Wow.. If I give a MAC lippie a 2, ya know I really don't like it! It's the formula really, I HATE Lustres! Too sheer, bleed in lip lines, last maybe 30 minutes, fade splotchy - UGH!!!!!!!!!! I love the color of Capricious though, and I've found a DUPE in a MUCH nicer formula!!!! Maybelline Perfect Plum... look up my review of it on here and you'll see why! :D Sometimes I layer Capricious OVER Perfect Plum for a glossy effect. NC15/NW20

I purchased MAC Capricious lipstick based on its beautiful color... but it's a Lustre finish which in my experience = too sheer, bleeds, lasts about 5 minutes on, etc etc. I went to Target on a mission to find a dupe of Capricious and I ended up with Plum Perfect - and boy am I happy!!! The color is a medium/deep Raisin Berry color ... the epitome of what I have been looking for for years. It goes on creamy and even and mostly opaque.. I will update when I have tested it out for a day about it's performance. NC15/NW20

Fuchsia Flash is an EXACT DUPE of MAC Embrace Me lipstick!! The only difference that I find is FF is more glossy while EM is matte. FF stays true to color for about 4-5 hours and does not bleed or clump too much in the corners of the lips. I am so thrilled since I missed out on EM!! NC15/NW20

I really wanted to love this. Lady at Play is so fantastic and moisturizing and long wearing, I thought all the mineralize lippies would be. Grande Dame is a very pretty neutral medium toned pink lipstick... wore it for the first time today.... needs like 3 coats to become almost opaque... don't press your lips together or you will get weird lines... and only lasted about 3 hrs before it felt mostly off and my lips felt very dry. Disappointed. :(

O.M.G. This lipstick is absolutely gorgeous. It is most similar to crosswires in the tube, but on the lips they are quite different. It is a wearable more pinky and brighter version of crosswires and the formula is spectacular. One coat, don't blot lips together, let set, and it stays perfect for hours until you eat. It helps my lips maintain moisture and leaves them feeling moisturized when it wears off. I get many compliments when I wear it. Gorgeous! NW20/NC15

The only reason that I took one lippie off is because this goes on chalky and gets in lip lines. If I put a thin coat of lipbalm on first, it mostly gets rid of the problem. This color is gorgeous - it's a pure orange - no reddish or pinkish to it at all. I'm NW20/NC15 for reference.

Fashion whim... if I wear it alone it pretty much mutes out my lips with a nice shine... My fave way to wear this is over a lip stain. If I have been wearing a bright/dark (esp red) lippie all day and my lips are stained, I put this on and a creamy pink appears - so beautiful!!

Diva is a beautiful vampy matte color. But it is almost identical to Sin, so if you have one ya don't need the other. They both have cool dark reddish undertones but Sin is slightly darker than Diva. Both are matte.

LOVE... Party Parrot is pretty much just like impassioned... a little brighter, leans a little more coral, and matte finish!!! Oh how I love MAC's matte finish lippies!!! LONG wear - up to 7 hours w little to no touch ups... so pretty!

OMG my perfect orange!!!! I hear that Neon Orange, Morange, and Good to go are the exact shade - So I went with the prolongwear because I don't have time for touch ups.... This is so beautiful - When I see myself in the mirror wearing this my heart skips a beat LOL... nice and bright but comes off completely with no stain when wiped off. Love it!!

For me, this was disgusting!!!! Thankfully I tried it on before buying it... A totally pasty pale almost fluorescent purple... reminds me of a purple St. Germain which looks disgusting on me too.

This is fantastic. I am absolutely in love with Absolute Power - my perfect red - but sometimes I don't want such a bright lippie. Perpetual Flame is Absolute Power's conservative sister... almost exact shade but without such brightness. I just love it!! Oh, it does stain... I love putting Creme sheen lipglass in Fashion Whim over the stain - gorgeous!!
