This product, like so many others on this page has said, WORKS. I love having something on my nails. I HAVE to, its like i feel i can't go out without having my nails done. I always self do my nails at home. I do my nails very often, changing polish every 2-3 days as i can't stand wearing out polish that has chipped off. Gradually i realised my nails were kinda getting weaker... i could feel the difference. Once i tried growing my nails to a longer length, and it split. So then i knew i had to do something to strengthen up my nails, if it went on i wouldn't be able to grow it long without breakage, and my nails were not "shaped". I want my nails to be like a letter 'U', but because it is not thick/ strong, it sort of flares out at the white, which i always file off at the side in attempt to try and make it look better. I went on to search for products that might help my nails. I didn't really do a long search actually, the products i used before this was just Sally Hansen Continuous Treatment and Nail Tek III. For both i couldn't feel any difference.. And I did even consider getting OPI Envy's treatments but because of the expensive price imo, decided not to. So on MUA, when i was looking at other products, this product was just listed at the side bar. Since i saw it so many times, curiosity got the better of me and i clicked to read all the reviews. Seeing that so many people left positive reviews, i went on ebay to get it. At the start i was like, heck, so much for just 5ml? But hey, its true. I used for close to 2 months now and its looks like its not been touched at all, maybe only a drop of it is gone. It will last you very long. I used one brush per hand. I know they said 1-2 applications per week but i'm pretty impatient so at the start i did it as often i change my nail polishes, hoping to see results faster... :P Luckily no bad effects were done to my nail, and as i felt my nails getting better, i slowly reduced the usage until now, i am planning to use it 1-2 bi-weekly as i'm scared that too much might make it too dry and prone to breakage. My nails are hard and properly shaped now, and i love 'em so much. Gonna use it on my mum and possibly my dad to help their nails!!

Polishes -OPI - Tickle my France-y
rated 5 of 5
liews 3/14/2013 10:01:00 AM

So many people already described the shade, so i'm not gonna bother going into that as i am pretty bad at it anyway. I also own 'Barefoot in Barcelona', and Tickle my France-y is imo, just a shade lighter than it, so i was kinda bummed that i bought two polishes of almost the same shade. (Btw i bought from online with little research on the shade that's why) However, Tickle my France-y suited my light skin tone so much more than Barefoot in Barcelona did, so it wasn't so bad. Formula is, imo, quite watery. When i used it for the first time it actually dripped from half of the applicator while i was applying it onto my nail. Could be have been my fault for not realising that it was dripping but i have never encountered problems like that before. Overall its a pretty shade and would always wear it on days i don't know what i want on my nails. :)

Treatments -China Glaze - Fast Freeze Quick Dry
rated 5 of 5

I always can't stop myself from touching things excessively while doing manicure, i have this bad habit that i just HAVE to do something like surfing the web, typing, or i'll bore to death hahaha. And this is just so extremely helpful, i don't think i can do another manicure without this around. Product works as it says, though i would say for safety wait a little longer than the time they stated, especially if you have many layers of nail polish on. The other reviews said they got the spray bottle version, which i assume is the old packaging...? I bought it off online and i got the ordinary CG nail polish bottle with brush, and also it comes along with a dropper. Very easy to use, just drip one drop onto your nail and let it work its magic :D Necessity for me, and will def repurchase.

Polishes -OPI - Liquid Sand: Stay the Night
rated 4 of 5

I like the interesting texture of the product. Though it can be difficult to apply as its matte (chunky and all..) but i really like the finish. Actually i like it more when few days has passed and some of the pink glitter in it fades and become silver, the nail polish colour just got more special hahaha. Staying power is good, it doesn't chip (95% of my nail polish chip on me), just wears off at tips in few days, naturally. That also means removal is slower, hee. I like :D

Concealers -Kanebo - KATE stick concealer
rated 4 of 5

Great concealer, thick and quite easy to blend. Covers my bad dark eye circles and imperfections pretty nicely, so far the best concealer i've used. I don't know if there are better ones out there but until then, this is the one i would definitely repurchase.

Foundations -Revlon - ColorStay Makeup with SoftFlex SPF 6 for Combination/Oily Skin
rated 2 of 5
liews 2/18/2013 5:19:00 AM

For now, this is a brief review/ first impression. I was looking for a liquid foundation that offers decent coverage, but yet does not feel too uncomfortable, and also not too expensive. I looked at the reviews here and decided to give it a try as i don't have much choice of drugstore brands over here (SEAsia). Ok so like many had said, the glass bottle packaging without a pump or proper dispenser is a pain in the ass. Its causes wastage of product and for a clumsy person like me, it would sure to make mess once in a while. And when rushing for time i don't think i would have the patience to pour properly. :/ And i tried it once i got home, smoothing it out with my fingers (my brushes were drying). True about having to work at a faster speed, or it will slowly become tacky and hard to smooth out nicely. For the finish, its quite good and the coverage is what i'll like. However, the foundation causes this weird tight feeling around my cheeks. Could it be that it is too dry? Maybe, but it doesn't feel comfortable that way. I will try moisturising my face properly and see if it helps. But i think its better to work with a brush. And the removal, yep it needs for effort than other foundations i wore. Much more actually. I usually could clean my face in a piece of facial wipe, but for this, neh. I think this product requires a very good makeup remover or maybe cleansing oil to removr it fully. Due to this i don't think this would be an everyday foundation for me as i have to invest in those things like makeup remover or extra wipes monthly. >UPDATE< After using it, i come to a conclusion that this isn't for me. It just doesn't feel nice when i wear it and application is tedious due to the packaging. Still finding one that suits me......

