Bronzers -St.Tropez - Self Tan Bronzing Mousse

I was so excited to try this. I tan well in the summer but in the dead winter I am ghostly and I am NC15. When I used this in the summer with a full tan, I barely noticed anything. I would apply before going to bed and it develops over night. The mousse is supposed to be washed off after it is developed for a nice glow. Well, in the winter, I wake up and love the color, it really is a nice tan, and slightly more than a glow but not too much. When I wash it off (and not even using soap and barley rubbing it) I come out looking like I had never applied it. I have no idea how everyone is loving this when they are much darker than me, and I am not even one seeking a deep tan! I also don't know how people can apply this and wake up with it looking perfect. Yes, you can see where it is applied but you get patches that are much darker. I see this happening on my forearms and by my elbows, and I even use the mitt. I will say applying it to my face with a makeup sponge results in perfect application every time, but on certain parts I can never get it perfect. This kind of sucks because I only love it when I wear it without washing it off, and if it is streaky then it's long sleeves for me. All in all, I would love the product if when you washed it off all the color doesn't go down the drain. It's crazy that being so fair skinned I look the same after showering. for me, it's not worth the price for little pay off so I will keep looking.

Foundations -Unlisted Brand - Lucy Minerals Foundation

Recently bought a sample after reading the great reviews! I use this over my lioele bb cream and then put a bronzer on top. This makes my skin look great! It definitely looks better as the day goes on. I have some redness from acne spots and probably wouldn't be comfortable just wearing this alone in the winter, this would be a great summer foundation. My shade in MUFE is NC 15 and I chose light. I think I picked the perfect color not sure how some of these girls are saying they are around my skin tone and are getting the olive colors. I apply this with an elf flat top and it works great with a really dense brush. Only concerns I have are I feel like when I use this I am oiler at the end of the day, but then again my bb cream is dewy and I haven't tried lucy's by itself. Also it magnifies my pores, have no idea why. I have never been concerned/had problems with my pores so that isn't really a big deal. I will repurchase for the full size, can't wait for summer to come back!

BB Cream -Lioele - Beyond the Solution BB Cream

After a lot of research I ordered this on ebay. First of all the packaging is great. It's a huge soft tube with a pump, so no wasted product and you can get all the product out. At first I was thrilled after rubbing it in on my face, but after using some cheapie cosmetic sponges it is great. I found that painting it on with a sponge gives a much nicer finish than say blotting with a beauty blender. The finish is pretty dewey. I just tried the sample of the triple the solution and didn't like it as much, it was pretty pale and dried to a powdery finish which looked dry. I would much rather just put on some powder rather than trying to figure out how to un-cake my face. The coverage is about medium. It is def more than a tinted moisturizer but not a full coverage foundation. I use to go all out full but in the summer with a tan, and some of the redness from acne fades this is perfect. I have also blotted a mousse constancy foundation over it such as the boots no.9. Only real complaint is the cap gets dirty from excess foundation from the pump, not exactly too concerned about it. I think this was about $15 from amazon with shipping so not a bad buy. I live in the east and go to school in the west so my skin gets very dry in the winter when I'm not home. I have only tried this in the humid summer but I'm sure with the dewey finish it will not emphasize the dry spots. Also, I am a NC15, and this is a great color. If you are darker you can just throw some bronzer on top and you're good.

Hair -Organix - Reparing Awapuhi Ginger Dry Styling Oil

Like others mentioned I bought the shampoo version and it came with a tiny sample on the back. I currently use Moroccan oil (the actual brand name) while my hair is wet. I decided what the heck and tried the sample out, my hair has never been softer especially when straightened. Never thought I would ever find any product (hair or makeup) that I would rave about enough to write a review, but this stuff makes the list.

My biggest complaint is the packaging is a little too bulky, but on the contrast it is very cute and has a little push out draw of wax. I have it in "ginger snap" and i have blonde/brown hair, although my eyebrows are pretty dark. I found this was a tiny bit too red for dark brown eyebrows but overall it went on great. It wasn't chalky and had a medium pigment which allowed me some wiggle room for mistakes. I use with an angle brush and the best thing is that it does not transfer or smudge, as it comes off throughout the day (like with any makeup) it is gradual so it doesn't look weird by the time you get home.
