This is my go-to color nail polish! Yes it's frosty, but I like the way it looks and the color, which is light pink/champagne, works with everything. It becomes opaque in 2 layers, although I can almost go for 1 layer on my toes. Also, it lasts forever - I don't remember exactly, but on my fingers it definitely lasts more than a week. I would purchase this again and am glad I can still find it in stores.
I bought the "Peas and Qs" color from Target in 2010 and it is the absolute perfect seafoam green color that I had been looking for! Unfortunately, after emailing nicole by OPI, I found out that it was a shade for just that summer, and I couldn't find it at other Targets. This polish goes on smoothly and lasts for maybe a week without chipping, though I think that's a generous estimate. I love it mainly because the color is gorgeous.
I really like American Apparel. Yes, it's more expensive, but the quality is consistent and you'll feel less guilty about how the product was made. Anyway, I have a lot of basics from AA that I wear all the time: my hoodies, the running shorts I wear to bed, the purple vneck I've worn so many times this summer that my friend called me out for it...lol. Another thing is that you kind of have to improvise with some of the products, something that I'm not particularly good at. I bought a mint green sash because I loved the color, but I couldn't make it work as a belt or a hair wrap thing. So if you like being creative with how you wear pieces of clothing or are just looking for some dependable basics, you'd probably like American apparel.
Free People is my favorite brand! Their clothes are basically the ideal style I've been trying to find - free spirited, detailed, and summery (but it works year round!). Free People is really pricey for me, but I get around that by buying it from the exchange/thrift store or getting it at Nordstrom Rack or on sale online.
I bought this as a liquid liner beginner and it wasn't too great. When I first started using it, way more liquid than I needed came out, probably one of the reasons why it dried out so quickly. I also felt like I couldn't make a very straight line with this, but that might be because I didn't have much experience with liquid eyeliners. One good thing about this eyeliner is that it is very small and convenient to carry around.
Sunscreen -Neutrogena - Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Sunblock SPF 100+ with Helioplex

This sunscreen is awesome! I apply it every morning year round and my face doesn't feel sticky or oily at all! Also, I don't like getting tan, so I was pleased when I didn't get much darker when I was out all day in the sun for a concert.
This stuff is amazing for acne! I bought it originally to make a bump on my ear piercing go away, but after that, it just sat on my shelf. When I read the reviews on here for tea tree oil as a spot treatment, I decided to try it. I dipped a q-tip into the oil and ran some water over the q-tip. Then I applied it to a small breakout on my forehead. The next morning, one of my painful pimples felt much smaller, the others were dried, and the redness of my skin was reduced! I also had a really bad breakout of acne on my back a few days ago, so I used it on my back and it worked pretty well too. The smell is kind of hard to handle, but that's the only con for me. Edit: So after using this for a while, I felt like it didn't work that well anymore. In fact, I broke out on my forehead while using the tea tree oil at night on problem areas every day and it didn't do much to reduce my zits. I really hope it's not what caused me to break out, but I can't be sure. I still think it works all right, but I'm more wary.
Highlighters -Victoria's Secret - PRO Radiant FX Face Illuminator

This made my face red and sparkly where I applied it, which I didn't like. Then after a while, the color would go away, which I didn't like either. Also, the pump is really bad. If you push it down a little it stops and a tiny bit of product comes out. If you push it down more, it goes down all the way and too much product spurts out.
Concealers -Physicians Formula - Gentle Cover Concealer Stick (Yellow)

This concealer covers my undereye circles pretty well, but application is a bit harsh since the skin gets rubbed. I like that it blends in with my skin.
I love this brush! I use it for my powder blush and it works well to make the blush look more even on my cheeks. The bristles are super soft. The packaging is sleek and simple, and I got it for just $8!
This is easy to apply, goes on dark, and doesn't smudge. However, it fades throughout the day.
This gives great volume and length considering what sparse eyelashes I have, but the brush picks up a lot of mascara at first. I think the curved brush is pretty useful in general.
Eyeliner -Rimmel - Soft Kohl Kajal Eye Pencil in Pure White

I use this in the corners of my eyes and on my waterline. It's not very long lasting and it's hard to get a lot of color onto my waterline.
This mascara gave my lashes decent volume, but I noticed that I had smudges on the rims of my bottom lids at the end of the day. Not that spectacular, and the price isn't worth it. Nice packaging though. Also, it smells kind of bad, but that wasn't a big deal for me.