Polishes -China Glaze - Swanky Silk
rated 5 of 5
liews 1/23/2013 1:01:00 PM

I got this because i loved the pink and gold combination. Although the pink is only visible under certain lighting and angles like most polishes, the gold itself is pretty. Consistency is more towards watery (but not too much too, just right) which i like in polishes as they make it easy to blend and work with. To me Swanky Silk is like a "twist" in nude polish colour, love it!

Polishes -Sally Hansen - Diamond Strength No Chip Nail Color
rated 4 of 5
liews 1/23/2013 12:55:00 PM

Bought it 'cause it happened to be on sale on my local drugstore. As it was a 'buy 1 free 1' promo, i got the colours 'Black Tie' and 'Diamonds'. Black tie is i gorgeous colour imo, i love it. From the bottle, it has purple, green and maybe a hint of blue inside. When applied on nails, it appears fully purple when its under direct bright light (i.e under a table lamp), and appears green when under "indirect" light (when looking at nails facing away from the lamp). Actually it depends on the type of lighting too.. ok i know i make no sense. :P For the Diamonds, when applied it gives a metallic look finish. Matte. I layered it over black tie and it looks cool! The only downside is that i find it to be goopy.. maybe its because i really prefer my polishes to be actually more to the watery side as it makes it easier to paint and more "blendable". It might take more coats and time but i'll much prefer that. (China Glaze's Swanky Silk is the consistency i love) Overall this is a polish worth buying if you have any colours you like in the series. For me, i couldn't really see much shades that i could buy, most shades are too mature imo. EDIT(again): I wore it for four days, and it doesn't chip. AT ALL. But it does have very little wear at the tips, which is perfectly normal. But compared to all other polishes i've worn they are always sure to chip sooner or later and this doesn't. Good :))

Concealers -Revlon - PhotoReady Concealer SPF 20
rated 4 of 5
liews 12/7/2012 9:36:00 AM

I just got this today, in light medium (lightest shade i could find here :/). I am around NC20-25. I was looking for a concealer for my (horrible) undereye circles and this one was on sale, so after briefly reading through the reviews people made, i decided to give it a try, afterall when i tried the tester i liked the blendability. I tried it on and my friend commented that it indeed has quite a good coverage, not perfect but definitely better than my previous concealer(s). I pretty much like it, for now...

Top/Base Coats -Poshe - Super-Fast Drying Top Coat
rated 4 of 5
liews 11/14/2012 1:22:00 PM

My 2nd topcoat after Seche Vite (really bad imo). I think it dries fast and works pretty well, i'm quite satisfied with it. But i think its not really chip-resistant, and i hate how its difficult to finish up the whole bottle as the brush cannot reach to the bottom of the bottle. Wastage :(

Top/Base Coats -Essie - Good to Go! The Fastest Drying Top Coat
rated 5 of 5
liews 11/14/2012 1:14:00 PM

Decided to explore around with topcoats as i haven't found my favourite. I have tried Seche Vite (disappointing.. imo) and Poshe fast drying top coat (pretty good). Seeing that the reviews here are pretty good, i bought one off online (its rare and expensive for stores in my country). I had Essie Matte About You before so the bottle and packaging is nothing new, just the colours. And so the brush is still as thin, which i dislike. It can be difficult to apply with such a thin brush esp if applying over those uneven nail art..? The drying time i also not as fast as i expected it to be.. i think poshe's is faster. However it is pretty chip resistant i must say. It has been 3-4 days but there's only visible wear on the tips (probably due to frequent computer usage and my work at a clothing retail) Overall i'm quite satisfied with it, but will continue to search for other topcoats.

Polishes -Kleancolor - Kleancolor Chunky Holo Black
rated 1 of 5
liews 11/14/2012 12:55:00 PM

The effect i wanted didn't really show up well.. it only shows well in certain lights. Like other reviews mentioned, it takes ages to dry. And the most negative thing about it is that it stinks!! I mean it really does, i can't even bear to open it just because of the smell, its unbearable. Will never repurchase... rather pay more for better quality.

Polishes -Sally Hansen - Peachy Keen #140
rated 3 of 5
liews 11/7/2012 2:19:00 PM

I don't like the brush, and the consistency. It streaks a lot when i apply it, unlike other nail polishes which are actually cheaper. Finishing is very hard to make it even too. The only thing i like is how it shines when it dries and the colour. I don't use it unless i need a quick manicure.

Cleansers -Garnier - Pure 3 in 1 Wash-Scrub-Mask
rated 4 of 5
liews 11/3/2012 12:01:00 PM

I have used this product for around 2 weeks. My face tends to get acne easily, last time it was on my forehead then i don't know how but it transferred to my cheeks! It made me look super ugly and i always try to cover up the bumps with concealer but its still visible. And makeup can make it worse too i know... Then i was so desperate for some miracle cleanser that can just help clear the pimples away, or at least make them better. So i read about this Garnier 3-in-1 cleanser, and saw that quite a number of reviews were positive. Since its priced average, i decided to just grab one and try, and i'm so glad i did. Now all my face has are a few occasional pimples or very tiny bumps that are probably not visible and only can be felt by touch. I am so glad. For me, i have a veryvery oily T-zone and forehead, and i think this product didn't have much effect for oil control on me.. Some people say its too strong but i use it everyday and have no problems with it. Now my face has just some removal of blemishes to do ^^
