Lip Treatments -Carmex - Click Stick Original SPF 15

This is my go to lip moisturizer. I love how long it lasts on my lips. I've used a lot of other "chapsticks" and this one is by far my absolute favorite. Other lip moisturizers always seem to fade after minutes of wear but carmex can last hours. I like putting it on before I go to bed. When I wake up in the morning I brush my teeth then I brush my lips and it brushes away all the old dry skin that was on there leaving it soft and smooth. I know it might sound weird but you guys need to try it, you won't regret it!

Lips -Cover Girl - Outlast Lipstain

I've been looking for a good long lasting lipstain for quite some time now, so I figured I was in luck when I discovered Covergirl's lipstain. I've used this product on and off for over a year now. It's okay, not great, but not bad, it has it's pros and cons. I have a love hate relationship with it. Initially I had the same issue most people had, the marker-like tip seemed to dry out too fast and I couldn't get it out onto my lips. Then one day I got so mad at it I slapped it hard on my hand, next thing I know there was lipstain all over the inside of the cap. So, to anyone having this issue just slap it a couple times and you'll get that sucker out of there! I originally bought two colors; nude kiss and sassy mauve. I hated nude kiss, it was not a nude color at all! It was kind of orangey brown and very dark. When I applied sassy mauve, the color wasn't what I expected but I still liked it. It also came out a lot darker but it was still pretty. I've come to realize that I cannot trust the color I see on the packaging because it is nothing like the actual color that comes out the applicator. But it does seem to lighten up after an hour or so because the stain comes off when I drink stuff. The top layer fades away leaving a lighter color underneath, resembling the color slightly closer to the packaging. I hate how when I first applied it, it didn't apply evenly. It looked blotchy and some parts of my lips would be darker than others. After trying different techniques I think the best way for me is to apply it on the outer corner of my lips first, slowly creating a lip line while at the same time working it inward with small strokes until I reach the center of my lips. I'm not sure if that made sense but I'm not sure how else to explain it. Now after using this technique I get a more even coverage. Lastly, I don't really like how drying it makes my lips look. I have to add a little bit of chapstick or carmex to add some moisture back to my lips. If I use this lipstain in the morning and don't retouch it throughout the day, by the evening it looks like the color on center part of my lips is completely gone leaving an outer lip line effect that makes me look like a "chola".

Concealers -Hard Candy - Glamoflauge Concealer

I bought this product because of all the positive reviews but after using it for about a month now I can't seem to find anything good about it. I don't know what people are talking about; it makes my undereye area look cakey and makes an obvious crease only after an hour of wear. Maybe I'm applying it wrong? I've used a concealer brush, my fingers, a makeup sponge, and still it looks awful. Also I tried using it under and on top of my foundation, both ways have not worked for me. I wish I had kept the box so I could return it. I'm still in search for that perfect concealer.

So I've seriously been searching for a long lasting buildable foundation my whole life, and I think I've finally found it! Pros: - Lasts forever! (I know you're not suppose to sleep with makeup on, but one night I came home drunk and fell asleep without washing my face or brushing my teeth. The next morning when i woke up, my makeup was still on with complete full coverage!) - Extremely buildable (I normally apply it with a damp wedge sponge to get sheer to light coverage and then I continue to apply more from there. I have hyperpigmentation and it covers really well for that). - Good range of colors. (My skin color is kind of hard to find tones that match perfectly. I'm a light olive color with cool yellowish undertones. I did have to try a few until I found the one that matched me, but that was fine because i would rather have a lot to try from then barely any at all). - Diminishes pores. (I have pretty big pores and this foundation makes it look way smaller). - Smooth finish. (It leaves your skin looking semi matte and semi dewy. I prefer to have a matte finish so i always use a setting powder which leaves my acne prone, hyperpigmented, oily skin looking healthy, matte, and flawless!) - Reasonable price (for $10 that's pretty darn awesome). Cons: - packaging (it comes in a glass bottle with a screw top, no pump or anything. When I pour it out I always seem to pour way too much). All in all i love this foundation and i will continue to use it for a long time unless I find something better for cheaper.

Foundations -Cover FX - COVER FX

I cant believe people like this stuff! It's absolutely horrible. I bought it because my friend recommended it for the great coverage. I have hyperpigmentation so I've been looking for a really good foundation that is full coverage yet feels light, and stays put for over 12 hrs. Sadly, this foundation isn't it, too bad because i really wanted to like it. I will admit the coverage is great, but it doesn't really matter because it literally rubs off on everything. I always put a setting powder but it doesn't stay put at all. I have to walk around hoping my face doesn't accidentally touch stuff. I have very oily skin and this foundation only made it worse. Also the texture is so thick, I learned that a little goes a long way. Even after putting on my setting powder my face still feels sticky from the foundation. I figured since the coverage is so good why not use it as an under eye concealer instead, boy was that a bad idea! This stuff sits deep into every line, pore, and crevice. The wrinkle under my eye that i once thought was small now seemed to grow into the size of a football field! Okay I'm exaggerating, but it did make all my lines and pores more obvious, and no woman likes that. Now I'm using Revlon's colorstay foundation. I can't believe this drugstore brand is better and so much cheaper. CoverFx is way too expensive for how bad it was. The only good thing is the packaging, I guess.
