Powder -Lancome - Dual Finish Versatile Powder Makeup

I have acne-prone skin, so I was very wary about this powder. But, I love it. The scent is a bit much, but the coverage, texture, and color are excellent.
Treatments -Neutrogena - Healthy Skin Anti-Wrinkle Cream

I have tried this twice and both time it burned unbearably. I don't have sensitive skin either. Oh, well.
Totally worthless. Worst shampoo I've tried. It dried out my hair, and I'm not very picky when it comes to shampoo.
Conditioner -Garnier - Fortifying Deep Conditioner 3 Minute Masque
libby99 1/27/2006 7:15:00 PM
This stuff is worthless. It does nothing for my hair. Also, it smells ever so faintly of cat urine.
My search is over! This is awesome. Does not dry out my combination acne-prone skin, and keeps my cystic acne under control. What a great product. I am so happy with this. It stings just a touch when you put it on, but is not unpleasant. My skin peeled a bit the first couple of days. This is also fading my acne marks.
Toners -Unlisted Brand - Bragg's Apple Cider Vinegar
libby99 1/15/2006 3:25:00 PM
I wanted to like this, but it did nothing for me aqua glycolic's toner didn't do. The AG toner is much better (even skin, smaller pores, fewer breakouts and blackheads), and doesn't stink to high heaven. I am not one to care about how a product smells if it works, but I could not live with the smell. I think this is very overhyped.
Liquid -Neutrogena - Visibly Even natural look makeup [DISCONTINUED]

I gave Neutrogena Healthy Skin 5 lippies before I tried this. This is better. Definitely the best foundation I've used, hands down. Use it with loose powder for a natural, daytime look and with heavy pressed powder for evening. It sins completely into skin, does not gather in fine lines and looks beautiful. I compared this on half my face to Lancome Renergie, and this won out. The term "holy grail" is overused on this board, but this is one product that deserves the term.
Is is the best product I've used in a long time. I apply this as a body moisturizer several times a week and it gives a very natural, uniform, glow. I exfolitate regularly, which might be why I've had not streaking or darker areas - this looks totally natural and is a good moisturizer as well. It does smell faintly like a self-tanner, but it *is* a self tanner, and the smell is much less in this product than in others I've tried. I will never be without this stuff. Great, great product. So easy.
I did not purchase this because the counter was out of my color, but the sa did give me two samples. I used this on half my face and neutogena visible lift on the other half. I thought at first that this was a bit more attractive - glowy, really. After I ran some errands and checked my makeup, this looked OK but the pores on the side of my face where this was were more noticable than the ones on the neutrogena side and all else appeared equal. So. . . a good makeup but not worth the price imo. I am very glad they were out of my color, as it will save me from returning a bottle.
I've been using this for about a week. The first time I used it I broke out HORRIBLY, but I like the way it feels, so I decided to start washing my face after I used it. The breakout is going away and I have not had any new pimples so I guess that works. I don't really have a review of it yet beyond advising that if it breaks you out but you want to continue using it, try washing your face afterward.
Pressed Powders -Physicians Formula - Multi-colored Peach to glow

Another pleased PPP with yellow undertones here. I use this in the wintertime to add a bit of color to my face. I dust it lightly over my entire face, which I would not do with bronzer. It gives just a bit of color and looks very natural on me. I bought this some time ago because I wanted a wintertime bronzer and hated it at first - I thought it was too light for a bronzer and too dark as a powder. Now I use it all the time and love it. It is pricey and kind of chancy because it is not going to work for all skintones, obviously, but this will probably last me a couple of years, as little as I use.
Styling Products -Dove - Body & Lift Volumizing Mousse
libby99 11/10/2005 10:27:00 PM
I cannot believe the bad reviews of this stuff! It is by far the best styling product, not to mention mousse, that I have ever used. It gives my fine hair lots of body and that lasts all day without being sticky or making my hair hard. My hair is softer when I use this stuff.
Concealers -L'Oreal - True Match Super-Blendable Concealer
libby99 11/5/2005 10:40:00 AM
This is a great undereye concealer, but not thick enough to cover acne scars or blemishes. I like that it is not thick, so it looks much more natural than many concealers I've tried. I'll use this up and might come back to it eventually after that.
Styling Products -Aveda - Light Elements Smoothing Fluid
libby99 10/31/2005 5:39:00 PM
This stuff is good. I've had my bottle for over a year and there is still plenty in there, but then, I only use it once a week or so. I alternate between this and Garnier Sleek and Shine serum. This is lighter and does a good job of smoothing my hair, though it doesn't provide a drastic difference, which the Garnier kind of does. I still like this equally well for some reason. My favorite thing about it is that it can be used on dry hair without causing greasiness, which is pretty rare for this type of production. Not a bad buy.
I wish I liked this stuff, but I don't. It doesn't seem to rinse well, I feel my pores clogging, and I break out when I use this. I don't know why I've tried so many times. . . Neutrogena oil free acne wash is much better, imo, though not very exciting.
