3 coater. It's a fun pop of color that looks great with a tan! Essie formulas are inconsistent, but this one's lovely. Not too thick, not too thin jelly. I like it best without a topcoat; the jelly's luminosity seems to dull with tc. Really juicy-looking!

Polishes -OPI - Vodka & Caviar
lillybloo 9/29/2011 8:54:00 AM
Best non-glitter red polish in existence! I've tried many red polishes over the years and this is my #2 fave. (Ruby Pumps is #1) The clearest, truest red. I see no traces of orange OR blue. This is a jelly/creme(?) with a luminous finish. It is one of those "lit from within" colors and looks good on any skin tone. As pretty on as it is in the bottle.

Polishes -OPI - Teenage Dream (Katy Perry)
lillybloo 9/29/2011 8:48:00 AM
Hands down, my absolute favorite glitter polish. Various sizes of pink holo glitter in a thick jelly base, which dries pretty quickly. I use 3 coats w/gelous as a top coat to get rid of the grittiness. Probably the most "distracting" polish I own...I can't stop staring at my nails with this on, especially in sunlight! One BIG issue I have with this is that it seems to start peeling at the tips and comes off in sheets! That's aggravating b/c this is OPI and I expect better =( But this is so beautiful I'll deal with it. I haven't seen a glitter polish out there anything like this. She's a stunner!
